It was very stupid of Irabatty to use the Hum bhi ladke wale card.

its just a regular soap so the mother in law is nasty, its jsut namesake daughter in law is like daughter, in all probablity jagya will marry sanchi & then sanchi drama will commence in typical fashion as all the other serials, jagya will tolerate for a while coz of sumitra's anandi ke sasrewale hai.

Although I love Jagya and this show, am keeping away from watching it for the time being due to the extreme negativity surrounding Jagya and Ganga within the show.

I just want him to break free. Will continue to read WU's and analysis such as these till I start watching again. I want to watch this show for the Jagya Ganga moments, dont have the energy to cope with all the negative women in the show.

Reading the update makes me sad. And I thought Ira was an educated, liberal woman. Gehna and Ganga are better women than her, albeit uneducated. So does education really change your outlook, I wonder.

So in case of Ira, it is Anandi who threatens her whereas it is Ganga for Sumitra. So far Ira is now only tolerating Anandi because Sanchi is pretending to be pals with Anandi. Once this relation breaks, Ira's ire will fall on Anandi. She will be as nasty to Anandi as Sumitra is towards Ganga.

I want to see if Anandi takes solid offence at the 'we r ladkewaale '' statement

coz it means if our girl is troubled we will trouble Anandi . Thats what it means .

And Anandi has told women like Chanda not to take such bull .

So i want to see if she smiles and uses diplomatic placatory language

Kools, you are absolutely right. It doesn't matter how Sumitra and Ira are shown. In fact, weak insecure characters are a must to move drama. So in fact I like how they are showing that education or even belonging to a liberal family does not necessarily make one open minded. Dadisa is the one who is the most flexible of all - the way she has changed her thinking and for the most part stays close to her principles - right or wrong.

I get your point. But I still feel Sanchi only thinks she knows what she wants. Her so called clarity is only surface level. I don't understand why would she want only Jagya and not any other man who can give her whatever she wants (many rich men spoil their wives and meet all their demands).
She claims she will work differently on Jagya. But wants to do things same as Anandi bhabhi and Shiv bhaiya.

She is nowadays trying to impress Jagya by being "traditional". Okay, she assumes she can chuck out Singhs and ignore them. But what does she think she will do when she regains her original avatar in front of Jagya after marriage?

I think she is a short sighted woman. She hates same people but would take help from or emulate those very people who she hates.

She is angry with urban people. She is frustrated with rural people. I don't understand what the hell she wants!
