Khushi came down the stairs happily humming her favorite song when she collided with Anjali

"Ohh I am so sorry Di I was just lost I ….." She apologized quickly balancing Anjali on the ground while Anjali bit back the smile

"Hmm I can see you lost in my brother's thoughts"

Khushi's face immediately turned red as she remembered the previous night

"Di … it … it's …no … nothing …. Y …." She stammered looking here and there while Anjali couldn't hold back her smile

"I am so happy to see you both happy together, now I guess it's time a new member is coming to our house soon" firstly Khushi didn't understand her meaning but when she did she shying away just hugged Anjali

"Stop it Di, please" Anjali caressed her head

"KHUSHI" Khushi was the first one to break the hug as she quickly ran back to her room

"Chotte, he came so early" Anjali looked at the clock where it was just 9:30 am then she moved to the living room

"Hmm so now my brother is skipping his office work for his wife" Anjali teased him while Arnav felt a little embarrassed

"No .. Di …. I … I …."

"Uffo what's up with both of you, you guys are stammering like you've committed some crime and now you have to confess it to me" Anjali teased once more holding back her smile while Arnav just crossed her not finding any answer

"Leave it Di" He marched to his room

"Oh no he actually came home" Khushi was strolling across the room nervously, looking around the room for some place to hide

The moment she heard footsteps approaching the room she quickly moved to the French window of the room and hide herself behind the curtains covering her face with her hands

As Arnav entered the room he found it empty,

"Khushi" He called softly and then checked the bathroom, she was not in there, she was not downstairs then where was she

"Khushi" He once again scanned the room when he noticed that the French window which open towards pool were covered with curtains, he can also see a slight movement in curtain in one corner, it could not be breeze as the windows were closed

"She is hiding from me" He smiled as he removed his shoes

On the other hand Khushi was shivering and trembling with nervousness, he called her twice but now not hearing any movement around the room, she removed her hands from the face and she was about to peek out moving aside the curtain when it's been pulled aside and here she can see him standing in front of her

She instantly covered her face again and he smiled

"You are really a cute little child you know" He spoke gently removing her hands off her face

Now she was gazing down, He held her hands and leaning kissed her forehead

"I doubt you were the one who called me an hour ago telling me that I need to come home in order to seek your forgiveness" He closed the distance between their bodies

"So how many sorrys??" He whispered huskily against her lips and her breath hitched inside her

"I … I …. I …." She couldn't speak as Arnav swept her off her feet and moved to their bed

He gently placed her on the bed and lay down beside her, she closed her eyes as she felt his hand caged her on the bed

"I guess you want me to be the first face you see this morning, am I right?" Shying Khushi turned her face and hugged him, Arnav smiled

"I am sorry Khushi, I didn't mean to hurt you .. It's just I ….." He was about to blurt out the reason when he stopped in right time, Khushi was not in her senses to understand why he stopped

"I am hungry" He heard her saying it

"Even I am hungry for you" He smirked and said playfully causing Khushi to break the hug as she lightly hit him on his chest

"I meant food, I haven't done my breakfast yet"

"I too haven't done, so come down and have it" he pecked her lips lightly before getting off the bed and saw her smiling,

Finally he managed to bring back her smile

Life has become beautiful now. Khushi felt her day and nights to be more beautiful than ever, two months has been passed like it. Arnav has grown extra possessive for her. She could not thank her God for blessing her with such a loving, caring and protective husband

"Arnav Jee please let me go, Di would be waiting for me at the party" Khushi was now almost pleading in his grip to let her go and he was in no mood of it

"So, let her wait for sometime and let me see you" He said rolling her hairs on his hand

"You're ruining my hairs and you're seeing me for 30 minutes now, Arnav Jee please" She said pulling his hands off her hairs and he shook his head

"Please Arnav" She pouted and Arnav sighing kissed her cheeks

"Ok fine but take care of yourself and come back soon"

"I am not going on a war, it's marriage anniversary of best friend of Di" Khushi smiled as she brushed her hairs once more

"But I'll miss you" He said kissing her neck and before she gave in she quickly rushed out of the room

"Bye Arnav jee" She yelled and Arnav smiled at her but soon his smile disappeared as he heard Khushi's scream

"KHUSHI" He moved out and his face turned dark and pale seeing Khushi lying downstairs covered in blood

"She is safe now but she shouldn't be running like this in such condition" Arnav was watching over Khushi's bruised face, she has fallen from stairs but his ears caught attention to doctor's words

"What? What condition?" He asked confusedly, was she ill before and she didn't tell him about it

"She is pregnant Mr Raizada"

This was so unexpected for him, Pregnant! How can she be pregnant, doctor must've mistaken

"No, but how can she ….. I …. My ……" Arnav was at the loss of words now, he once again looked at the sleeping Khushi

On the other hand doctor think he was in a state of surprise with happiness so once again advising him about Khushi's medicine and health he left from there

Coming to the bed Arnav sat near her and lightly caressed her bandaged forehead, then his fingers moved down to her cheeks, her lips and he stopped, anger raised inside him as he quickly moved away from her

He came to the closet and opened his safe, taking out the medical report his eyes roamed to the 'Negative' written in bold, how could he forget that this one piece of paper changed his life

"Khushi can't be pregnant … she …." If he never known Khushi before he may end up suspecting her involving with some other man but he knew her and he knows her

Her innocence, her shyness when for the first time she let him made love to her, how can he forget it

He broke down once he saw the report in his hand, he even forget about Taani who was shedding tears sitting beside him on the couch

He can never become a father, he can never be able to gift her wife with the most precious thing which every woman dream of

"But Taani … how … I talked to Doctor Joshi last evening and he himself told me that everything is fine, there is nothing to be worried about, then how …." If he would've seen Taani's face at the moment he could see the instant worry spreading on her face

But she covered it up soon and continued, "The lab attendant just handed me these reports, that was a reputed laboratory"

Arnav just let out a sigh, They can never have children and soon after one week of it he had caught Taani with her colleague in the bed

He was in America for a conference which was scheduled to be for one week but then it ended two days early and he was happy to go home and see his wife but as soon he opened the door of his room the scene in front of him made him numb for a minute

His wife straddling some other man and their bodies devoid of any clothes, her moaning was enough to tell him what must've been going on in here

Recovering from the momentary shock, he marched to the bed and in a second he pulled Taani away from the man and slapped her, it was then Taani became aware of his presence

Quickly, she take the sheets to cover when Arnav pulled it from her and threw away

"What do you want to hide Taani?" He smirked mockingly and in the mean time the man managed to escape from the room, leaving the fight for husband and wife

"Ar … Arnav when did y … you get h … here" Gulping in fear Taani managed to pull the duppata from the cupboard and covered herself

"None of your business anymore, I will always regret these three months of my life, Just get out of here, from my house, from my life" Arnav spoke gritting his teeth

"Arnav please listen to me once I …." Taani with her fake tears tried to weaken him but he pulled her hand and threw her out of his room

"You've seen my caring side till now, be ready to witness my hate now, leave this house before I made security do this job, I am sure you don't want them to see like this or you!" He once again mocked her and closed the door on her face

He should have known this fact that Taani can bribe the lab attendant to make fake report but he never dig deep this matter and in the course he even hurt Khushi, he sighed as he remembered how easy it was to divorce Taani just two court proceedings and she was out of his life.

He closed his eyes painfully as he remembered his sources telling him that Taani and her boyfriend Rohit devised the plan to marry him to get his money to aid Rohit's business

"Doctor Joshi" His eyes shot open as soon the thought strike him

He instantly called him

"Hello Doctor Joshi, I just want to confirm that has you gone through my medical reports"

"Of course Arnav and I told you that time also that your reports are normal, they are positive, why are you asking? Is there any problem" Doctor said and now he was confirmed that Taani manipulated the reports

"No … no everything is fine, just want to confirm it" He felt relief course through him as he turned off the phone

Turning back to his wife Khushi, he smiled as he sat near her

Khushi took in a sharp breath and hissed as she stirred from the sleep. He immediately brought his hands under her head for support

"Hey" He smiled at her while she returned a weak smile as she opened her eyes

He keep smiling and when he didn't spoke anything it irked her so she asked,

"I got injured and you're smiling, how mean" She turned her face to the other side whining slightly and he moved her face to stare in her eyes and then leaning forward he kissed her bandaged forehead lightly

"Well it's always a wife who tell such things to her husband but since nothing is normal before so I guess I've to tell this to you"

"Tell what?" She was still confused

Smiling, Arnav brought his hand to rest on her stomach and she felt shiver running down her spine

"Here.." He whispered

"What?" She didn't understand

"Ok repeat whatever I say" He said irking Khushi more

"Arnav Jee we're not playing games"

"Yes we are" He said slightly enjoying it and she sighed

"Our love" He said

"Our love"

"Happiness"

"Happiness" She repeated

"Together forever"

She was so lost in him that when he spoke next words she repeated without even understanding them

"Our Angel"

Arnav smiled as he saw her all lost, "That's it, game is over"

"Huhh" Khushi came out of it and then realized what he told in last

"What did you say?"

"Our Baby" he whispered again and she instantly closed her eyes in shyness

"R … Really"

"Really, now it's your turn say it"

"What?" She asked confusedly sitting on her elbows as he helped her to sit

"That you are pregnant" He said smirking and her eyes widened

"What? No"

"What do you mean No if I didn't find it out you are the one to tell me about it, so just do it"

"Arnav Jee I can't" She looked away

"You are so stubborn Khushi, just say it damn it" Arnav said faking his anger

Khushi bit her lower lip and then inhaling deeply, closing her eyes she spoke, "Arnav Jee you're going to be a father, I am pregnant"

Saying it she quickly hide her face in his chest as she hugged him and Arnav just smiled as tears of joy rolled on his cheeks

"Thank you Khushi, thank you for everything"

They both are content and happy to know that happiness is at their doorstep waiting for them to embrace it

After 1 year:

"See buddy her hands are so tiny and still she is not letting go of my finger" Adeep and Arnav were playing with little Chandni which indeed illuminated their lives with happiness

It's been two months since their daughter came into their life. Arnav still remember when he first hold Chandni in his hands. She was his blood, his daughter, he cannot thank God more for anything but to bless him with so much happiness.

Now Adeep was in Arnav's room and he was so happy to have a young sister whom he can play with.

"Buddy see how she is making faces" Adeep and Arnav looked at the baby Chandni's face who was pouting her lips and moving her tiny hands and feet

"I think she is hungry, Go and call your Aani" Arnav said as he kissed the baby Chandni's forehead

Adeep instantly go down to the kitchen where Khushi was preparing dinner and she too came running to her room and immediately took Chandni from Arnav

She was feeding Chandni while Arnav was admiring his wife. After Chandni sleeps, she carefully placed her in the cot and that is when she found Arnav staring her

"What?" She turned to leave when Arnav pulled her in an embrace surprising Khushi

"You are the lost part of my soul Khushi and thank God I find you, you completes me Khushi in every way, you are the reason for my every happiness, I love you …. I love you more than any other thing" Never before Arnav opened to her like this, Khushi smiled and broke the hug, she then noticed the tears in his eyes and leaning forward she kissed his eyes

"I love you too"

Happy and contented they watched their beautiful daughter sleeping soundly. They've fought all the odds to be together as one soul, and now there is nothing which can ever separate them. They are true soul mates who had found their lost piece of soul in each other.
