Really amazing video yaar. IPK is nothing without Arnav and Khushi. Well that was not what she thought during IPKfiasco & I can bet it would not have been even now if she was Aastha. At least being the part of the hit show have the decency to wish it luck. After all 200 people are working hard for this show too.

As far as I remember of her US IV's she said IPK 2 is possible but without Barun. Also she accused the viewers for shutting her show down which would have continued otherwise after Arnav's death.

&even in recent IV she said she would love to be part of IPK 2. Its a known fact that Barun would not come back to TV as off now. I am assuming Barun and Arnav to be same as SI stated no one can be Arnav other than Barun.

So all in all IPK without Arnav & that means ArHi too was absolutely fine till she was or could have been part of IPK/IPK2.

I agree with Gautam Hedge. It is actually a proud moment for the entire cast of IPK/creators/writers that the channel has now turned it into a franchise. And if the news are true that SP gave huge amounts of money to buy the copyrights from 4Lions, then I think they have planned to make seasons of this show. Maybe they will start a M&B series with new cast every season and will take it for a year or so and then come back with a new season.

So in a way this show is going to pave way for seasons in India and who knows the stories may be told in a good and crisp manner and we may actually like this concept. And if I see the 2 segments in SBS/SBB, I would say the channel has woken up to this story and is spending money good enough which was always our complaint - they are really promoting the leads and are shooting in Ramoji Film City. Chalo if all this paves way for shorter, crisper stories then all the more power to IPK.

And finally I am going to follow GH's golden rule - Dekhna hai toh Dekho and that is one reason why I am not going to bombard SP with any of my requests. Let them come back with their show - it is up to me to like it or not and if I don't like it, I will mostly give up and go back to my favorite things like IPK1 uncuts.

I still think the channel instead of doing all this hara - kiri should have retained the old cast and come with a new season by taking the show forward through the younger generation of Arnav-Khushi. In a way the channel really is now riding out on the hard work of the earlier cast/team and that too without acknowledging their effort before. If SP acknowledged the efforts of Barun to bring ASR to life on screen, then they wouldn't have run that red ticker disclaimer. Like wise if the channel acknowledged the hard work of the remaining team mates, they wouldn't have yanked off the show within 4 days - they could have given a hiatus for a week or two before taking such a rash decision.

I still can't figure why the channel did the things the way they did during November. Now today I see that Saraswatichandra has a change of PH and now Dharma productions is taking over the show. And this show they had promoted heavily and still didn't rake in the TRPs or got them international recognition. So why weren't they even 10% careful when they were dealing with IPK satyanash? Couldn't they have done any other alternative. I can understand the team members reaction - I would have been severely disappointed if my company didn't help me out during my problems but is trying to ride out a new business on my hard work. All in all even though it is a proud moment for the cast somewhere they must also be feeling bad. The show IPK deserved better and there is no 2 doubts that 4Lions and SP played with it with utmost callousness.

I still feel it could have ... but with a leap - that was a far better option than a second love for Khushi ... SP really shot themselves in the foot on that one. Gul of course had lost interest.

And Sanaya has said now IPK is not IPK without Arnav and Khushi ... there is NEITHER Arnav nor Khushi here ... so I think most people agree with her ... UNLESS it was about Arnav Khushi's daughter or son ...

By the way, no comments about the new girl trying to re-create the chemistry with Barun? Am surprised ... there was quite an outburst when Anuj dared to say the same thing.

Team Members are fine Sarada. Out of the 3 statements 2 has been nothing but good wishes for IPK2. They are professionals. They worked, they got paid for it. SP did business, cast & crew got the fame & recognition to take their career forward. Its even. If the Channel has no right to use their own hit and make it a brand or take the risk to see if it works out. Then the stars do not have the right either to venture into any other medium or Channel.

Like we have said many a times IPK was not just the leads, it was everything together. Even then we agreed that the magic cannot be recreated.

They are coming with season 2 of Pratigya too sans the hero because he had a fall out with the PH and the actress agreed to wait as long as it takes for the show to go on floors. All these second seasons will fill their afternoon slots along with Meri Bhabi if it goes by original plan.

@Bold:- Diya I think you forgot that Shenaz practically was hounded during the filming of the movie. Yes there was quite an outburst when she said that she thinks she can create chemistry with Barun. And she was also sent hate mails. Why are we forgetting how much the PH Mad Midaas was hounded during the film shooting. They came back with an interview of Barun assuring the fans that he indeed was coming back. I don't think Anuj had that severe of an reaction. It is always better to look at the whole picture.

I feel both Barun and Sanaya are paying a price for making IPK such a phenomenal success. Barun was hounded when he tried to do something different - he still is blamed for the show closure though now looking at the way SaraswatiChandra was handled I can say that the channel didn't think through the whole scenario calmly before calling it quits and the show closure is more of a channel decision than his individual quitting. Sanaya was hounded when she started Chanchan so both are actually paying a price for giving such a beautiful jodi.
