Part 29

Jai sat infront of the fire with Bani laying down her head on his lap….they were keeping it a surprise as to what they were havng it didn't matter they thought as long as it was healthy….but the doc had indicated twins weren't identical as she could tell and that meant most likely a girl and a boy…

Bani: looking up…licking her hand…masi had made some nice baigan bharta and she was loving it…….hmm naam kya rhakege?? She aske Jai inbetween busy licking her lips…….she never ate baigan in her entire life but this pregnancy had made her eat things that she never did…..it was amazing……

Jais was far off looking at her and remembering the dinner they had few days ago…..like that little scene at Taj they had the other night when Jai had suggested a dinner out…..since she had been crappy all week…

Looking at the menu…

Bani: mujhe nahi patah what to hve…..mujhe sabhi ache lagrahe hai …but nahi bhi…

The waiter had arrivd the 3rd time as Jai had kept insisting on more time and they had been there for half an hour now…with lemon tea for her and whisky for him….

Jai; Bani darling the waiter is waiting…..they were out of time in the suburbs nxt to Mumbai in one of Mohan's hotels…one of his closest friends and colleague….Jai looked up at the amused waiter and smiled placing his order..

Bani; oh I know..mujhe kofta chahiye…panir….the waiter writing all down and than bAni…nahi nahi…I think woh nahi..mujhe nah yeh clam chowder chahiye…

Jai lifting his gaze…did she say clam chowder..bAni never ate meat and now….but what to do….he smiled

The poor waiter crossing it off and rewriting….

Waiter: anything else mam much to his amusement and irritation…

Bani; nahi bus…umm acha woh garden salad chahiye magar no dressing …but can u add cashew nuts to it please….and …..biting her lower llip as she turned to the last page….

Jai couldn't help feeling sorry for the poor waiter trying hard to hide his smile…..

Jai looking at the waiter indicating ..mate if u ask anything else u will be serving us all night…looked like finally the waiter got it….

Close speculation from people just made them smile…..an elderly couple smiling so lovingly at Jai….he felt so nice to look at the adolation in her eyes….

Bani: aur ha can I have the vanilla capachino and lots of whipped cream…looking up ..thats all handing the menu to the waiter..smiling brilliant like a little girl to Jai

The waiter writing everything else….tightly smiling….: yes maam I will get right to it…sir acknowledging Jai…

Bani: Jai kaha khogaye….

Jai: hmmmmm coming back to reality to the current day…nahi meh bus soch raha tha us poor admi par..u know that waiter…..i swear his never serving a pregnant lady again

Bani: hitting him…oh shut up…I was hungry

Jai: ha n u just had the salad and didn't even touch anything else….

Bani: mera maan nahi hua baadh me…making a face…ur so mean…folding her hands tightly

Jai: acha mera bacha im sorry….lo maine kaan padkri…I wont say it again…I promise…

Bani smiling brightly now…..: toh kaho naam kya rhakege..??

Jai; smiling now…easy…

Bani; sitting up…really kya socha hai tumne….excited now…

Jai: changu mangu…

Bani: kya…hitting him on the shoulder….with a ouch from Jai…mein apne bacho ko mein changu mangu bulaugi….

Jai: kiu nahi…short and simple…grinning wide

Bani: getting up now…meh tumse baath nahi karugi..u are so mean to me

Jai getting up and wrapping his arms around her from the back…pulling her back gently to himself…..….kissing her flushed cheeks and resting his head on her left crook of her neck…….his hand on her belly: im sorry my queen mein toh sirf mazak kar raha tha…..just lightening ur mood up baby!….

Bani: queen??? Smiling and her hands going to his on her belly….

Jai: well when u married me u were my princess but now that my prince and princess are along the way u become the queen automatically right…

Bani: laughing…if u say so…and u the king??

Jai turning her around and looking her….looking at those luscious lips and that full mouth…..those flushed rosy cheeks..that were burning under his gaze right now……: I was always the king his eyes dark hinting to her the hidden emotions in their depths…I don't have to remind you do i…….but if u insist I can show it to you….smiling his cunning smile…

Bani was too smart to not know his implications …4 and half months pregnant now yet it was as it never mattered to Jai…..smiling as her hands went around his neck her little bump touching him……: remind me what…with a mischievious look in her eyes….
Jai: closing down on her…remind you this…his lips locking her into warm and passionate kiss…it was something about being pregnant for BAni…suddenly she felt all warm and fussy inside…..all this feeling of how much she loved him….

RAshi: her hands over her eyes…..knocking the door that was open…maine kuch nahi dheka..smling..promise…magar neeche Dixit aunty ai hai Bani ke liye kuch lyi hai toh usko bularahi hai…upar arahi thi….magar

Jai; Rashi u can look now laughing….sach meh pituga sabhiko..kya galath waqt par ateh hai……as Jai shifted back still holding Bani as she flushed with embarrassement……oh God…maine socha kiu nahi darwaza khula hai…

Rashi; laughing…..toh aunty jee ko bheju ya

Bani: hum arahe hai wiping her lips off the lipstick smudge around her lips…smling

Jai holding her and kissing her head: u go I will go grab a quick shower and join u guys…..

Jai after the shower his senses calm and hormones managing….running down the stairs….what Bani to go to her mums house…but why…listening to the last few lines as he met his mother in law…touching her feet and sitting beside Bani…

Jai: Bani kaha jarahi hai..???

Masi smiling: munna woh hum BAni ki Godh Bharai ki rasam ki baatein kar rahe hai…..2 weeks more and she will be in her 5th month toh samdhan jee usko thore din apne saath lejana chati hai…..phir woh wapas ati hai toh hum uski Godth Bharai yaha se karenge….

Jai: what…okay so when are we going and when is this Godh Bharai??

Masi: munna sirf Bahu jayegi…..Godh Bharai toh satwe mahine meh karenge ….Bani apne maike ek mahine rahe gi ….

BAni: looking at Jai…do something …one month..i will die without u

Jai: ek mahine…..mouth open with a shocked expression on his face…yeh kaisa riwaz hai…usko meri zarurat padegi toh..i mean doc appointment …aur phir ..dawa

Mrs dixit: meh kheyal rhaku gi beta…RAno ki, ki thi nah

Jai looked at Sahil who tapped Jai on his shoulder : I sympathise with you mamaji…..but what to do….agar abhi nahi gayi toh bache ki padayish ke waqt jayegi and u don't want that…trust me

Jai looked from masi to Rano to his mother in law..: no I wont allow it..standing up….agar itne din ko jana hai toh meh saath jauga…

Masi: magar munna…..

Jai: maine kehdiya masi…I am not letting go of Bani for a whole month…he was determined as Rano and Sahil laughed and remembered their time….

Mrs Dixit: yeh toh meri kismet hai meri dono beti ko itna acha ghar mila hai..: theek hai beta ek mahina nahi magar ek hafte toh bhejna hoga

Jai was about to speak when Masi gave him a stern look shutting him up: theek hai samdhan jee……jai ek hafte badh BAni ko pick karlega…

Jai sitting down with a sulking face……this is not fair he said slowly as Bani let go of a chuckle…Jai looking at her on how upset he was and whispering to her: main iske badh tumhe dhekluga Mrs Walia…

Bani blushing and smling knowing how well his going to take revenge from her….sweet revenge…she didn't want to but she winked at him…knowing fully wel that he wont be doing nothing infront of famly there….laughing at the surprise on his face….

As Bani's mum left….Bani couldn't helping eating last of the kachories she had got for her…they were her favourtite and she couldn't stop eating them….along with them were gujia's…nairal ke gujiya

Masi: areh beta samal ke…..laughing at the way she was eating

Bani: smiling sheepishly kya karu masi….teen ke liye kahrahi hu nah……making everyone laugh

As she got up she only was standing for a few seconds whenl Jai lifted her up…

Bani; Jai kya kar rahe ho? Looking around…meh isko kaise samjhau!!

Jai: good night everyone leading her up Bani needs to rest…doctors ke orders….

Bani: magar

Jai: lets go baby!

Bani: shouting now as Masi and Raashi smiled: jai kya kar rahe ho

Jai: don't want stress on ur feet honey….thats all ..but Bani saw the gleam in his eyes that said something else….

Jai tum bhi na. But i can understand you how could you live one month without Bani this would be unfair and very hard. The 2 parts were very great love both of them 😉
