The lead pair of Aashiqui 2, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor, were said to have been dating close on the heels of the film's box office success. Their common friends had confirmed that they were a couple, though sources say neither Shraddha nor Aditya ever explicitly expressed their feelings for each other.

Buzz had it that the duo wanted to maintain a low profile before they are absolutely sure about each other.
Last week, however, Shraddha was spotted with actor Varun Dhawan while dining at a suburban restaurant. "Varun and Shraddha are childhood friends and their respective fathers David Dhawan and Shakti Kapoor have worked together for many years. There really isn't much else to it," says a close source.
The success of his debut film Student Of The Year brought with it a fair share of linkups for Varun. After dating his co-star Aalia Bhatt for a year, word has it that the man is single again. Is his dinner date with Shraddha the beginning of yet another alliance? Only time will tell.

I'm really annoyed with the media and their pathetic stories. These "stories" will make her more cautious and we won't see her at all. She rarely comes out already.

No it won't affect her. There's no reason why she should stop hanging out with her friends just cuz some silly unreliable media is cooking crap out of it.

I don't think she will stop hanging out with her friends, just that she will be more cautious and guarded.
