Random Page 2 ' A peep through the window:

"Paapu, today my friends are coming home for a sleepover" Rimjhim was sitting with Megha doing her homework while Mohan was sitting on the couch with Nanhi and watching news on TV.

"Haan! What is that?" Mohan looked at Nanhi doubtfully to which Nanhi showed a face palm

"I've invited my friends to come home. We will play some games and have fun. Then they will all sleep together in my room"

"What? Don't they have their own home?" Mohan's response put them all to laughter

"Hey Spiderman, sunna!" Nanhi's address made him giggle and he turned towards her

"Haan bolna!" He continued her tease

"This is all their way of staying connected socially. Modern kids, you know!" Nanhi explained seriously

"Whatever!"

Just then a group of boys and girls, of Rimjhim's age rushed into the house. Rimjhim welcomed them and introduced her family

"Paapu, these are my friends"

Mohan leaned towards Nanhi and asked her in her ears "Hey Chavvanni, there are boys too!"

"Haan Spiderman! Rimjhim must be popular among boys too!"

"Arrey yaar! What kind of musibat is this?" Mohan took Rimjhim aside

"Jaan, you can play games, have fun for some time. Then you got to send them home in the night, okay?"

"Arrey Paapu! This is sleepover and they will go back home only tomorrow. That too it's a weekend, so they may stay back for one more night as well!"

"Oh no!" Mohan was completely taken aback by Rimjhim's full-fledged plan

"Oh yes! Look at the bags that they are carrying!" Mohan gave a shocked look at the duffel bag each of the kid carried with them. By then Nanhi and Megha came close to Mohan and Rimjhim

"Megha, I should call their parents and tell them that their kids have run away from their homes"

"Mohan, we all mothers had talked about this already. This way kids get to be independent"

"Are they under some foreign rulers now they are fighting for their independence day?"

"Paapu, they are my friends!" Rimjhim mocked an angry look

"Arrey Jaan, I am your friend too! Come we will play games and have fun! We will all sleep together!"

"Jikki! Please make Paapu understand!" Rimjhim started throwing tantrums

"Sweetie, you go and talk to your friends. Give them something to drink. Nanhi beta, you too help Rimjhim" Megha sent them away

"Di! Look at Paapu!" Rimjhim started complaining to Nanhi

"Arrey Rimjhim, Spiderman is the best paapu! He is just being funny" Nanhi convinced her and took her away from there

Megha took Mohan into their room. After a while when they came back to the living room, they saw the kids dancing and shouting. Guru who was dancing with them as well, looked at a staring Mohan and stopped. Mohan squeezed his eyebrows at a chuckling Nanhi

"Jaan, take your friends to your room and help them settle down" Mohan finally uttered those words with difficulty

"You are the best Paapu!" Rimjhim came running to hug Mohan and she winked at Megha who was standing behind

Mohan looked at the jumping kids and he stared at the boy who called Rimjhim 'Jaanu'! Before he could say anything he was stopped by his phone ring

"Hey Piddi, have you reached Bhopal? Don't come home! There is no place here for you! In fact for me as well. Let us stay in some hotel" Nanhi and Megha were laughing at Mohan who was talking to Addu on the other side. As he walked out of the house to pick up Addu from the bus stand he gave an annoyed look at everyone.

Later in the night, Mohan was walking towards the kitchen looking for Megha. He stopped there near the door hearing Navika's tensed voice inside.

"Mummy, do you think Spiderman will be ok with all this?" Nanhi looked worried

"Isn't he your friend and you know him better, beta?" Megha smiled at Nanhi who was smiling then

"Haan, that's there! And that's why I'm worried for him"

"Meaning?"

"I know how much he had missed me all these years. All his letters for me say that and he had been very upset when I hadn't replied to any of them"

"Nanhi, you need not write letters to him anymore. You are very much here in Bhopal" Megha tried to bring a smile on her

"No Mummy, listen! It's only in these few months after I came to stay with him, he's happy that I am still his same old friend"

"Not just old friend but his best friend as well!" Megha held Nanhi's cheeks and smiled at her

"And will he be okay to share his best friend with another?" Nanhi's eyes were very confused and worried

"By sharing it with Beera, is your love going to reduce for your Spiderman?"

"No, never!"

"That's my dear Nanhi! You have a very big heart and you have always loved your dear ones equally without indifference!" Megha kissed Nanhi on her forehead

"Thank you, Mummy" Nanhi hugged Megha, while Mohan watched them from the door which Megha did not miss to see. Mohan curved his lips and sighed while Megha blinked her eyes slightly assuring him that everything would be alright.

As always Mohan entered Nanhi's room to bid her good night, in the night. He sat next to her who was sleeping peacefully. He smoothed her hair and smiled at her adoringly. He turned to look at the photo on the side table. It was of him with little and grown up Nanhi in a single frame. He took it in his hand and said in a low voice "Chavvanni, I can't believe that you are grown up! I am proud of you as you start your own life, but I will miss you a lot!" He then kissed on her forehead and stood up

"I will miss you too Spiderman!" Nanhi sat up and held his hands like a small kid. They both smiled at each other and made their gesture of chin-touch and hi-five!

The next day morning, Beera and his family visited the Bhatnagars' family officially to talk about the engagement of Nanhi and Beera. Mohan and Beera, though had met earlier casually, found it little uncomfortable in each other's presence. Mohan tried to be friendly hiding all his evaluation mode but it appeared to him that he didn't succeed much.

Mohan was sitting alone while Megha took them to show around the house, Nanhi sat by Mohan's side. She extended her palm with two chocolates, in front of him.

"My teacher once had told me to share things with my friend"

Mohan took one chocolate from her and opened it up. When he was about to put it in his mouth he saw that Nanhi didn't open hers.

"Are you not eating?" She nodded her head as if no

"Saving it for another friend?" Mohan asked her without expecting any answer

He bit his chocolate into two halves and put one half into her mouth. Both of them smiled.

Nanhi then joined Beera and family. She took Beera aside and gave the other chocolate to him.

"Thought of sharing it with my friend" Nanhi told him
