I get your frustration, but the next chapter will clear your doubts. :)

And I didn't mean for to come across that way. Shrey and Khushi didn't go back to normal straightaway. I did not include their conversation because I thought it'll unnecessarily lengthen it. They had met up and in course of that she had ended up telling him all about her past. Even if nothing else, he had known her for long. People change overtime, but still that sense of familiarity lingers somewhere or the other. I hope the next update clears it more.

I was very, very happy to read that scene.. It makes the whole thing so real and special, because visiting the house alone, is the most basic reaction for Khushi.

awww I ve read this update twice n my face has d same expression... cuuutese update ever... mujhe laga nervous Arnav hi itna cuute tha,,, romantic Arnav is tooo sexy guggu😛

wid first half dedicated to our periods I was all cracked up abt how cranky she was...n A man who can understand us in tht stage can live wid us forever...😆he wil have d strength to deal wid any part of us coz that's d worst...😛

the way he fed her buiscuts! hayeee I mean can someone get more cuuter😛 n d girl under d charge of harmones wid al d pain irritation n get lost or ur dead kinda attitude.. I mean kitna sahi emotion pakda hai...😛

also when she says its about us...her promise to never let go him being so dam important to her says everythin abt her emotions for him... it was so rightly put choti... I am loving d ease with which u r writing off late... bahut effortless...

n I am repeating myself but everything abt Arnav in this update is sexy for me... d way he is anxious n scared of loosing her... his care.. protectiveness...tht lil disappointment when not informed... his sense of humour... I am just dyin to know how he wud react for her words... n conclusion is mujhe aisa Arnav chahiye! Bas!!! 😳

This chapter was both lighthearted and romantic.

The chapter started off from where it was left off in the previous chapter. But the problem still persisted even at the end of this chapter.

There is no possible direct explanation behind Khushi's apparent " moronic" behaviour at the beginning. Reasons can only be speculated untill she herself speaks out the reason.

Arnav's vulnerability (all throughout the chapter) , which is raw, potent and intense, is very, very heart-touching. And by your brilliant description, it can be felt.
I just loved how you potrayed his vulnerability in his eyes, his facial expressions, his gesture and in his words. It was so intricately described that no one can miss it, even if they want to.

Khushi, undoubtedly, weaves a mystery by not divulging the reasons of her behaviour. In the party, she ran away and even when Arnav visited her home, she remained tight-lipped about almost everything. Most of her actions remain unexplained. And this is the singular reason, why she comes off as a far more complex character than Arnav.

" She was apprehensive of what this new dimension would do to them and scared of the consequences if things went wrong. "

In this particular line, it is clear that Khushi is scared to jump into a relation, especially after having gone through a failed relationship with Shrey, where ".. things went wrong.". She can't afford to take the same risk with Arnav because their relation is too sacred for that. She just can't lose Arnav because he also happens to be the only link to her childhood. And this is precisely the part of the chapter, where Khushi's hidden vulnerability and insecurity come to the fore, with a full force.

".. At the same time, the ocean of his eyes was calling out to her, endearing her to its depth."
I felt that , at this point, Khushi was caught up in a limbo- she wanted to accept what Arnav told but on the other hand she wasn't ready to stake everything that she holds dear.

I Loved the description where you subtly mentioned that his eyes have got the same ocean-like depth as the meaning of his name. (Arnav= ocean).

" Arnav was furious. Arnav was anxious. Arnav was scared."
I felt that he was furious because Khushi didn't inform him; he was anxious because he didn't have an iota of information about Khushi; and his getting scared stemmed from his inner protectiveness for Khushi.

What a welcome Khushi gave to Arnav when he came to her house! 🤣

Khushi's abnormally rude behaviour only hinted at PMS. But Arnav 'Einstein' Raizada was a bit late to understand the obvious tell-tale signs.

Better late than never! Atleast he understood, or else Khushi had to spell it out loud paving the way for bigger embarrassments! 🤣

The loving, caring and protective Arnav is endearing.

He helped her so much!

I Loved his little, cheeky trick of making Khushi eat the biscuits. It was amusing.

".. She snuggled in closer to him and placed her head on his shoulder. "
This scene screams of domesticity, you know. And I just love, love their comfort level and the effortless flow of affections.

I also liked the scene where Khushi silently asks him to stay with her. It reflects so many emotions.

Arnav went to the kitchen to prepare some dish/es. He is such a sweet guy.
He was hoping for a "yes" from Khushi about the fruit salad. He does make an amazing lover who gives importance even to the trivial things concerning Khushi.

The kiss in the cheek was apparently a spur of the moment for Khushi. But it does mean a lot to Arnav.😉

Arnav didn't waste a moment and asked why she ran away from him, at the party.

Finally, Khushi did the wise thing of breaking up with Shrey. The guy was seriously troublesome.

Arnav had a strange look when Khushi said that she believed he could never fall for her. I guess, he had a strange look because he thought that Khushi's assumption was ridiculous.

I was amazed to read Khushi's honest confession that she would never lie to Arnav. She couldn't inform him about her leave because her conscience came in between.

Arnav is desperate in his Love.
He was determined not to take a "No" for an answer.

I loved the way how he asked whether he doesn't mean anything to her and all of it being punctuated with kisses. His vulnerability was again running naked here. This particular scene shows how Khushi's answer can affect him deeply and also how much she is important to him.

" I'm afraid of losing you."
You know, I've started loving cliff-hangers!

The title was, once again, very apt. Some of the matters of the heart are yet unresolved, though!
