We all love Barun. We are all free to share concerns and criticisms because we all have life experiences and have watched him grow to understand where there is a shortcoming. I don't think anyone has been rude here and I understand that it all comes from deep love.

I believe no one here has doubted his talent.
And showing concern or disappointment is only there when you have set up expectations, like you do for husband, children etc. Doesn't mean you love or care for them any less.

@Riti - you are completely correct, the industry is cutthroat, Barun is not, double edge sword. We love him being down to earth, but bw isn't earth 😆

I have HUGE dreams for him. And that spark, I have seen when he acts and talks about a role. But, I have also seen a man whose fame is being taken advantage of by everyone associated with him, except by the man himself.

He acknowledges out of sight, out of mind. We have every right to be worried. Unconditional love means seeing all the flaws and loving him anyway. Some folks dont like talking about his flaws, others feel secure enough to do it, doesnt mean there is lack of lub.

This FC is for everyone, you are free to express how you feel without judgement of what you write or what type of fan you are.

@all - anyone have any news regarding the rumor that started this finger biting?? Mitali update anything?

@Su - no one was happy with the leaving fiasco, but I am happy Barun decided to leave the show. I feel there was nothing left for him to do as ASR as they were destroying the character he built with the CVs for 18 months. Could things have been different, I am sure. But these are the cards Barun pulled from the deck. Life lessons with heavy prices.

@SSB28 - (is that Paaws?) I don't know why but I have been restricted to once every 24 hours on his profile. I think people don't comment as much because summer holidays are on as well.

Barun Sobti...this is the phase and age to make the most of it...not to take loongish breaks and complain about health and spending time with family! Families support and be with you while you work!

I feel I can write my heart out here,,,,I have always Supported him, I dont know what the real problem is, but I am losing hope with MAMR and 22 yds,,,although I had expectations from Mitali,,,,not any more,,coz a film that is delayed with the shoot itself,,I wonder whats gonna happen in the process!

ALL I WISH IS BARUN GETS the BEST . Because this man is worth all the success! When I see every one every where,,doing reality shows along with regular shows,,,or hosting awards or shows,,I wonder what is he doing,,Meet and greets,,,,where phangurls go gaga over him bas! I so hope a sudden big project is announced and he starts up with that,,I dont care even if he does a good meaty character role, if not Lead!

@underline - that is the root of all fan angst and frustration.

@red - I will dance and I am hoping hoping hoping something happens here because he freaking deserves it because of his talent.

You know Zoha, sometimes Barun actually reads the FC (in my head he does) because last time we expressed concerns about his quiet future, he came to People Meet and Greet and said there was a lot in the pipeline. So who knows. 😆😉

@bold and underlined- Thats what worries me the most...he doesnt take advantage of his fame... while all others do... Attention makes him nervous but in this iindustry..you have to seek attention at times too... as you said he is very down to earth but bw isnt earth...

But lets see.. its too early to judge what his plan of Action is.. Too much may not be out... thus the fact that he does have things in pipeline which are on stage of finalisin do tell that he has been trying..and was indeed talking when he said talking😃

It's a bit late, but I'd like to bring up a few points here. (sorry in advance for this essay. oh the things sobti makes me do 😆)

1) I think, a huge reason that the comments on Barun's profile have gone down is not simply the fact that he is losing fans, but the fact that there is nothing to COMMENT ON. There are only so many times an individual can visit IF to say "Barun, I love you! I support you!". After a while, commenting on a website for an actor who has nothing new being released can become tedious. IF is great for shows on air, because people can dissect every single scene that is released on a daily basis. BUT, when you can only discuss "happy go lucky wannabe model actor" for months on end, IF just does not seem as attractive a forum. I don't think the comments are an extremely accurate indication of his popularity, and neither is IF in general. We all know how many people left the forum after the fiasco.

2) I don't agree that he doesn't work hard. He wouldn't be here is he wasn't a hard worker. Coming from Swayam and becoming Arnav is no walk in the park. BUT, he may not take the initiatives to be as professional as he should be. A professional manager, a professional production house, a professional way to connect with his global audience, etc. He underestimates himself and what he can achieve, and THAT is what aggravates his fans-- because they only want to see him grow and move upwards. He needs to take time to think out what he says yes to. Spending time with family is fine, and from what I can see, it doesn't hinder in his work: he shoots, does workshops, and does what his managers tell him to do. I mean, balancing MAMR and IPK is a huge deal... and he did it. The issue is, that he should have substantial work to start with--shoots consistently delayed and M&Gs to replace them is not the solution! THAT is the issue.

3) His quitting IPK... I, personally, loved Barun firstly for giving me Arnav Singh Raizada, so I'd never "want" Barun to quit the show, per say. BUT since he says he did it for personal and health reasons, I totally and whole heartedly supported him. A fool wouldn't agree that his health had taken a toss in the final months of the show, and meeting him gave me a first hand experience of how sick he really was. He looks SO much healthier now, and as a fan, I understand that health does and should come first. Film or no film in hand, he needed to tender to his own needs first. BUT now that he's healthy and rested, I'd like to see some very intelligent film or even TV choices being executed, since he cannot return as Arnav from IPK anytime soon. I am not biased towards either medium, as long as his work has substance and is executed as well as or better than IPK once was.

4) We all love him. We all support him. Or else we wouldn't be here typing out essays in the first place. There is no right or wrong way to love him. Of course we can be disappointed with the ones we love, but only because we want them to do the best they possibly can. I do hope the next project Barun signs is from a relatively bigger PH. He's made mistakes, but life's a learning process. I hope MAMR and 22 Yards get a great reception and that his new films get an ever BETTER and BIGGER reception! Love you Barun.

@zitni - that was not very long😆.. well about commenting thing- I think we are still doing well inspite of no show from barun from 6 months...and i second that IF is really not a measure of popularity.. for rest of things- I second the same.. I do hope we get some good news from a known and good banner soon...
