When Khushi wake up in the morning, she found the room empty. Panicked, she thought if he was still angry with her but suddenly her eyes fell on the other side of the bed. A beautiful red and pink anarkali dress is placed with a parchment on top of it. She took the note and read;

"I am sorry I have an important video conference, I will wait for you and Adeep in evening and Red color looks good on you" a smile automatically crept on her lips

Her morning cannot be better than this. Humming her favorite song she got up and moved to the bathroom

She takes Adeep with her and went to his office.

"Excuse me can you tell Arnav jee we are here?" She asked receptionist, though she knew his office but she does not want to disturb him in any way

"Sorry M'am but Sir is right now busy in meeting" Receptionist replied with a stern face to which Khushi smiled and muttered a 'thank you' before taking Adeep's hand and sitting in waiting area

She was feeling angry at him, if he was busy he should have told them about it, but now she has to wait for him here under the stupid and suspicious gazes of his office staff who were glaring her like she was some alien

After almost half an hour wait, she saw Arnav coming downstairs and immediately she ran to him forgeeting that she was angry at him just few moments ago

"Arnav Jee" She called out and he who was talking to his manager turned his face to her

"Khushi when did you guys come? and why did not you informed me?" Coming to her he held her and questioned her

"Woh … actually I asked your receptionist to inform you but she said that you were busy so I and Adee ….." He didn't let her finish, furiously he turned to the receptionist

"Why the hell you didn't inform me that my wife is here?" He shouted making the poor receptionist tremble with fear

"Sir … y … you … aa …aq sked … not … to …." Stuttering the girl tried to explain but he was in no mood to listen

"Next time find another job for you before doing this mistake" He said coldly, turning to Khushi he take her hand and the other holding Adeep, and made the way outside the office

Khushi was staring his back slightly afraid of his sudden anger as she did not witness it till today,

They were now sitting in the restaurant and Khushi was surprised to see the normal behavior of him now. He was chatting with Adeep lightly and in between when he asked something from her two or three times, she coukd not answer as she was bothered by his anger

"Right Khushi?" He turned to her again and like before she shook her head

"Haan"

"Khushi" He pressed her hand, "where are you lost? Are you ok?" Arnav asked concerned and she could not even smile

"Yes Aani, are you sick?" Adeep too asked and she not having any other option tell the reason

"M .. main … I ….." As she started Arnav pressing her hand nodded asking her to continue, "Wh … why were you … I mean the way you behaved in office …. You were angry and ……….." Before she could finish Arnav burst in laughter and she confusingly looked at him

"Why are you laughing?"

"Khushi, I was not angry at you ok, she did mistake so I just scolded her"

"Yes, but it was not a big issue"

"It is a big issue, everything related to my family is a big issue" He stressed is

Khushi was dazed, how could she think wrong of him when he cared so much about his familys

"Is that ok now?" He asked and nodding Khushi smiled

They were enjoying the dinner when someone called her from behind,

"Hi Khushi" Hearing this cheerful voice Arnav goes stiff, placing the spoon back in plate he clenched his fists

"Hi Taani" Turning her face she smiled although she was hating the fact that she ever trusted Taani, She was with her new husband

"Hi Adeep, Hi Arnav"

Arnav closed his eyes to calm his nerves and Khushi very well knew what he was going through

"Adeep, Khushi are you guys done with the dinner?" Arnav asked with the stern face and Khushi could see him again getting angry for the second time this day,

"No Buddy"

"Taani feeling ignored and a little insulted covering her face with smile bid them bye

"I think I disturbed you guys, y …."

'Yes you did, now don't test my patience and leave" Arnav shot his angry glare to her

"Of course, you guys carry on" Taani left from there

Khushi could see Arnav does not touched the food again, if he was sitting here it was only because of Adeep as he was young and cannot understand what their elders are going through

"Ar … Arnav jee … can …. Can we have ice cream?" Fearfully Khushi dared to ask her and the next moment she regretted asking this question as his red eyes pierced in her heart

"Yes buddy, I'm done, a chocolate chip for me" Adeep too intruded and Arnav still glaring Khushi angrily called the waiter

She knew this time his anger will not go soon because Taani reminded him of the betrayal he'd faced, She can only pray for good and that's what she did

Reaching home as soon Adeep went to his room, Arnav dragged Khushi to their room. Locking the door he pinned her to the nearby wall, caging her by placing his hands on her either sides

Khushi was not getting him, Is he going to shout at her?

"Ar …" She gulped in fear as she sensed him an inch close to her, his red eyes, his flaring nostrils, creases on his forehead

He could see the fear clearly visible on her face and it somehow melted him and reduced his anger a bit

He cupped her face and she could sense his hot breath near her lips, she tried to move away her face but he held it and looking directly into her eyes when he spoke her face turned red with shyness

"Don't stop me tonight Khushi"
