I noticed Aarya's room has been re-vamped. It seems to be the room of Raj's parents now. Ufff it's too heartbreaking to see them using SM again. Thank God I don't have to watch it from tomorrow onwards.

I just finished watching the episode and if this is the end, I'm fine with this.

I know that the final conversation that Yash-Aarti had was about the PV2 people and that might not sit well with a lot of people. But the way I'm looking at it is...if we look at PV as a story of Yash-Aarti's life together, of which we merely caught a glimpse for these past 15 months, this conversation becomes just another natural, ordinary conversation in their life, because in the world that they inhabit, "the PV2 people" are real people whom they have encountered, just like we come across people in our lives, become part of their lives for a little while, and then go on our way. Similarly Yash and Aarti's conversation takes on the form of a "this is what happened today..." story; it's just one more thing that they're sharing with each other and wondering about.

Sure, it's hard to forget that channel politics transpired behind the scenes of the fictional show and I'm not going to ignore that aspect of it...but I'm not super angry about the way the episode ended today, either, because I'm looking at it more from a within-the-narrative perspective. Yash and Aarti will continue to walk their path together, and we have that assurance.

I absolutely loved the Yash-Aarti phone conversation, Aarti's performance, and the final scene in their room (yes, conversation and all). When the female vocalist joined the male vocalist for a final duet of Yeh Dil Hai, I felt so, so happy...Just knowing that Yash and Aarti are at peace together is enough for me.

Edited: It's been a wonderful journey with all of you, fellow viewers. Take care!

ITA Borna
Yash and Aarti are very giving persons. Their happiness is not complete without thinking about the happiness of others. So their talking about the PV2 story just seemed to fall in place. And the fact that they ended their convo with Yash saying "whatever happens, happens for the best" is really a tag line of their own story.
They have learned to be at peace with themselves and the world around them.
IMO despite it all - the CVs gave a good closure. All need not be tied neatly because life is a continuation with some loose strings always hanging out here, there -- almost everywhere!

Hey, Meena.

I added in a few more words about the nature of their conversation in my original post...And yes, to me, the conversation did naturally fall into place because of the fact that they were sharing stories and because, as you said, they were naturally inclined to think about what would happen to those people that they met that day. Those young people's stories were left on cliffhangers for Yash and Aarti as well as for us...Yash and Aarti will go on their way together, and viewers will have the choice to go their separate ways if they'd like, too.

@bold: Wonderfully said! I loved the way Yash ended with that line - it is something optimistic, reassuring, and Yash speaks from personal experience now, too.

GC looks so cute when he is naughty, he is the only actor I saw on TV who can carry hot and cute factors at the same time, felt like pulling his cheek in that phone conversation's scene...

Kratika looked so beautiful in the dance sequence...She dances very well...

The Closure

'It time to pull-in the ropes' said Zee

'No' said the PH, 'there is much story to tell'

'Ah', said Zee 'do you not see the flailing TRP?'

'We will economize' said the PH

'We will leave the many and hold the few

Viewers that do get charmed with depth'

'No more! No more invent' said Zee

And so the PH threw in this and that

Maniacal Ishita was back

In spite of this entire furor

The beauty of AarYa was galore

For GC and KS breathed life to the story of love and tears

And brought blissful closure to the journey my dears!

Meena both of your poems are beautiful!

Sadiie that vm mix is so sweet. I'm going to miss that sing so much along with AarYa 🥺!

So this is the end. Not the ending we wanted but better than nothing. I'm content, a little. I'll just have to get used to the fact that I can't look forward to PV, KS and GC anymore!
