Fight Your Way To Love!

Chapter 1: Defining Love

"This marriage cannot happen."

Khushi stared in Arnav's direction, panic and worry evident in her eyes before turning to the person who had uttered those words.

Arnav stared at their family angrily, who had all of a sudden gone against their marriage.

"What the hell? Why can't this marriage happen?"

Arnav barked to his Nani, Khushi's Bua ji and others. Khushi held Arnav's arm, trying to calm him down with her presence and support.

"Yes Nani, What happened? You both called us here in a hurry and now this. Why can't they marry?"

Anjali butted in, confused at the whole scenario and so were the others. But before either Nani or Bua ji could explain, Shyaam spoke before them.

"And that is because they are crossing their limit before their marriage. They should maintain some distance, at least before marriage. It is against our tradition and belief."

"Oh! Shut up, Shyaam. These words, doesn't suit your mouth. Khushi is going to be my wife in few days and we can do whatever we feel like. No one can stop us."

The crowd silenced with Arnav's no nonsense tone. He was straight and crisp with his words that could shut everyone up. His anger and hatred for Shyaam, his own brother-in-law confused everyone.

Anjali had gaped in horror as Arnav had spoken the words for her husband in front of both their families.

"But you both cannot get so close before marriage. Wait till you are married. We heard two of the guests talking about how you both got very close last night in the car."

Bua ji's straight forward words stumped all. But before the situation could get worse, Khushi decided to clear the air out.

"Bua ji, nothing happened between us last night. I will do anything that hurts you all. Trust me, Amna. We have not done anything. Arnav ji say them the truth, please."

Khushi's plea enraged Arnav to no end and the thin like of self control broke. And Arnav Singh Raizada pulled Khushi by her waist to himself.

"We don't have prove anything to anyone. Let them think whatever they want. The fact is our family doesn't trust us, and specially Khushi."

Arnav spoke bitterly, taunting to them for her lack of trust at least on Khushi who is supposedly traditional.

"It's nothing like that. Don't feel that way."

Bua ji immediately cleared the air. And Nani too could help but support her, reflexively.

"Yes, we didn't mean it that way. We are sorry."

"So, I think now we are free to do whatever we want."

Arnav spoke triumphantly, having solved the problem but his sister's words broke all his thoughts.

"No, not till your marriage. Till then, no romance for you two."

At this Khushi giggled at once again and his heart was at peace. To be honest, it did sound kind of weird to Arnav about not having romance, as if no one did.

But before he could think more about how ridiculous the situation was, Anjali came between Arnav and Khushi and slowly whispered.

"You can hide and romance. No one will know. Anyways, everyone does that. Don't worry, I'm with you."

Khushi let out a shocked gasp at her words while Arnav smirked. As the realization struck Khushi, she blushed a crimson red which intensified when she felt a soft caress of Arnav's soft lips on her cheek.And this time not just her but the entire folk around them gasped in surprise.

"Nothing can be done to these two." Buaji walked away muttering under her breadth.

"I said behind our backs and not in front of us. Whatever." Anjali walked away, clutching her chain to herself.

"Khushi, I and Akash are with you."

"After all, you both helped us during our marriage. All the Best, Bhai."

Payal and Akash walked away, smiling mischievously and talking among themselves.

"God bless you both, And be careful in case Nani ji or Jiji caught you." Khushi's mother blessed them before walking away with the wheel chair, carrying away Khushi's father.

And then the last person left was the Shyaam who soon scurried away from the couple who were kissing each other passionately now, unable to see them that way.

Arnav and Khushi kissed each other like there was no tomorrow once again. They had miserably missed the other after completely 18 hours. It was their Sangeet night at present.

And they were now kissing each other, after a sizzling dance, which Arnav made sure to take full advantage of.

Khushi hadn't even thought of slightly resisting to his touch when his fingers which held their engagement ring, move inside the wide expanse of her waist behind the saree while dancing.

She had neither resisted him when he had left butterfly kisses all over her neck nor when he marked her as his with a now reddened love bite.

After the dance, when the lights had deemed, Arnav had pulled her to the backstage and his ministrations had began then.

Khushi smiled at his restlessness and urgency as he plunged his tongue in to her soft and warm mouth, playing and dancing with hers. Arnav stepped away from Khushi and turned her as lights came back before kissing her all over again.

Khushi moaned when Arnav kissed the sensitive spot behind her neck. She felt pleasure and ecstasy flow all over her body, right from the tip of her longest hair to her toe nails as he marked her yet again. His tongue came out to sooth the bite, easing the pain away.

"I missed you, Arnav."

And the next second, Arnav's lips came crashing down to hers. Khushi responded back with equal fervour. She had indeed missed him a lot. His touch, his caress and specially his kiss.

Arnav quickly pulled back, leaving her whining and pouting for more. He pulled her behind the door at the corner of the room.

"Nani is outside."

Arnav murmured in her ear before biting her earlobe.

"Oh! Sorry, Arnav!"

Khushi confessed scared at him, pouting all the while. Arnav licked her pouted lip before asking her the reason behind her apology.

"My Mehendi got smudged in your palm."

Arnav immediately looked down at her palm to see the evident of their passion.

"It's a part of the ritual, Khushi. I don't mind anything that is related to you."

Khushi's eyes welled up when she heard his words. It was true that her Arnav was a changed man who loved and cherished her. And she could not ask for anything more from him.

Khushi bit her lips, trying to evade the moan as Arnav's Haldi smudged cheek colored her.

"Our marriage day has finally come. We will be declared husband and wife tonight."

Khushi announced on their Haldi Function that morning and Arnav could only smile tenderly at her innocence. If only, it was the truth. If only, he could believe her.

His thoughts were broken when Khushi stood up jerking the cloth on his shoulder. He stood up on his feet and smiled back at her.

They took the seven rounds around the fire, the first five was led by him and the other three by her. And when her forehead was filled with the red vermilion by him, a silent tear had made its way down her cheeks. But when he had tied the scared chain of black beads around her neck, she had smiled brightly up at him.

The rituals were done and they were declared as the man and wife.

Khushi beamed at Arnav after the rituals were done but he did not reciprocate it back, his face devoid of any emotion.

"We are finally free to romance, right Arnav."

Khushi's naughty words pierced through his heart and without a reply, he made his way out of the Shantivan, shocking not just her but their families as well as the guests present there too.
