Chapter 19:

"Kria, I'm back. I got all the stuff you wanted." Sharon said, coming into Kria's room. "Oh, thanks babe. But why so late? What happened?" Kria asked. "Flat tyre. I didn't have a spare tyre too. I should really check before going out next time." Sharon said. "Oh, then you could have just told me. I would have come picked you up." Kria said. "Kria, my bhabhi. You are not going anywhere,do you get that? Any work, you tell me. I'll do it." Sharon said. "No..Not bhabhi again. Fine. I'll take complete rest kay? Happy?" Kria asked. "I'm satisfied now." Sharon said. Sharon and Kria talked for a while and then Sharon went home at night after having dinner.

In the morning, when she woke up, it was freaking late. She jumped out of bed, finished brushing, showering etc. "Oh, no time to do the hair!!" Sharon said, looking at herself in the mirror and putting her hair into a messy bun, took her bag,phone and saw that there were 5 missed calls from Lily. Sharon didn't have her car, so she had asked lilly to pick her up. "She's gonna kill me!" Sharon said to herself, and then locked the door behind her. She dialed Lily's number. "Hello, Lil. I'm so sorry. I'll come downstairs in a minute." Sharon said, and hung up. Sharon pressed the elevator button but it was still on the 25^th floor and she was in the 15^th floor. "Oh god!! This thing had to be so slow today!" Sharon cursed the elevator and ran down the stairs. She went as fast as she could, but in the last step, she slipped. She slipped and fell and rolled down two flights of stairs. "Owww!!!" Sharon screamed. She felt a lot of pain in her right ankle and elbow. She tried to get up but she failed. Luckily, she had her bag with her. She took her phone, dialed lilly's number again. "Heyy!! Can you please come in!! I fell off the stairs!!" Sharon said,wincing a little because of the pain. "OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be thereee right away!!" Lily said, getting out of the car and running into the apartment. She saw Sharon and freaked out. She bent down and helped Sharon get up and somehow helped her till the car. "I'm taking you to the hospital now. Who asked you to come in such a hurry??" Lily screamed. "Okay okay I know. I shouldn't have. But you were waiting here for so long, I didn't want to keep you waiting more." Sharon said. "And look what happened. You know I won't tell anything if you come late. Plus its vacation in school. So I don't have to go to teach the kids too." Lily said. "Okay, I'm sorry." Sharon said, bearing the pain. "Sorry itseems. I don't have any problem. It's you in pain." Lily said. They reached the hospital. Sharon thought it was a sprain but the doctor said that it was a fracture. She had fractured her right arm and leg. "Avoid walking for a few days. Just stay in bed. If you want to walk, use the crutches. And please see be careful when your running down the stairs next time." The doctor said. "Yes Doctor Sullivan." Sharon said. Sharon limped with the crutches and finally Lily dropped her home. "It's already time for Lunch. What do you want? I'll make something for you." Lily said. "Lil. Thanks, but I had breakfast late. So I don't want anything. You have to go to the friends get together today at Rey and Kria's right? You'll be late for that. So you better go." Sharon said. "I'm not leaving you like this and going." Lily said. "Lil, I'll be fine. If I want anything, I promise I'll call you. Please don't miss the hang out." Sharon said. After a lot of convincing that Sharon is fine,Lily finally went to Kria's house.

"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late!" Lily said, as she sat down on the couch beside Kria. She smiled at all of them. It was just the regular gang but still. She waved at Swayam. "Hey where's Sharon?" Kria asked. "Yea, about that. She fell down the stairs and fractured her arm and leg. So she's not allowed to move." Lily said. "WHATT??????" Rey, Kria and Swayam asked in unison. Lily jumped back a little. "Oh god!! Stop scaring me. I told her that I would just stay there and take care of her. But she said that I had to go to the hang out." Lily said. "I'm gonna call her and question her right now!" Kria said. She dialed Sharon's number and put it on speaker. After a while Sharon picked up. "Hey Kria. How's it going? Missing me?" Sharon asked. "OH! GIRL!! IF I WERE NEXT TO YOU NOW, I WOULD HAVE KILLED YOU!!!" Kria said. "Okay, I think Lily told you about the fracture. Lily, wait till you come home!!" Sharon said. "That means you weren't planning on telling me!!!! I hate you! You call me family and then you don't tell me. You could've called me.I would have come there to take you to the hospital." Kria said. "Hey, Lil was already waiting for me in the car. But Lily, I still hate you. You could have made up some excuse." Lily said. "Sorry Sharon, one lie leads to another." Lily said. "I'm gonna come take care of you. Okay!!" Kria said. "Kriaaa, no your not. You are asked to take complete rest, you idiot." Sharon said. "I'm not gonna listen to you. You don't have to say anything. I'm just going to come there and take care of you till you get better." Kria said. "Kria, please listen to me. Please. You have to take care of not only you, but also your baby. Please don't risk anything." Sharon said. "Omg!! You always manage to convince me. I hate you for that." Kria said. "I know you can never hate me sis." Sharon said. "Shar, I'll come take care of you." Rey said. "Are you a nut Rey? Don't get me going again. You know you have a lot of responsibilities now. You have to take care of Kria too. And you'll be very tired after your business meetings. No Rey. You won't come here to take care of me. Lily is there to take care of me na,chill." Sharon said. "Sharon, get well soon girl." Preetha said, and that's all she said. All of them looked at her like she was crazy,specially Swayam. Kria and Rey started arguing with Sharon again. Swayam got up, pulled Lily to the corner. "WHAT?" Lily asked. "You don't have to worry. I'll take care of her." Swayam said. "Are you mad?" Lily asked. "Yea I am. Listen I know you have so much to do. Please just let me take care of her." Swayam said. "She's not going to be happy seeing you there." Lily said. "I don't care about her happiness for now. Only her health matters to me." Swayam said. "Swayam, don't do this. She's gonna do something to herself if she sees you there. You know how aggressive she gets." Lily said. "It's fine. I'll manage. Don't tell her that I'm going there." Swayam said. "I'm telling you that she's not gonna be happy when she sees you there. And then she'll scream at me." Lily said. "LILY!!! I DON't CARE WHETHER SHE'S HAPPY SEEING ME OR NOT!!!!!!! I'M GONNA BE WITH HER TILL SHE GETS BETTER AND THAT'S FINAL!!!" Swayam said. "FINE. Do whatever you want. But why are you so worried about her? You don't care right? About her?" Lily asked. "I don't care. But she needs someone to take care of her. So I'm gonna do it." Swayam said. "If you don't care, why aren't you letting me take care of her?" Lily asked. "Because I'm mad, Like you said." Swayam said. "You are really MAD! I think you escaped from the mental hospital!" Lily said. "Sure I did. But I miss that place you know. They used to have really good chocolates and I, being mental, just stole them from the counter."Swayam said. "Omg!!! There's still some of that old Swayam in you!!!" Lily said, and chuckled. "Yea there is.Let's go Lil. The others are going to wonder where we went."Swayam said, putting his arm around Lily in a friendly way and walking back to the room. "Okay, so I'm gonna take care of her,people." Swayam said. "Swayam you?" Rey asked. "Yeaa! ME!!" Swayam said. "That's gonna be so awesome!!" Preetha said. "A best friend taking care of his best friend!!" Preetha said. "Yea…" Swayam said,even though he knew that his heart could never see Sharon as his best friend, or friend for that matter. After a while, all of them went home.

Swayam went and stood in front of Sharon's door. Lily had told Swayam that she had locked the door from outside. Swayam knew exactly where the key was, because he used to surprise Sharon a lot when she came home from work and he used to wait for her. He bent down, lifted the door mat took the key, opened the door, put the key back in its place and went in. Sharon heard the door opening. She was sitting on the bed and just randomly chatting with her friends. "Lil, Are you home already??" Sharon asked. "It's me." Swayam said. Sharon looked up, with a surprised look on her face. "Swayam? What are you doing here? Where's lily?" she asked. Swayam went and sat next to her. Somehow he felt that he was the reason that she got a fracture. When they were together, he always used to come see her before she went to work. "Swayam what are you doing here?" Sharon asked again. "Shar, I'm gonna stay here and take care of you." Swayam said. "You are gonna what??" Sharon asked,shocked. "Take care of you. I pestered lily and told her that I'll take care of you. And I don't want to hear anything from you. I'm gonna stay here till you get better." Swayam said. "Please, Swayam. Don't do this to me. I can't.." Sharon started, but the look that Swayam gave her stopped her from proceeding. That look of pure love. The look which only Sharon knew. "Swayam.." Sharon managed. "Sharon, please. Let me. I promise I'll take good care of you." Swayam said. "Don't do this to me, Swayam. I can't. I just can't control myself when you're near me." Sharon blurted out. She never meant to say that. She didn't want to show her weakness. "Shar, don't worry. Everything will be fine. Trust me." Swayam said, taking her left hand and holding it. Sharon gave a small smile. Their eyes locked. Suddenly they came out of their trance and Swayam went back to his normal mode.

"So I'm going to make you dinner now! What do you want?" Swayam asked. "I'm not hungry Swayam." Sharon said. "Shut up. You are eating. And I'll make dinner. Just tell me what you want." Swayam said. "No, your not making dinner. We'll just order food. Don't put yourself through so much trouble." Sharon said. "No, I don't have any trouble in making food for my girl." Swayam said, not realizing that he had just called her his girl. "Your girl??Your sense of humour I'm telling you." Sharon said, even though she was having butterflies in her stomach. Before Sharon could say anything else, Swayam ran into sharon's kitchen. She heard vessels falling and the aroma but she couldn't guess what he was making. Sharon smiled and wished that things could go back to how it was.Her thoughts were interrupted by Swayam.

He came into the room with a place. "Ms.Sharon Singhania, here is your dinner." Swayam said, keeping the plate in front of her. Sharon had a smile on her face, and also tears when she saw what he had made. He had made her favorite pasta, with cheese. "Your favorite dish. I know it's not gonna be as good as the one in Italian Corner or the one which you make in your parent's house but I assure you it's edible." Swayam said. "Swayam, you remembered?" Sharon asked, tears ready to fall out of her eyes. She wiped the tears away. Swayam came and sat next to her again. He had brought one plate for himself too. "Sharon, somehow I can never forget things related to you." Swayam said. He didn't know what came over him. He was blurting out a lot today. He changed the subject. "So are you gonna eat or not?" Swayam asked. Sharon had to eat with her left hand. She put the fork and tried eating with her left hand, but it was hard. Swayam saw this and smirked. "Sharon, Sharon!! Wait." Swayam said. He took the plate near her and fed her. Sharon was lost. She lost control of herself. "Sharon, how is it? Hello?? Shar!! How is it?" Swayam said. "Hot…." Sharon said, in this very seductive way. Swayam had a confused expression on his face. Sharon came back to earth. "I mean, it's really hot! Almost burnt my tongue. But it's delicious, I must say." Sharon said. They had dinner and then watched TV for sometime, not talking about anything. In the middle of watching TV,Sharon went off to sleep. Swayam saw this, got up from the couch, switched off the tv,pulled the blanket over Sharon and then switched off the bedside lamp. Then he went and slept on the couch,not thinking about the next day.

Sooo i know im updating after ages..but i really don't have time at all. My schedule is really packed, and instead of doing homework i typed this chapter because i've been wanting to type this for a long time.
