CHAPTER 3

As per schedule I drove towards college n parked in my parking place n saw Arjun n Maya waiting for me.
"Hey"! - I said to both.
"Hey"! So enjoyed last night"! - Maya said.
"Ummm"! Yea! Very much"! Like an action movie"! - I said laughing.
"LOL! :P I wish I was there"!
"Hmm"! U missed that"! - I said n looked here n there.
"She'll be late"! She had some work"! N after that she'll be practicing"! - she said almost teasing me.
"Naa"! No"! I was just looking foe Raj"! Bechara"! - I said laughing.
"U Think he'll will come after what had happened with him"! - Arjun said n we all laughed n moved towards our classes. proff. Paul was teaching was "Central Problems Of The economy". It was 2 hours lecture but he was called by Princy. I was at the enterance of the class m suddenly my eyes fell on the croud near bulletin board n I moved towards that n saw Arjun coming towards me with a piece of paper.
"Hey"! Virat"! Check this out"!
"What's this"? - I asked him
"Dude"! There's a dance drama after 2 months. Every college got a theme n we got a "Parents role in a child's life"! A dance drama"! N the need a voice for the song"! - he said looking at me.
"Okay"! N wait i gave ur cd to Miss Ray"! -He said
"Wait"? U gave mh cds to Miss RAy"?
"Yea! N go for it"! Dude"! Just think about ur career"!
"What if she don't like them"?
"She will"! Dont worry"! - he said tapping his hand on my shoulder.
We got a time for 1:30 to meet Miss Ray"! But i moved at 1:45. I was late because of Arjun. I entered the auditorium but i felt it empty but heard some music n i moved towards the stage n saw Manvi practicing n i stood there watching her dance. I never thought I would say this but she looks hot. I chuckled over my words but hot toh aloo ka paratha b hota h! I moved towards the stage. As she moved towards her bag n grab a water bottle n pour some water on her face n then gulped.
"Hey"! - i said n she turned towards me giving a confused expression.
"Heya"! U ere"? - she asked me.
"oh"! Actually Miss Ray called me for the voice foe the next dance drama"!
"Ohuu"! So U sing"?
"Umm"! Yea!
"But our dance doesn't have any song"! I mean its just a beat n music"! - she said n i think she's unaware about the new notice.
"N yea! U R early"! Its my time"! - she said smiling.
"Ohh"! M sorry"! U didnt red the notice"?
"Umm"! No"! - she said opening her hairs n brushing then with her hand.
"Its about the Theme giving to our college"! Read this"! N i think U R the lead"! If m not wrong"!
"Ummm"! Yea! Its me"! - she said n looked at the paper like something's wrong.
"Participants k patents are also invited for this"! As this is dedicated to parents"! My Mom isn't able to come"! But U live here"! So ur parents much be coming"? - i said but she didnt replied.
"Manvi"? Are U with me"? - i asked her.
"emm"! Talk to U later"! I need to go now"! - she said n packed her bags n get down from the stage.
"Hey"! Listen"! - i said but she didnt stopped n moved out. I ignored n it was 2 n everyone arrived. Miss Ray decided to start my practice with college's band n I'll start my work on composition. It was 4 n everyone left Auditorium n i was about to leave.
"Opss"! I left my jacket backstage. N i moved back but i stopped when i saw manvi talking to Miss Ray n Miss Ray seems shocked. I stood there n listened to there convo.

"Miss Ray"! M really sorry"! But its my personal reason n i don't want to share it"! I cant"!
"But manvi"! Ur name is send to the federation"! Why don't U understand"?
"Ma'am"! I know its difficult but i cant participate"! I quit"! - she said n moved towards the stage n her eyes fell on me n moved towards my jacket n held that. Without giving a second glance i moved out. I don't know why i taking so much interest in her being or not being in competition but what happened to her suddenly. Then i saw her walking really fast towards her car.
"Hey"! Listen"! Manvi"! - i said n she stopped.
"Why"? U quit the competition"! I mean u r the lead"! - i said n she turned.
"Can u stop stalking me"? What's ur problem"? Huhhnn"? What"? Its my decision! N who the hell are u to listen my talks or giving me advises"? I thought u r a nice guy but the way u r chasing me everywhere"! U r spoiling ur image"!
"Hey"! M just asking friendly"!
"Friendly"? M not ur friend.! Okay"! Just GET LOST"! - she said n left me in a mixed situation. I don't know what was reason behind this but how dare she talked to me like this. I think my assumption were correct"! She is "Weird"! I ignored n walked towards my car. N saw Maya standing there.

"Hey"! Maya"? U alone here"?
"Ummm"! Actually"! Arjun left in break n manvi forget to take me"! I always come with her"! But don't know why she forget me today"!
"If u dont mind"! I'll drop u"!
"Ummm"! Thanks"! -she said n sat in my car.
"Hey"! U were there will manvi na"? What happened"?
"Ummm"! Yea! But I really dont know what happened"! But she was acting weird"! - I said looking the road.
"What U said"? - she asked me in a lense tone.
"ummm"! Nothing I Just told her about the theme of dance drama"! N she quit her role"!
"WHAT? What was the theme"?
"Umm"! About parents !! When i asked her that her parents are coming or not..! She left without even giving answer"! - i said casually.
"Ummm"! Ohh"! I m sorry if she behaved rude"! But i know why she did so"! Good for er"!
"I dont know what's her problem but she is weird !!
"I know the reason"! - she said n she seems lost. I didn't asked her anything coz I dont think its good. She said correct its just 1 week n m crossing my limits.

MANVI'S POV

I drove back home n ran upstairs in my room n jumped upto the bed hiding my face in pillows. I dont want to show my weakness to anyone. I don't want anyone to see me like this. I was helpless coz it was like someone hit on the painful wound i got in my life. N left it green. I heard someone knocking my door but i didn't opened that.

"Please LEAVE ME ALONE"! I DONT WANT ANYONE"! - i screamed out n nany stopped knocking n left. I wake up n took a hot water shower. It was 6 now n I took my car Keys n drove towards central park n parked my car n went inside the park in my place near the lake n sat there waiting for the night. N suddenly my phone rang.
"Hey"! Manvi"! Are U okay"? - I heard Maya saying.
"ummm"!
"Where are U"?
"In park"!
"Oh"! U talking to er"?
"Na"! She isn't here now"!
"Wish her from my side too"!
"Umm"! Don't worry"! I'll.
"U crying"?
"Umm"! N...no"! - I said controlling my sobs.
"Em"! Okay! I talk to er"! Take to U later"!
"hmm"! Bye! - I said n cut the call.

N atlast she was here in front of me with him. I ran back to my car n took out pine apple cake n ran back to my place n lighten the candle.

"Happy birthday MOM"! - I said controlling my tears n pasted a smile on my face. N looked towards the two shinning stars up in sky.
"Hey"! Dad"! U look small today"? Its mom's birthday it doesn't mean I'll not give attention towards U"! - I said giggling.
"Okay"! Mom happy 44th birthday"! Now lemmi blow the candles"! Okay"? - I said blowing the candles n cut a piece of cake n took that into my mouth.
"Dad"! U'll not get that"! What about ur diabetes"? Okay! here ur sugarfree cake"! - I said giggling.
"Mom Dad"! Bhav khane ki zarurat nahi h"! Okay"? - I said pointing towards them. "I miss U"! - I said n couldn't control my tears n started crying holding my knees. "I miss U alot"! Ummm"! I know dad now u'll say I promised U"! I'll never cry"! M a strong girl"! Daddy's baby"! - I wiped my tears n stood up. "Now"! U both have to take care of U"! Okay"? N m not crying"! See my eyes"! M not"! N yea! Maya wished U happy birthday mom"! - I said n took the cakes in my hands n walked off looking at them n waved my hand. N walked towards my car n drove towards "Mother care Orphanage to celebrate her birthday with those children who can understand my pain. What I lost in my arms. I parked my car in front of the door.

I told the caretakers to take all the gifts n cake inside. A light get back to my eyes when I saw all the children ready in new clothes n walked towards Mother Smith n hugged her.

"Hello sweetheart"! How are U"? - she said n hugged me again. We cut the cake n gave all the gifts to the children over there. I love to be around them...it feels like m near someone like me. An inexpressible feeling. A TRUE smile...the one in front of whom I never fake my smile. I played with them alot. Every year I come here on mom's birthday dad's birthday my birthday! Mom dad's anniversary! Truth is i want to come here daily. To spend time with them to share there happiness there sorrows. I was just smiling looking at them. I drove back but stopped my car coz the way i was not mine. That house was not mine. I don't want any money just love. I just want a person who love me beyond limits who'll never leave me. Who love me in every possible way who can fulfil every gaps in my life. I took out a cigeratee n lighten that. The only things which can kill that pain n loneliness inside me. Though i know this'll kill me too. I drove back home n it was about 12:30. I walked in n saw lights were off. I saw ponny coming towards me n she jumped of me pushing me on the ground n leaking my face with her tongue. I smiled over her gestures n laughed out. I took her in my arms n walked towards kitchen coz i knew if she's still awake she'll be hungry. I took her biscuits n milk in a bowl. I walked towards my room n lay ponny on her lil bed n jumped into my bed. I didnt have the strength to change my clothes. I lay my head on the pillow n i thought about what i did wrong today which i usually do at night. N the only name came into my mind was Mr. Cute eyes n i smiled over his imaginary name. I did wrong, i shouldn't have yelled so much over him. That was my fault n i proved again that m weird. I decided to apologize to him next day. But will not talk about mom dad. No one cared about what i am. Nor i was aware of what i am. I don't have control over me. Drinks are like a part of my life. Unseperable! I brushed my hairs from my hand n closed my eyes.

I get down from my car n as usual boys were staring at me. I ignored there sight n moved towards my classes but blocked by Tanya.
"Hello Manvi"? - she said standing in front of me.
"Tanya"! M not in mood"! Please back off"! - I said pushing her at side. N moved towards the class.

"Hey"! Sexy"! - I heard Paul calling me from behind.
"Look Paul"! Please! I broke up it doesn't mean I'll say yes to U"! So please spare me"! - I said n moved towards my classes. N I saw Maya sitting with Arjun n Virat was sitting behind them. I gulped n close my eyes n walked towards them.

"Hey"! - I said to both Maya n Arjun n looked towards Virat who was buried into his book. I moved back n took seat behind him.
Classes were over n I saw he was talking to Arjun n walking in front of me. I gulped again.
"Virat"! - I said n he stopped n looked behind. I didn't said anything just looking at him. I never felt such nervous before. It was more then 2 mins I was just staring at him.
"U want to say something"? - he said n I nodded in negative n walked off. I looked from corner of eyes n he was still staring at me. I wasn't able to say sorry because everyone was staring at me. I walked towards the my car n took out a cigeratee n started blowing that.

"U wanted to say something"? - I jumped from the bonut of my car.
"U scared me"! - I said putting hand on my heart. N I turned towards him n he started coughing.
"Can U please put this down"! I have allergy"! - he said sighing towards my ciggerate n mashed that from my shoes.
"actually I wanted to say s..."!
"No need to"! - he said cutting me.
"Why so"? - I asked him in confusion.
"Ummm"! As U spared me that day"! So I did"!
"ohh"! I was drunk that day"!
"I heard some sayings that a person always say truth while drunk"! - he said coming towards me.
"Really"? Then toh I think I always speaks truth"!
"So ur always drunk"?
"Ummm"! - I said smiling n he smiled back.
"Actually! I never talk about my parents"! So I just want to request please dont talk about them again"! - I said judging his expressions.
"Ummm"! Okay! - He said.

VIRAT'S POV

First time I saw her smiling, don't know why! Dont even know why she don't want to talk about her parents n I think it doesn't seems like my matter. I remembered my words that I should stay away from her but an invisible bond was making to stay near her. May be because she was different from other girls. I felt like I was reseaching a new species of earth.

"If U feel like"! U can join me in disc tonight"? - she said looking at me.
"Ummm"! Are U asking me for a date"? - I said raising my right eyebrow.
"Ummm..No"! Its not like that"! Just want to know U"!
"emmm"! I think normal people call that "Date"!
"Umm! So u R interesting in going foe a date with me"? - she asked me expecting a answer.
"ummm"! Not for a date"! But whole like to know u BETTER"! - I said.
"Aanhaaan"! - she said n Sat in her car n drove off. N suddenly I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.
"Aanhaaan"! She is not my type"! - Arjun said teasing me.
"Rukk tu"! - I said n ran behind him.
I just wanted to know what she is! Not anything like that.

PRECAP

"Come with me"! - I dragged me in a park near the lake. I was about 10 now n she was lil drunk to.
"what"? - I asked.
"Shhh"! Dont worry"! I won't rape u"! Not in front of my mom dad"! - she said giggling n I laughed out loud. Coz she was a girl n drunk not in senses.
"Where ur mom dad are"? I cant see anyone here"? - I said n she sighed in the sky.
"There"! She's my mom"! There's my dad"! - she said looking at the sky. N I looked at her n a shocked manner. My feets were like freezed into the earth. N my jaw dropped n felt a pinch in my heart. I couldn't stopped staring at her.

She was crying badly.
"U can hug me"! If u want"! - I said n she looked at me n came near me n was about to hug but suddenly looked at me n pointed her finger towards my face.
"U won't kiss me na"? - she said Like a 5 years old baby n I chuckled n she hugged me.

feeling soo bad for manvi she is one emotional gal who has bottled up all her emotions just shows it to her parents and mayaotherwise behaving all tht spoilt brat so tht no one betrays her...

The Update was Awesome .. felt bad for maanvi , had tears in my eyes .. Kitna tolerate krna prta h Manvi kO .. really a Brave girl yr .. U portrayed her role soo well yr .. well-written update ..
