Its not NOW gone too far out of hand. It always was. Its just that it wasn't RECOGNIZED before. Showing it subtly and wrapping it in falls/catches, eyelock, lovesongs in the background, a lot of ppl didn't recognise abuse. Not till it was shown as phyiscal abuse and rk SPELT IT OUT. Or to be more PRECISE...the cvs made the character spell it out in yesterday's episode.
