The Raizada House - Shantivan

It was chaos all around as Sayali Raizada passed out various orders to the multiple Prakash brothers JP HP & OP who was incharge of managing the household and gardens !! It was common routine to find Sayali in the thick of things, trying to get everything perfect and in order by the time her husband and 2 sons got ready for their work. And she had her daughter Alaka to help her out as well.

Alaka was the youngest in the family, the princess of Shantivan yet she was her mother's best friend. Alaka and Sayali were the unbeatable duo of the house, the men of the house didn't stand a chance once this duo had their hearts set on something and that's exactly the current situation in the house.

Sayali & Alaka had decided that it was higtime for the sons of the house to get hitched and they had decided to don the role of cupids !!! More of that story later on !!!

Meanwhile Samar Raizada unaware of his wife and daughter 's intentions had willingly agreed to the huge party they had planned in the name of a casual social get together !!! this was very common in their circle after all !!!

The Raizada group of industries were the largest not just in India but was among the top ten corporate companies of the world, The Raizadas were an invincible name in any major industry but the man responsible for the current stature of the Raizada Groups was currently lost in his beautiful dreams since it was a glorious Sunday and it was only on a Sunday that the most eligible bachelor of India slept a proper sleep !!!

Scene shifts...

The Gupta Mansion

It was silent and eerie as the morning dawned bright and sunny, a gloomy atmosphere hung over the house, a deathly calm swept over the entire mansion.

Raj Gupta kissed Maya goodbye and left in his car while Maya got into hers and left right behind him, her destination fixed on the nearby ladies club where she usually spend her mornings, her eyes had dark circles beneath them from her late night all ladies booze party at her friend's place.

Meanwhile in the upper floors, 2 rooms were still closed...

Payal Gupta slept in her room, curled in the arms of a European guy by his looks, both tired from their late night rendezvous, nothing to be surprised since Payal herself had lost count as to how many guys she had brought into her bedroom.

Moving to the room next to hers...

Enter the room and you enter the world of an artist whose heart has been scorched with pain...

Right above her bedpost a life size portrait of Revati Gupta was hung, letting the world know who rules the room's inhabitant's heart and soul.

Paintings were kept on vertical boards in one corner, her violin lay on the couch next to her bed and right now she was once again lost in the scary depths of her nightmares...

Khushi was laughing and running around like a wicked witch as Rahul chased her around their campus, she had once again snatched the love of his life...his violin and ran away so that she got his attention...

"Khush am warning you !!! girl you are neck deep trouble once I catch hold of you !!! " yelled Rahul, his face crackling in joyful mirth as he chased behind her !!!

A gunshot rang out and the next thing Khushi saw was Rahul being gunned down, his body smattered with bullets, fountains of blood erupting from his body as he slumped to the floor, the ghost of his smile frozen on his face...

But before she could scream out she felt the aura around her shifting and next thing she saw was her home...

A little of girl of 7 wept helplessly as her mother lay on the ground dying, she held her dying mother's hand tight in hers as she called for help but no one heard her little voice calling out anyone who could save her mother...her only solace in the world...

Khushi woke up sweating,her face stained with her tears, her pillows wet once again from all the tears that she had shed in her nightmares haunting her night after night...the medicines were of no use anymore !!!! She saw the violin lying on her couch and took it up, she held it close to her heart as she broke down...

She wanted it all to end,all whom she had loved had left her yet the gods weren't kind to her,she was still alive to bear the pain of losing all her loved ones, surrounded by people who only wanted her to maintain their status quo'.

It was the beginning of another painstaking day of her painfully long life that seemed to stretch ahead like a barren desert, she was like a parched flower looking for a green oasis but it was nowhere in sight.

Back to Raizada house...

The curtains were ripped open as Akash launched himself on his brother who was snoring away to glory !!!

"Bhai wake up !!! " Akash screamed as Arnav woke up with a grumpy smile adorning his face...

"whats the matter Akash ??? its a Sunday ?? why are you screaming the house down ?? " retorted Arnav looking fondly at his brother who was looking like he had had bitter gourd juice for breakfast !!!

"Bhai...Maa & Chotti are on a new mission !!! mission name 'getting the Raizada brothers hitched ' !! " finished Akash in a single shot !!

" what the !!! wow Akash what a wonderful morning spoiled and gone down the drain !!! now we will have the society queens parading their daughters in front of us the entire evening while we sat through the male swayamvar !!! " groaned Arnav as he stuffed his face into his pillow while Akash curled up next to him flinching at the thought of the upcoming nightmare !!!

Alaka entered the room to see her brothers wearing identical expressions of horror and she could help but laugh out !!! the 2 young princes of the Raizada group looked like they had been sentenced to death without any prior heads up !!!

"Relax my bhais !!!! you wont have to deal with your nightmares this time, Maa and I have already spotted 2 beautiful girls and I have their pics with me, I will show you now and you both will have to meet these girls only if you like them, or else this can be just another party where we three have our usual masti while we leave our parents with the other oldies !!! " announced Alaka as she climbed in between her brothers, lying down between her brothers, she saw her brothers heaving a sigh of relief as they heard their little sister's plan !!!

Alaka turned to Arnav "so bhai since you are the eldest, its your turn first !! ready to meet my potential bhabhi ??? "

Arnav gave her a shy nod as Alaka handed him the picture in her phone...

Time froze as he saw her eyes for the first time...

He saw an ocean of pain in her eyes...he wanted to reach out and hold her close until all her pain was erased with happiness'.

An angel's smile adorning her lips...hiding all her pain in her heart
