He showed the picture to Shilpa "What is this?" Shilpa closed her eyes very tight, not to want meet his questioning eyes. "This was my past...he was my past." The photo fell down from his hands, he couldn't believe, how was it possible, how can this man just look like him? "But...how...I mean...he looks like me...how can it be?" "He was my husband." It was like someone has snatched his breath; he felt dizzy and for sometimes everything went black before his eyes. Armaan's mind wasn't working anymore; this was too much for him. "This is a joke right?" he went over her and held her shoulder tightly "Shilpa stop it...just stop it. This can't be true. How can he look like me?" She held his hands and pushed them away and picked the photo "I loved him...he was my life." she caressed the photo "I hate him...I hate him and I hate u." She looked at Armaan "Whenever I see your face... I see him in front of me... I see him in u." She closed her eyes, tears rolled down "I hate u Armaan Mallik...u awake every emotion in me that make me feels alive. I hate the feeling of being alive. I have killed every feeling in me there is just pain but whenever u are near me I start to feel like the old Shilpa but I am not more the same... I am not." She fell on her knees and started to cry harder and Armaan couldn't see her like that. He could understand why she is behaving like that with him. He wanted to hold her, to hug her tight but how could he do that, what he has done before, he lost the right to even ask her anything. He crossed his limit today with Shilpa, he never forced any girl, yes he used them and then when he was finished he would throw them away but he never forced them. When her sobs got louder he took a step ahead but instantly he stopped 'I hate u Armaan Mallik' this was ringing in his head. Armaan closed his eyes, his hands were fisted very tightly to stop the urge to touch her and hold her in his arms. Without even looking at her he moved out of the room and went down. 'What have I done...I thought she is just showing attitude but in realty she was in pain. I am such a jerk...how will I face her...how can I after what I did. She will never forgive me. Why I have to think she is like the other women...she isn't like them...she is different but now it doesn't matter. Shilpa hates me. I have to stay away from her... I will stay away from her.' he thought. Armaan took his shirt and wore it, and then he walked out of the house to his car and drove away, somewhere where he finds peace.

Shilpa was still crying, she looked at the photo again and moved her fingers on it, hated these emotions. Since 3 years Shilpa was living a life full of pain, she never felt anything else then pain but Armaan he always make her feel alive, he makes her feel like she has also desires dreams and a right to be loved. Yes she loved Karan but he killed everything in her, he killed her Baby and with her love for him too, she won't forgive him ever, never. But still since 3 years she is living in a nightmare and she won't let anyone be a part of it not even Armaan. Shilpa wiped her tears and stood up and went to her cupboard. She took her wedding album out and put the photo with the others. She remembered her wedding where she was the happiest girl on the world. Karan was very naughty and very stubborn. Shilpa smiled, she remembered the Karan with whom she fell in love, who loved her more than anything. She went to her bed and sat there with the album, she closed her eyes.

Flashback

Next day, after their unofficial date in the Caf, Karan showed her Mumbai. After that he asked her out again and they started to meet often. One day when Shilpa was going to Delhi to meet her Maasi her car broke down near a jungle. It was a deserted street, no one really no one was there except of her and her driver "Shilpa mam... I have to get a mechanic...the car isn't starting." Shilpa just nodded and the driver left her alone in the car. Suddenly she her something and she moved out of the car, she was looking here and there but nothing was so she walked back to the car and was about to open the door when someone grabbed her from behind and closed her mouth with his hand. Her heart was beating fast, in her mind she was freaking out. Shilpa held the man's hand and tried to free her mouth but unfortunately he was too strong for her but she didn't stop to wriggle under his grip. Seeing her struggle the man moved closer to her and pressed his hard toned body on her back and made her lean more to the car. "Ssshhh" Shiver ran down her spine, her breath got struck, she stopped moving and she closed her eyes. Shilpa recognized the touch of this man; she could smell the strong cologne and she knew who he was. The man slowly turned Shilpa around, he saw her eyes closed "Shilpa open your eyes" she nodded a no "Please open your beautiful almond big green eyes." Slowly she opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was his big smirk. Anger built up in her, she just wanted to wipe that smirk out of his face and she started hitting him "How dare u Karan...u know how scared I was? I got a heart attack because of u...idiot" she hit him on his chest, shoulder and on his arms "Baby...stop please...Jaan I am sorry...I won't do that again." Karan got hold both of her hands "Stop it Jaan." And she kicked him on his right leg "Aaahhh" Karan screamed in pain and he kneeled down and held his leg, Shilpa panicked out "OMG...Oh my god...I am...I am soo...soo sorry did I hurt..." Shilpa stopped freaking out when she saw him smiling at her, she was about to speak but he made her shut her mouth. Karan took something out of his pocket it was a small box and he opened it and stretched it out to her. Shilpa's eyes were wide open; it was a beautiful silver diamond ring in it.

Karan held Shilpa's hand and then he spoke "Miss Shilpa Malhotra...I know u never expected this so soon but I can't live without u...so WILL YOU MARRY ME?" There was a long silence, Karan was looking at her with his puppy look but when nothing came from her side he spoke again "Shilpa I know...maybe I won't be the ideal husband but I will always try to keep u happy. I will make sure to take time for u...even if I will be very busy with work...I will never ignore u and...And we will go every week for movie and...and I will make your favorite brownies. We will have a beautiful house in Mumbai with a garden...were our children will play and...And we will have 8 kids...four boys and four girls. Every morning we will go for a basketball match...Boys v/s Girls and...And..." "Bas...bas Karan...stop it." She made him stand and held his face "Karan how much u talk...don't panic. YES I WILL MARRY YOU. But no 8 kids...we will have just two...one boy and one girl" Karan smiled and hugged her "Jaan we will fight over the kids after the marriage...by the way I won't leave u after we are married...then what will u do?" "Karan" She smacked his arm and Karan pecked her lips.

It's been two months since Karan proposed to Shilpa and in one week their wedding was taking place. Shilpa couldn't believe that in just one year her life changed so much, that one meeting in the Caf would make such a huge change in her and Karan's life. He came in her life and now he is her life, she was never so happy like now. She was hell excited and nervous because since the marriage date is out Karan was becoming naughtier day by day. Well why wouldn't she when Karan himself has challenged her that he would come in her room at midnight and he would stay there whole night and leave in the morning without waking up anyone. Karan would do that till their wedding so literally Shilpa was getting a heart attack because it was already 11.55 pm and any time he would come in her room. She knew Karan is damn stubborn and he would do anything to fulfill his challenge. Suddenly the lights went off and she got up from her bed and was about to walk to the door when she felt a hard pull backwards. She was crushed in someone's hard chest and before Shilpa could scream, the person covered her mouth with his hand. She started to struggle; she knew this can be just Karan. Shilpa wanted to beat him for showing up in the middle of night and she feared what if someone had seen him climbing in her room. Karan let her mouth and before she could say anything he took her into a hot and passionate kiss.
