Tanveer is not his girlfriend from before or anything whom he would embrace more just to get rid of his feelings for Zoya. She is a friend and though a very old one Asad is using her as a refuge and insulting Zoya at every chance he gets? Isn't that horrible?

I mean tomorrow Tanveer might not be what she looks like and Asad might find himself wrong to judge women by their attire and then only Zoyas importance in his life might come into picture. Is that right? I don't want that to happen.

Trinzie, its very very horrible because he is injuring both Zoe and himself. But unless he learns his lessons the hard way ,unless all his self-conditioning is not undone, he will never be able to let go of his judgmental fundamentalism and emotional hiccups. Something needs to be washed out of Asad and that is his poor judgment of people and his blind faith in his fundamentalism. It scars the amazing man that he is.

Zoe's importance and her innocence can come into the picture right now and all could be well. But if the same thing comes to him with a jolt to his heart , that would be his evolution as a person. Sometimes you need to be slapped hard to know the value of an embrace. Asad needs the same or else he will never be able to give himself completely to Zoe or accept her with her existing beauty as a person.
