Chapter 17

Madhu rushed to RK as soon as he waved her in. Her eyes widen as she saw his eyes closing. "RK!!!!" she ran as fast as she could. It took Madhu's whole strength to catch RK, even then she wasn't able to lift him up all the way. She wrapped both his hands around her neck and gradually laid his chest against her back, just like piggy backing, this way she can support him and pull at the same time. Madhu tried as hard as she could to get him inside the vacant hut.

Madhu: Only a few more steps'(breathing very heavily)

Just then Madhu slipped and RK fell inside the Hut. RK let out a painful moan. " RK!" Madhu yelled.

She finally managed to lay him in the middle of the floor. Madhu looked at RK and was so afraid. "Please don't let anything happen to him." She wanted to cry but there was no time. She looked at RK and herself, both soaking wet. At this rate they will both freeze during the night. Luckily for Madhu there was plenty of dry wood inside the hut.

Madhu hurriedly gathered as much wood as she could to built a fire. God really must be watching out for them because the blazer in which RK gave Madhu to wear had a lighter in the pocket. When Madhu finally managed to build the fire she was so relieved.

The night was getting colder by the minute. Madhu's hands were starting to feel numb. She also noticed that RK was shivering profusely. She saw some fabric lying around and grabbed them. She started to undress RK, tears running down her face when she sees the branch coming out of RK's shoulder. Every time she would accidently touch it RK would wince. When she manage to get the sleeves off of RK Madhu let out a sigh of relief. The worse part was over Madhu thought. But then her heart started to race when she knew she had to take off his wet trousers. Madhu looked the other way as she tried to pull the trousers off. She then wrapped him up with on of the fabric that she had found. Now it was Madhu's turn. She stripped herself of her wet clothes and wrapped herself in one of the fabric. She sat down next to RK and noticed that he was still shivering. She tried rubbing her hands against his but to no avail. RK was not looking good. He was still losing blood.

Madhu had no choice. She opened her cloth and RK's and she slowly laid her bare back against his chest and wrapped his arms around her, letting him engulf her entire body. Madhu's heart was racing a mile a minute. She could feel RK's heart beat pound against her skin. Suddenly Madhu smiled because RK was no longer shivering. " Everything will be okay RK." Madhu closed her eyes while the arms of the man she could never truly hate embraced her.

Back at RK's resort

Avinesh: Ruma. Go call Bittuji and ask him where is Mr. Kundra. He should have arrived by now.

Ruma: Yes Sir.

Mr. Avinesh was feeling very uneasy. He knew he should have never let RK take Madhu. God knows where he must have really taken her!" he thought to himself.

Bittuji was still struggling driving up the hill in the pouring rain when he slammed on his breaks. " OMG!! Isn't that chief's car!" Bittuji rushed out to check to see if anyone was inside but it was empty. Just then his phone rings.

Ruma: Mr. Bittuji, where is Mr. Kundra he was supposed to be here to greet everyone by now.

Bittuji: I don't know!! But something must be wrong. I'm standing by his car right now, it looks like they hit a tree but I don't see them anywhere!!

Ruma: What??!! Look around; do you see where they might of went?

Bittuji started to look around in a panick state when he sees lots of muddy footprints going towards the forest.

Bittuji: There seems to be lots of muddy footprints leading into the forest.

Ruma: Ok. I will report this to Mr. Avinesh. We will get people out looking for them.

Mr. Avinesh was still standing by the window looking out into the pouring rain when Miss Katrina tapped his shoulder.

Katrina: Hello Mr. Avinesh.

Mr. Avinesh turned around expecting to see Madhu but instead he saw a barely dressed Katrina instead.

Mr. Avinesh: Hello Miss Katrina.

Katrina: So where is my handsome co-star Mr. RK?

Katrina could not wait to sink her claws into RK. This was the best opportunity of a lifetime. To be'. Mrs. Kundra.

Mr. Avinesh: It seems he has not arrived

Mr. Avinesh than saw a scared Ruma running towards him.

Ruma: Sir!! It seems Mr. Kundra hit a tree and is no where to be found!!

Mr. Avinesh: And MADHU?!

Ruma: She is not around either. But Bittuji says it looks like they ran into the forest.

Mr. Avinesh: What??!! Something must have happen for them to run into the forest in this pouring rain!! Go call the police right now! Have them send out a team to look for them at once!

Ruma: Yes Sir.

Ruma franctically dialed the police while Katrina stood there clueless.

Katrina: Who's Madhu? And why is she with RK? (angrily)

Mr. Avinesh: Miss Katrina! This is not the time for useless questions!! I suggest you go to your room and get situated. It looks like the dinner party is cancelled.

Katrina had a scared look on her face and walked fast to her room, the last thing she needs is to be fired before even getting to see RK.

Ruma: Sir!! I talked to the police and they have been searching for about 20 minutes; apparently Mr. Bittuji had already informed them. But due to the rain it's been difficult sir.

Mr. Avinesh: Meaning??!!

Ruma looking at a furious Mr. Avinesh " they are stopping and will continue when the rain calms."

Mr. Avinesh: God knows how long that will be!! Tell them to continue!!

Ruma: Calm down sir. They are trying their best. We will find them.

The rain poured throughout the entire night as Mr. Avinesh pace to and fro, unable to stop thinking of Madhu. " Once this damn rain stops! I will find you Miss Mallik!! I will not let this damn rain or RK take you from me!!"
