@Soujanya, I tried snowboots but, they only last me one season. Even the super expensive real leather ones. So, I saved up and bought good rain boots so I can run through puddles to catch that bus I am already running late for. Not the most comfortable to wear all day but, if you walk around a lot, two thumbs up from me.

People here run but, the campus is cozy & only freshmen care about getting to class on time😆

hmm I can't disagree, I have to buy new boots every winter but I don't know but like you say not the most comfortable. But whatever floats your boat! 😆 and hey hey now I am sure you want to get to class on time as well, like say for lab. gosh it was terrible in 1st semester, always late for class because I kept getting lost. worst feeling ever. Actually I sat through a wrong class too. Just blah, never again! 🤢

🤣 I am laughing at your misery. Is it bad?😳 Yes, it's bad but, I can't help it. Only yesterday when I was in your shoes. Sat through the wrong class🤣 poor baby. for a lab is the only time I drop everything & run for it.

CRUEL UPPERCLASSMEN! 🤢It was terrible, and sadly I almost sat through a ecology class this semester instead of math, I just slipped out from the back, and ran to the right class, gosh this never gets old. I have Labs on thursdays, Labs are just so blah, boring, too tedious. 🤢

Hang in there, labs are super fun if you choose the right major (hint for next year). My program has a tight knit community, we chit chat the entire lab time & our prof is on a first name basis with everyone. A friendly place all in all. My department has spoiled me so much, I strongly dislike taking the mandatory large classes. Hang in there girl!

Madhubala had been driving for six hours straight without a break. Rishabh's bladder was on the verge of giving up when Madhu brought the vehicle to an abrupt stop.

"I will be right back", she took the keys away before Rishabh had a chance to respond.

Twenty minutes had gone by since Madhubala entered a shady looking gas station. Finally, the anxiety took over and he decided to check inside the store.

The racks were full of junk food packages and adult magazines, chocolates and tongue staining slushy drinks. All in all, the place had every equipment necessary to annoy Madhubala. This would make for an interesting rest of the trip, Rishabh thought out loud. The slightly unpleasant looking cashier gushed at the handsome stranger. Little did he know this stranger had no filters.

"What you starin' at Quasimodo?"

Rishabh tried his best territorial stare before realizing that Quasimodo in the corner was the only person who could help him trace Madhubala.

"That was a joke", they shared a forced, pathetic laugh. "The girl who came in, where is she?"

"You with her?", the cashier imagined his window of opportunity dwindle down to nothing with a mention of the girl.

"She in washroom. Before she go to service station, she nose bleeding".

"Thanks", Rishabh snorted up the dry air as his color turned pale.

"Dangerous types, better not get involved", the cashier offered unsolicited advice.

Rishabh walked out the door and toward the portables. There he spotted his driver chic, busy on the phone, blood dripping down her nose like a faucet.

"You are talking about prostitution. What? I am calling a spade a spade. I will not do what you ask of me", Madhu hung up the phone but the static persisted.

Rishabh appeared from the corner of her eye.

"Are you okay?"

"No", she threw the keys on the side bench and headed for the car.
