Part 2

Riya paced around her cabin. She was thinking about what Aisha had said.

Riya: ( kya Aisha sahi hai? kya maine Arjun se sach main kuch zyada hi battameezi se baat ki. After all, ab oski kya galti thi. Osne to sirf apne dil ki baat mujhe batayi. Aur ose nahi pata tha k aaj Raj ka B'day hai aur Raj ne mujhe aaj hi k din propose kiya tha. I think mujhe osse maafin maangni chahiye.)

Riya decides this and goes out to look for Arjun. She is surprised that he is not in the conference room or his cabin. Usually, if they don't have a case, he is in the office only. He never goes out. She goes towards Sameer's cabin to enquire about Arjun when she hears Shree and Chotu talking in Aisha's Cabin through the half open door.

She thinks of asking them but before she can knock, she hears Shree's phone ringing.

Shree: hello... Yes, speaking... What!!! Is he OK? How hurt... Which Hospital? Global? OK... we are on our way... (Cuts the call) Arjun ka accident hua hai! Osse bahut chot lagi hai. They are taking him to Global Hospital. Chalo.. JALDI!!

Aisha and Chotu don't even get time to react. they just follow Shree out.

They barge into Sameer's room and all four of them rush out. No one even thinks about Riya. Arjun is all that's on their minds now.

But, Riya, who had heard Shree's conversation, was pressed against the wall of Aisha's cabin and was Hyperventilating. the mere thought of something happening to Arjun scared her. She was trying very hard to control herself but scary images of Raj's death were coming in front of her eyes and then the picture changed to see a DEAD Raj covered with a white cloth up to neck and the ward-boy covering his face too! Riya closed her eyes and for a moment saw Arjun's face. Before Raj's face could be replaced by Arjun's, she snapped her eyes open.

Riya: Nahi... Aisa nahi ho sakta. main aisa nahi hone doongi.

Saying this, she rushed out of the ETF headquarters and ran to her car which, 3 hours ago had been parked next to Arjun's car, and now stood all alone... Like her life!
