First of all, pardon me for having to change the curvy font. I usually use a mobile device and if I don't change it, it all becomes messed up with the codes showing up. But I really like the font you use. 😊Wow… a long part. I so loved it so much. So many emotions were packaged together throughout the part, & you compelled me to feel it all so brilliantly with the gradual progression of the part. 😃
A long part, indeed. Perhaps the longest I've ever written. But the effort is worth it if you say you were able to feel the emotions in it. 😳
Anaya is a sweetheart and a lot of credit does go to her.
The foursomes have started bonding like a gang of friends so beautifully. Great a bit of the credit for that goes to Anya. She's such a sweet heart. Maan's presence has started affecting Geet madam in more than one way. His indifference towards her in particular has definitely pricked her. Great progress from those days when even his presence & all the gossip generated by him among the girls didn't lure her least bit.
I think the gossip and all the hear-say doesn't affect some people until they've actually experienced first-hand the things that are being talked about. And once you've spent a good deal of time with someone, their ignorance will definitely not go down well with you, you're bound to feel a bit hurt... 😊The letter….😲What am I supposed to say it shocked me in a similar manner as that it did to Maan. The whole of the first half I was like now what is going to happen? I was almost on the verge of biting my nails from the built up there. But then thought better of it for the whole part to complete…. *phew my precious nails were saved. The mother's address to her a daughter did put me off initially. It did make me wonder where is she leading to with all of this???? It was in the last part itself that it affirmed the fact that mother knows best….. & post this I was like what is Geet's mother planning for her. But nevertheless you still stuck to it. You ultimately didn't let that fact to waver any way at all.
I was actually expecting displeasure on the first half of the letter with the way the mother addresses her daughter, and that's what I got! 😆
I'm not quite sure what the bold part means. The letter was a must, causing him to conclude about the depth of his feelings. It compelled him to contemplate & dig deep within him to make peace with the fact that his feelings towards her are much more than a mere infatuation, they're deeper than even what he would feel for a friend.Well timed presence of letter putting a hold to his all so sacrifice mode, by donning the thinking cap & after all different permutations & combinations the sinking of the realisation that Ayush's love is Anya.
It often happens that a trigger is needed to open a part of ourselves to our own eyes. The letter played the role for Maan here and aren't we glad that it happened? 😉His anxiousness & apprehensions on not feeling Geets's presence & concern about her reasons of absence was quite palpable. It so much so rubbed on me too. I came up with all the possible reasons for her absence even more than Maan could have possibly had.
Accha? Can I get a preview of the list you came up with? 😃The bonding between Ayush & Maan was so typical among boys yet it was full of its own uniqueness between these two, so well depicted that growing together & staying in each other's presence since 8 years did have its own speciality & the importance of having such good friends who can see through you as clearly as mirrors ( though sometimes hazy cause of own prejudices yet ultimately know you inside out).
Ahh, the first person who says they love Ayush! 😃
Very well said! The more the time we pass with certain people, the better they know us even though there are prejudices involved at times.
Maan is so full of assumptions somewhere arising from his own earlier insecurities but then Ayush did clear out everything for him, keeping it all open in front of him. He made him jealous on purpose…. I so loved this Ayush now. Ayush too has his own self made inhibitions showing that love does bring in insecurities along with it, making you feel incompetent to reciprocate the feelings & also fear of hurting. Love is a strong emotion but needs to be supported & nurtured, cherished between both the receiver & giver. After all their so intense, deep heart to heart serious talks, they ended it with laughter.
Love creates uncertainties and insecurities and Ayush's case is no different. We can just hope he comes out victorious with this and so does Maan. 😳When it was revealed that Geet's absence was due to fever, I breathed a sigh of relief. 😆Though it was genuine reason I was like khoda pahad nikla chua types, stating it was just fever (not undermining it yet…) not something very drastic. Maan's confession about reading her letter, though just first page was so adorable. I wanted to go pull his cheeks. Sickness does make you vulnerable. More so if you are far from your dear ones. Happiness can be shared with everyone, but sufferings, sorrows & one's lows can only be
Isn't it mostly the case that when we don't know what's the reason behind something, we tend to expect the worst?
shared by the ones close to you. Glad she could & has already felt that Maan could be that special person other than her family with whom she could share her vulnerable & weak side.
Exactly, we can share happiness with almost anyone but sorrows and sadness are very private to be shared except with a few people. Geet is too emotionally vulnerable at the moment to really hesitate and think about not sharing her own fears. I can't say much about her opinion on Maan being the special person. 😃The ease which they both are when with the other is so calming & beautiful to perceive. He bringing her & sharing with her the place so special, close & private to him just shows his unconscious acceptance of his love he feels for her, as love alone can cause you to do so. Geet too could open up to him as he showed that somewhere deep down even he is coping with the loss of someone very special to him, his family- his father. She felt connected to him by means of his loss ( on similar lines to her longing & loneliness of being away from her family…) He filled her emptiness & craving for having her family beside her by comforting her with his tale of emptiness after the demise of his father. So deeply touching the whole scene was. She too like him has already seen & experienced so much in life very much along similar lines as him, both the families have faced those situations which has bonded them more & strengthened their relation. Both are of few words yet find solace in each other.
My personal favourite in this chapter was Maan's attempt to make her see the brighter side. If I look at it just like a reader, I'd fall more in love with this person for this little action.
When two people have faced similar situations in life, they understand each other better and even help each other through it, hence the comfort they felt in each other's company. 😊
Every daughter does have the same fear deep down that Geet spoke about (varying in intensity) loved how Maan showed her not to hold onto the negatives & see the brighter side to it. I always believe that you need to treasure that person whose silence is also comforting & like music to you, speaks to you. That person who can be with you without complaining even in a lonely place in silence yet understanding of every emotion you are expressing. This was how these 2 were in that place, their silence consoling & comforting them, causing to be at peace even after sharing some painful memories. 👏
Yes, silence of a special person sometimes speaks a thousand words and you understand everything buried within that golden silence. Only the silence these two shared brought them the peace and the courage to share the pain...The dream… hayee me into Maan land. SBV…😳😳thanks for it. One request down, many more to be fulfilled by you. 😛
Dream mein SBV nahin tha. But I don't object to you drooling over SBV. 😆
Another request.. Let me think about it.🤔
Thanks Onir! 🤗
