CHAPTER 22:
- The rest of the day Bani rested. She kept her eyes on Jigyasa and Anu. They seemed to be having great conversations but when Bani tried to join them they made small talk. Bani knew they were hiding something from her, and she was pretty sure of what it was. She was just waiting to talk to Sahil and see what it was that he had to say. In the mean time she thought that she could play their game too. She notices that both Jigyasa and Anu have the Guess watches on so Bani goes to them.
B- Aare Anu tumhari watch toh bohot hi sundar hai, aur Jiggs tera bhi. Kya tum dono ne ek saath kharida.
(Jiggs and Anu look nervous)
Jig- Haan...woh...us din humne shopping karte waqt yeh kharida.
B- Aach, lekin main toh har waqt tum dono ke saath thi, toh phir kab..?
A- Aare yaad nahin hai kya, tum Rano ke saath kuch books lenegaye...tab humne kharida.
Jig- Haan tab...
B- Oh...too bad...its so nice...aare Jigyasa...ek kaam karo na...gaar ka sara kaam toh hogaya hai...kyun na hum jakar mere liye bhi ek watch kharidle...i like it so much.
(Now they know they are in trouble...they dont know what to say...)
A- Bani ...woh...(Just then they are interepted by the guys coming home)
(Bani just looks at them and then leaves to greet the guys. Anu and Jigyasa exchange glances of relief.)
A- Jiggs...i dont like hiding anything from Bani we should tell her.
Jig- Haan i know...lekin aagar Bani ne bhaia se kuch kehe diya...im not ready for that...
A- Ok...when the time is right...
In the hall Jigyasa and Anu bring out chai and nasta for everyone. Bani keeps a close eye on the four to see what is going on. Jigyasa gives Adi the tea and Anu to Sahil. Rano also sees this and winks at Bani. Just them Bani gives a small laugh and everyone looks at her.
J- Bani kya hua.??
B- Kuch nahin...woh Rano...
(Jai is thinking Rano told Bani about the footsies, he dosent know what to say)
R- *wispers* Aare jiju kya hua...relax...didi ko kuch nahin paata...humare "GAME" ke bare mein.
J- Aacha main upar jakar study mein kaam karta hoon. Adi, Sahil r u coming too.?
Adi- Haan Jai chal...(They are at the stairs and wait for Sahil)
S- Ummm...Bhaia aap log jaye naa...mujhe bhabi se kuch kaam tha...5 min...
(Jai looking suspicious)
J- Tik hai
Jai and Adi go to the study. Anu and Jigyasa go to get dinner ready. And Rano is as usual studying. Sahil pulls Bani into a corner to talk to her.
B- Ok Sahil...aab bolo...kya baath hai..
S- Bhabi woh....
B- Haan haan?
S- Bhaia i think ke Jigyasa aur Adi bhaia...like each other..
B- Aacha...
S- Haan bhabi...maine notice kiya ke un dono mein kuch changes aagaya...aankon aankon mein baateyn hota hai......mujhe lagata hai ke hume kuch karna chahiyeh...yehi baath main aap se kehena chatatha..
B- Oh...thats it...
S- Haan...aur kya hosakta hai...
B- (thinking)...Sahil miya...thats all...tumne toh aapne aur Anu ke baare mein kuch nahin kahaan. Tik hai, main bhi tumhari bhabi hoon. I know what to do. Two can play at this game. Kaal chuti hai naa...tum charoon ka khabar main kaal lungi.
S- Bhabi...aap chup kuyn hai..
B- Haan...woh...(gets serious) Sahil you are wrong...Jigyasa aur Adi Bhaia ke beech mein aaisa kuch nahin hai. Aur agar hota bhi toh kuch faida nahin hota. Tum toh aapne bhai ko jante ho...woh uss rishte ko khabi nahin accept karte. Aacha yehi hoga ke tum yeh bhool jao. Iss barre mein aur kuch nahin sunna mujhe.
Bani gets up and leaves, but has a smile on her face...she loved the look on Sahils face when Bani said No...it was too good..She almost laughed...she had to bite her tongue not to. She was already making plans for getting even with all three of them. Jigs and Anu for not telling her and hiding from her...Sahil for not telling her the whole truth...baas...behcara Adi was just caught up in the middle...
They all have a fairly quiet dinner. Sahil who is usually the talkative one was quiet. He was thinking if Jai bhaia cannot accept Jigyasa and Adi then how will he accept him and Anu...bechara...Bani just had a smirk on her face...even Jigyasa and Anu were quiet. They were about to go stairs when Bani threw them a curve ball.
B- Anu, Jigyasa...kaal chuti hai naa...toh kaal hum jayenge shopping uss watch kharidne...i love it so much...u know tum dono jaise GUESS watches...
(At the mention of guess watches Adi and Sahil both kind of choke on their drinks. Everyone stares at them. Jai is confused because he cant figure out whats going on. Rano however knows what is going on now.)
Jig- Tik hai...
They all go to bed...Becharas...the four culprits didnt get a wink of sleep thinking about Bani...lol...Bani on the other hand had a great nights sleep...she was just waiting for morning to come to put her plan into action...and the fact that she is snuggled into Jai dosent hurt either...lol...
The next morning Bani notices that no one is up...well Jai, Rano, Massi and Dadi are but the four she wants are still sleeping. Jai tells Bani that he has to check out a site for a new building. He was going to take Adi and Sahil but since they are sleeping he wont bother them. He said he would be back in a few hours. Dadi and Massi are at the mandir, and from there they will go to a pooja at a neighbors house. So Bani has the whole hose to herself to torture those 4. About one hour later the four main culprits come down for breakfast.
B- Oh ho...toh aap logo ka neind utra...maine aur Rano ne socha tha ke aap log toh lunch ke baad hi humse milne aayenge.
A- Bani tum bhi naa...paatha nahin lekin kaal raath ko tik se so nahin paya
S- Haan...main bhi nahin..
B- Koi baath nahin...aap log please have a seat...main nasta laati hoon..
(They all sit down and bani brings in the breakfast and calls Rano too...we all know how badly Rano wants to expose there four)
B- Anu kaal aunty ka phone aaya tha.
A- Mamma ka...kya kahaan..
B- Baas puch rahi thi ke tum kaise ho...kaab gaar jaoge.
Jig- Bhabi aap aunty se kehedete ke aab Anu yahaan rahegi.
B- Jigyasa...tumne to mere maan ki baath kehedi..
Jig- Kya...main kuch samja nahin...
B- Ok let me explain...Anu tu toh most of the time yehin hota hai...right..
A- Haan...
B- Maine socha ke tu iss gaar ke bahu baan ja...(They all stop eating and look at Bani) tera shaadi ka umar toh hogaya...aur kuch dino se aunty mere peche pada hai ke tere liye ek aacha sa dulha dundu main. Aur mujhe lagta hai ke Adi Bhaia se aache jeewan saati tumhe nahin mil sakta
(Adi and Sahil both choke on their food. Anu and Jigyasa have horrified looks on their faces. Bani is enjoy every minute of this as well as Rano.)
R- Aare aap logo ko kya hua?
Adi- K..k...kuch nahin..
R- Ok...but how great is that...Anu phir toh u would be here all the time...and Adi bahia aap meri dusra jiju...how fun...
B- Haan...Adi bhaia aap ka kya kehena hai...vaise bhi maine aunty aur uncle baath karli hai, aur Dadi se bhi...unko manzoor hai. Aur aaj subah hi maine unse bhi baath kar liya hai. He is happy too..he likes Anu...
Adi- Haan...lekin...woh...
(Anu looks at Sahil and Adi looks at Jigyasa not knowing what to do. Adi has no answer.)
Adi- Aagar.....ummm...agar ma aur baki logo ko manzoor hai toh...
(Everyone is shocked to see the path Aditya is taking...Sahil is fuming and so is Jigyasa)
Jig- Kya...aapko manzoor hai?!?!
(Bani and Rano sense the anger in her voice...they are smirking)
S- Lekin yeh kaise hosakta hai...
Jig- Haan yeh nahin hosakta hai...
B- Lekin kyun...aagar Adi Bhaia aur Anu raazi hai...tum dono ko kyun aaitraz hai?
S- Woh.....ummm...
Jig- Kyun ke Adi Anu se shaadi nahin karsakte..
B- Adi?!...lekin kyun nahin hosakte (Bani is not letting go until they admit whats going on)
S- Haan Anu bhi bhaia se shaadi nahin karsakti...
R- Ok baba...lekin kyun...why? Aur Jiggs di, Adi bhaia Adi kaab se bangaye?
(At the same time Adi and Sahil say)
S- I like Anu!
Adi- I like Jigyasa!
(Bani expected Sahil but not Adi cuz he was so quiet the whole time. The girls look at them and are shocked but u can tell they are blushing too)
B- Kya...yeh kya hai...!!! (all serious)
S- Woh....bhabi..
Adi- Bani woh....
They look so helpless and tortured...Bani and Rano can no longer take it...they bust out laughing...they laugh so hard they need to sit and they grab their stomachs. The other four still cant figure out whats happening.
B- Uff....yehi toh sunna tha hume...tum logone bohot dehr lagadi.
S- Kya...
Jig- Bani...whats going on...
A- Iss ka kya matlab tha (they are kind of mad)
B- (now really serious) Hey...dont u dare...dont u dare get mad at me...tum charoon ne itne badi baath mujse chupaya. Adi Bhaia ko toh main samaj sakti hoon. Lekin Anu aur Jigyasa tum dono.
R- Haan...didi aap log ne tik nahin kiya...(teasing them)
B- Hum itne purane dost hai, aab Jiygasa main tumhari bhabi hoon...phir bhi tumne chupaya...dono aapas mein saab baath kehete teh aur mujse kuch nahin kahaan.
A- Sorry Bani...woh...
Jig- Hume laga tha ke aagar tum bhaia se kuch kehedo toh..
B- Itna bharosa nahin hai muj paar..
S- Haan..yeh kya baath hai Anu...tik nahin kiya tumne bhabi ke saath..
(She sends him a killer look. Bani goes over and grabs his ear)
B- Aap toh kuch bhi mat boliyeh dewarji...aap ne bhi kuch nahin kahaan...us raath Jigs aur Adi Bhaia ki baare mein baath karne aaye the...aur khud ka kuch nahin kahaan. Aaj saabid kar diya ke aakhir main aapka aapna nahin hoon. (Bani turns around and frowns. Sahil hugs her from behind)
S- Aacha sorry Bhabi...it will never happen again...i promise
B- Haan...yaad rakna...varna...no more lunch...(they all laugh).
They all sit in the hall drinking tea and talking about how it all happened. Adi tells them how he was...hell...IS scared of Jai...They talk about how they told the girls to stop calling them bhaia...Sahil tells them about the blue sari/music video...Rano and Bani tell them about how they noticed the changes...They dont want to tell Jai cuz its all new, so they want to wait until they r sure they are in love and want to be together...forever...Rano then mentiones the watches.
R- Aare aap theeno ka ek jaise watches hai..
Jig- Nahin ek jaise nahin..different style but same make...
S- Woh hum ne jaab party ke liye planning karrahe the to humne yeh watches dheka...We told each other we had a phone call. We then bought the watches but we didnt know that the others did to.
R- Isse yeh paath chalta hai ke mere theeno jiju ka ek hi pasand...aur kyun na ho...aakhir mere theeno beheno ko pasand kiya hai.
Jig- Bani...r u sure tum bhaia se kuch nahin kahogi...
B- Phirse ek hi baath...aagar kisi ne yeh baath ek bar phir kahaan toh main abhi unko phone kardungi aur saab batadungi.
S- Ok no more...
B- Adi bhaia..sorry...maine aapko pareshan kardiya...lekin mere paas aur koi rasta nahin tha.
Adi- No problem...aacha hi hua...aagar tum yeh nahin karte toh mujhe abhi bhi paat nahin hota ke Jigyasa mujhe pasand karti hai ya nahin. Lekin Bani...hum ek saath kaise bahar ghumne chalen...
B- Aap tension maath lijiyeh...main saab sambal lunga...
A- Becareful ke jiju ko kuch....
Just then Jai finally comes back home. They all stop talking and sit up. Everyone is serious and no one talks. Bani goes to get him some tea. She is walking back with the tray when she sees all four leave as Jai sits down. They merely say hi and then go. Jai finds this odd. He looks at Bani and sees her looking at those four and smiling. He thinks...how cute smile she has...
J- Aare kya hua...did i do something...woh kyun chalegaye...
R- Aare jiju...aap nahin samjenge...secret hai (she gets up and leaves too)
(Bani laughing)
J- What...kya secret...
B- Haan...woh....kuch nahin...Rano ka mazak toh aap jante hai. (she serves him tea)
Jai knows something is up, but he dosent know what. Its the first time that his family is so happy and giddy..its the first time Jai Walia is not in on a secret it seems like everyone else knows...he dosent like it...but then he does... he likes that is family is happy...he likes that eveyone gets along with Bani really well...if him being kept of of the loop means he sees Bani smile its all good...he likes to see Bani being so care free and happy...if she is happy he is too...
..Ch 23...Bani shocks Jai...all in the name of love...what will she do...stay tuned...id love to see your comments...
