Chapter 8

As the night was coming to an end Mr. Avinesh waits in his office for Ruma to report back to him. Sitting there he just can't seem to get Madhu's face out of his mind. She was stunning, a face that's so hard to forget. He was now to the point of obsession; he needed her to be in his film. No one can fit the heroine role better. Just then Ruma enters the room.

As Ruma stood and gave her report Mr. Avinesh was so surprised of what he was hearing. All of a sudden ,he just busted out laughing.

Mr. Avinesh: AHAHHAHAHA!!! Ruma they are perfect!!! Perfect for my film "LOVE TO HATE YOU"!!!... Have you ever heard of a story like theirs? NO. You would expect this type of thing in movies not in real life. HAHAHHAHHA

Mr. Avinesh has now decided that RK and Madhu were destined to star in his film. But first he had to mold his fine actors. That was always the best part of his job that he enjoyed.

Mr. Avinesh: First things first Ruma. I need to separate these two. I need to free Mrs. Kundra in order for her to grow as the kind of actress I need her to be. So in order for this to happen I need you to prepare 40 lakts for me, and also a group of lawyers that we have on our books. I need to free Mrs. Kundra without Mr. Kundra knowing, and we have to make sure he doesn't find out I am behind this. I can't have my Dark Prince refusing my film script now could I? HAHAHAHHA

Mr. Avinesh was so intrigued with RK and Madhubala's love story. He has never ever imagined that he would be so challenged as to try to tame these stubborn souls. Now he himself had a goal, to make his film a success, and if he has to separate these angry lovebirds to do it, so be it.

Back at the RK mansion the lovebirds were headed up the stairs to their separate bedrooms. But midway RK pulled Madhu aside and pushed her against the wall yet again.

Madhu: Pati-dev aren't you tired of pushing me against the wall? If you want to speak with me just say so.

With a his trade mark smirk " Biwi, I just wanted to ask you if you enjoyed being Mrs. Kundra in front of so many important people tonight?"

Madhu: Are you sure people really knew who I was? You were surrounding yourself with so many actresses; people might get confused.

RK: Ahaan. Are you jealous biwi?

Madhu smiled at RK playfully and pulled him closer " no pati-dev, you were the one that was clearly jealous tonight"

RK knew exactly what Madhu meant. He was hoping that she wouldn't have noticed how irritated Mr. Avinesh made him. He cannot allow Madhu to feel as if she had anything over him, so RK did the only thing he knew best, hurt her with his words.

RK: Biwi. How many times do I have to remind you that Super Star RK does not fall in love with a simple chawl girl. So how do you expect me to even be jealous? Don't believe me? Come to the studio tomorrow, where Mr. Avinesh will meet me, see if I care then.

Tears were welling up in Madhu's eyes. He was bringing back all the emotions of that night that she tried so hard to forget. She had given him everything; she had also been willing to give up everything for him. But he turned around and looked down on her status. Lied to her just to prove that he could write her destiny. She was not the Madhu he claimed he fell in love with; she was Madhubala Shamsher Mallik, the girl that he finally manage to break. RK sure knew how to silence her. She looked at him and continued to go to her room. As she entered her room she fell onto her bed. Smashing her face against her pillows as if trying to stop the tears from falling. "I hate him." Madhu felt so lost. She failed in love, and failed to even achieve her mission tonight to get her 40 lakts. She felt as if she was forever trapped by RK. She was even more depressed when she realized she didn't want revenge on RK, she just wanted to be free from him. As Madhu laid on her bed she prayed to her god to help her be free, she didn't know how long she could live with a person that doesn't love her at all.

The next morning everything was about to change. RK was determined to prove to Madhu he was not a bit jealous of Mr. Avinesh. While Madhu was ready for whatever RK threw her way. And as for Mr. Avinesh , he was ready to take Madhu away. Destiny has now carved a path for these three to bump heads.

At the studio RK was busy shooting a scene while Madhu was standing outside looking into nothing. She was just standing there to let the wind caress her. She felt that the wind was trying to comfort her, blowing all her troubles away. Right then she could feel someone beside her. It was Mr. Avinesh. It seemed that he had already arrived but hadn't entered the studio yet.

Mr. Avinesh: Mrs. Kundra. Don't say anything and listen. I'm going to make this quick and you have to give me an answer right away. I know of your contract with Mr. Kundra. Don't ask me how, I just know. I have a proposition that I'm going to offer only once. You are the perfect heroine for my script. I will give you 40 lakts to free yourself from Mr. Kundra. But only if you agree to be a part of my film.

Without any hesitation Madhu agreed.

Mr. Avinesh: There is a catch. Mr. Kundra may not know it was me who has given you the 40 lakts. Even though you will be free, you do understand that he will star opposite you in the film?

Madhu: Yes.

Mr. Avinesh: And one last thing, you will leave Mumbai for 2 years in order to learn how to become the actress that I need you to be. No one must know where you are, not even your family. Do you accept?

Madhu: Yes.

Mr. Avinesh: Ok. Be ready tomorrow morning. I will have someone come to the RK mansion at 6 am. You will have all you need to leave Mr. Kundra. How you part ways for 2 years is entirely up to you.

Just like that Mr. Avinesh proceeded to walk into the studio to give RK his script.

Madhu's heart was now beating out of control. Her mind swirling to the point she was getting dizzy. Did she really know what she was doing? Leave RK? Leave Mumbai for 2 years just to return to face him once again? Madhu knew she had to leave. There was no other way. By staying she would never be able to move forward. She doesn't want to end up crying like last night for the rest of her life. She will take this opportunity to rebuild herself. She will be able to free herself from RK's clutches tomorrow morning. She will make sure it's an exit worthy of Super Star RK. Just the thought of hurting RK a little brought a smile to Madhu's face because for once she will be on top, she will surely leave with a BANG.

As Mr. Avinesh entered the studio he was more than sure RK was best suited for his film. His talent was impeccable.

RK: Ah. I see you made it. So was my acting ok? (RK asked sarcastically)

Mr. Avinesh: Lets just say I know that I made the right decision to offer you this script.

RK: Honestly I just wanted to see how much you really wanted me in your film. I wanted to see if you would really personally come to hand me your script.

He sure is a cocky son of a b****. Perfect to be the dark prince, Mr. Avinesh thought to himself.

RK: Since you did come I will agree to the movie without reading the script to show my trust in you.

Mr. Avinesh: I really appreciate that Mr. Kundra.

RK all the while was searching for his Biwi. Where the hell did she run off to he thought.

RK: Bittuji!! Bittuji!!!

Bittuji: Yes Chief.

RK: Where is Biwi?

MR. Avinesh: Oh, I think I've seen Mrs. Kundra outside on my way in the studio.

RK: Oh.

Mr. Avinesh: But she seem like she was lost in her thoughts so I felt best not to disturb her.

Upon hearing that Mr. Avinesh didn't approach Madhu made RK feel at ease. He didn't want anything to happen between the two without his presence.

Mr. Avinesh: But I really do have to get going. I have a meeting to attend to. But I will have my people send you the contract for the film.

RK: I will be looking forward to working with you.

Mr. Avinesh: As am I.

As Mr. Avinesh walked out of the studio he thought to himself while walking pass Madhu, " Tomorrow will be the beginning of a new heroine, a dark heroine that will surprise the whole world."

As the day came to an end, RK was too tired after the shoot to find anytime to torture his Biwi so he just crashed onto his bed. But as for Madhu it was a sleepless night. She knew what was going to happen tomorrow morning. She had to mentally prepare herself for the big exit with RK. She had to be damn sure it was going to be the kind that he will never forget. Even though she was happy to be able to leave RK there was still a part of her that was breaking inside. She still loved him, but she hated him as well. But for only tonight, for the last time, she will sneak into his room to see his face. She managed to have enough courage to walk into his room for she knew he was worn out from work, so he should be dead asleep. As she approached his bed she sat right beside him, looking at the face that stole her heart and then shattered it into pieces. As tears started to form Madhu said her final goodbye to the man she loved…for tomorrow she will put on her very first performance for her Super Star RK. A performance of a lifetime.
