Chapter 16

As Mami walked out Arnav walked in... Mami stopped and gave him a dirty look and walked off in her weird way... leaving Arnav sad and hurt, Arnav walked in and saw Payal and Khushi chatting away, payals hand was on Khushi stomach he thought "I THINK THE BABY KICKED... I REALLY WANT TO FEEL OUR BABY" he closed his eyes in pain trying not to let the tears to fall and he walked into the washroom.

Payal: Khushi I will be back later on... you rest, Payal bent down and kissed Khushi stomach and whispered... and you my munchkin you be good for mum.

Payal got up and walked out waving at Khushi.

Khushi got up and smiled she didn't know why but she felt nice... it had been time since she had been in this room and she felt home! She walked around touching the shelf's and the pillows and the recliner. She sat down and smiled to herself and remembered her and Arnav fighting... she giggled and touched her stomach... "Baby... by the time your here I will still be in this room, this house and with... your dad but baby I won't let nothing happen to you! I won't let anything hurt you, harm you, or even let a tear in your eye! We might be here for a while! Don't hate me for keeping you away from your dad but baby he doesn't want us... he never did... Khushi dropped onto the bed and tears rolled down her face... I won't be weak... I will be strong for you... for us. A smiled appeared on her beautiful glowing face.

Arnav walked out and saw Khushi smiling while touching her bump... he smiled... "Khushi I think you should sleep... it quite late!

Khushi nodded and went to get changed into something more conformable...

Arnav made the recliner ready for bed and in some time Khushi walked out in leggings and a big white top that went to her knees... she had her hair out and no make up... and she still loved like an angel... Arnav couldn't take his eyes off her! She looked adorable and so cute! Her skinny legs and her big bump and her innocent eyes looking down... her hair flying around due to the wind.

Khushi: can you stop looking at me! I can't wear salwar when I am sleeping... I need to be comfortable... she said pouting

Arnav: sorry... Khushi... you look so beautiful

Khushi cheeks turned red and her eyes widen... "Arnav!"

Arnav smiled and looked away

He sat down on the recliner and lay down, looking at the ceiling... Khushi smiled and walked to the bed and laid down and also stared at the ceiling... after awhile Arnav fell asleep but Khushi stayed away... she was tossing around the bed left to right... she had enough and sat up... and sighed and let out a cry... tears un stopping rolled down her cheek... she moaned and climbed out of bed and still crying walked up to Arnav... she stood there looking at him but then when she continued crying she tapped his shoulder...

Arnav: what happened Khushi?

Arnav sat up and made Khushi sit down, he looked at her tears and his heart pinched him! He was worried and scared... he cupped her face and with his thumb wiped her years

Khushi: I can't sleep

Arnav: what?

Khushi: I can't sleep without someone next's to me...

Arnav: do you want me to get Payal?

Khushi: no don't disturb Jiji please... 'Sob' Arnav can you sleep next's to me please!

Arnav smiled and nodded

Khushi took his hand and made him sleep next to her on the bed... she slept on her left side hands on her stomach facing Arnav and she fell asleep in no time... but Arnav he just laid there staring at her sleeping... WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL EVEN WHILE SLEEPING?

Arnav touched her cheek and kissed her forehead and made her smiled and moan.

Arnav looked at her baby bump and smiled... he touched her stomach and smiled, he sat up and put both his hands on her stomach... ARNAV DONT PUT PERSURE ON HER... he smiled as he felt the baby kick... he smiled widely and roamed his hand around her stomach even more... he whispered... "hi baby... I am your daddy; I love you so much... I am so sorry for hurting you for hurting you mum... but I can't live without her... I am being selfish but I can't help it! I love you both so much... I did so many mistakes... but baby I won't let him take you away from your mum I won't let him even touches you! I know I have hurt your mum...I threw your mum out which could have hurt you... I wish I didn't! But what he is doing is worst... I just want to keep you both safe... Please forgive me!" the baby kicked and Arnav smiled... he bent down to kiss Khushi stomach and Khushi moaned in her sleep. Arnav lied back down and slowly fell asleep.

Once his eyes were close Khushis eyes opened she sat up, and looked at Arnav who was sleeping next's to her, looking like he was having the best sleep ever... she had tears in her eyes... she was confused, she touched her stomach and asked her baby "who was Arnav talking about?" she looked at him and she stared at him... acting like if she did he would tell her the answers she wanted.

"I will ask him tomorrow"

When Khushi had waked up and she turned to see if Arnav was there she found nothing but the empty space' she sat up and yawned, she looked at the time 7.00' Khushi smiled and wished her baby good morning and then she walked towards the bathroom. After having her shower she went down to the dinner table.

She looked at them sitting down waiting' she was a bit annoyed with the way they were staring' she just walked up to Payal and sat down with her.

Nani: Khushi betiya'

Khushi: I am not your daughter' so stop calling me as that

Anjali: Khushi do you want something?

Khushi just ignored her and asked Payal to pass her the bread' even though Khushi had promised herself never to be in the house and nor to eat with in this house but she had to because if she didn't her baby will be hungry so she ate not even caring. Arnav brought her here to fill the contract she will fill that and leave him.

Khushi: Jiji have you seen Arnav?

Payal nodded in no but when Khushi was about to reply Anjali said "Khushi' he had left for his meeting' shall I call him and tell him that you was asking for him?"

Khushi: no it's fine

Khushi got up to go to her room' well Arnav's room

Khushi sat down on the recliner and she took out her phone and made a call to Aditya,

Khushi: hey

Adi: hi Khushi

Khushi: how are you?

Adi: I am good Khushi' how's my little princess

Khushi: baby is doing fine' Adi I am sorry for just going with Arnav like this' he put up this stupid contract again' but don't worry I will sort it out

Adi: Khushi don't worry I will make sure you be home and with us' with me' Khushi I am missing you already

Khushi: hmmm

Adi: Khushi I talk to you later

Khushi: alright bye

Adi: love you

Khushi: bye.

Khushi put down the phone call and put it aside.

And started to think' ADI SAY HE LOVES ME SO MANY TIMES BUT I CAN NEVER SAY IT BACK TO HIM' I CAN NEVER MAKE MY SELF ON SAYING IT BECAUSE I HAVE ONLY LOVED ONE PERSON BUT THAT PERSON' DOESN'T DESERVE MY LOVE' I CAN'T LOVE ANYONE ELSE' BUT YOU.

Khushi smiled and then she looked down to her belly and said "well I love you' and that to so much' you are my Jaan I love you baby mum can't wait to see you. BABY I KNOW ARNAV DIDNT BRING ME HERE FOR THE CONTRACT IT SOMETHING ELSE BUT WHAT??

Though Arnav was harsh in the past but his longing heart to feel his baby's kick was so touching ..... those lines pushed me on the verge of tears 😭

Hey I just couldn't stop myself from quoting all these lines. I was overwhelmed by reading this convo. Arnav starting his convo with a 'Hi' was simply superb 👍🏼 😃

Loved Arnav whispering to the baby repenting his wrong doings & conveying his undying love for her & her mom, vowing to protect them & feeling elated the instant the baby kicked in response to his words & he showering kisses on the baby's mommies tummy

Oops! Khushi heard his convo, wonder what will be his answer on being confronted - will he say the truth, if said will she believe it, will she ask Adi about it(this might alert Adi & cause her trouble), will she mistake Arnav to be lying to snatch her baby....????? 😲

Khushi's self talk trying to reason out as to why she couldn't feel Adi's love in his words & then planning to figure out the the real motive behind Arnav bringing her to RM was well framed. Khushi was wise enough to ascertain that Arnav has not brought her for the contract but it would be great if she applies her smartness, if ever Arnav tells her about Adi's ugly plan & saves herself & the kid ... But wonder why still Arnav didn't talk to Payal regarding this???
