I will take that as a compliment. In all seriousness, the DSM will consider this more plausible that the rumors flying in the forum.

Back to GH though for a moment... At first no one really knew what was happening but slowly the viewers got to know that this character named Kate had another personality, Connie, who completely took over at times. Kate had started having blackouts and it was revealed that those blackouts would occur when Connie had taken over. When she came out of the blackouts she had no recollection of what Connie had done. Basically Connie was Kate's real name, a traumatic incident in her life as a teenager had made her repress that part of herself and she reinvented herself as Kate. Connie lay dormant for years but emerged because Kate was starting to fall in love with Sonny, who was Connie's childhood love and someone she now hated. In short Connie decided she would do everything she could to get Kate to stay away from Sonny .

That might be the most confusing explanation ever of the show but just wanted to say that it's been done on American television (this is just one example) why not bring the idea to Indian television?
