There has been another three month leap in this chapter and Khushi is now due.

Chapter 32:

He quickly turned on the main lights in the room and called Akash on his mobile. He could have called him but there was no way that he was going to do that. There was no way he was going to leave Khushi alone. Not right now. Akash and the rest of the family minus Akash ran into Aranv's room. There it was decided that the whole family minus Nani would be joining Khushi and Arnav in the hospital as someone had to stay back to look after Aryan in case he woke up during the night.

Arnav rushed and got ready not wanting to leave Khushi alone for a second. He drove like a mad man to the hospital whilst Payal sat in the back with Khushi and the rest of the family followed them behind in Akash's car. Arnav had called the hospital before hand and told them to be waiting so when they got to the hospital Khushi was placed on a stretcher straight away. The minute her hand lost contact with Arnav's shse started to call his name like a mad woman on a rampage. She only stopped screaming when Arnav stood beside her as they pushed the stretcher into the baby unit with his hand firmly placed in hers.

Khushi could see the pain etched on Khushi's face. He could feel how hard she squeezed his hands every time she had a contraction. When the contractions became less than a minute apart it was time for Khushi to give birth. As she held onto Arnav's hand with his support she pushed once, twice, three times. And finally after a final huge push a loud cry filled the room. Arnav just looked at Khushi and then to the new life in front of him astonished and amazed. He had tears in his eyes it was just a beautiful moment to witness. 'Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Raizada you have had a beautiful baby girl' said the doctor.

Arnav could just not stop the tears that fell freely from his face as he left the room to inform the rwst of the Raizada's who stood eagerly awaiting for the news. The second Aranv told them Anjali began to call Nani to let her know the news. After that Arnav raced back into the room where Khushi laid tired and exhausted with sweat dripping down her face. Even after having just given birth to a baby she looked breath takingly beautiful. He had been informed by the nurse that they had taken the baby off to be cleaned and would then be bringing her right back to them.

Arnav went to Khushi and sat down next to her. 'Hi' he said. 'Hi' smiled Khushi. 'You are really beautiful you know that?' said Arnav as he smiled at Khushi. 'I just wanted to say thank you to you Khushi. Thank you for giving me a chance to be a part of this. I never thought that I would get a chance to live this moment with you but I did. You brought our baby into this world. Even though it caused you so much pain you still did it. Thank you so much. Thank you for bringing our baby girl into the world. You are such a strong amazing woman you know that? I still can't believe that you are mine. It feels like you have just walked out of one of my dreams. I just can't seem to fathom how can so perfect want to be with me and love me so much that they are willing to bind themselves with me forever? I was not with you the first time around and for that I am sincerely sorry from the bottom of my heart. I am so sorry that you had to go through all of that yourself the first time Khushi I am so sorry' said Arnav.

'Are you finished? Can I say something now?' asked Khushi. 'Yes' nodded Arnav through his teary eyes. 'I love you' she said and with that threw her arms around his neck and gave him a hug. And just at that minute the nurse walked in with the newest Raizada addition. 'Mr. and Mrs. Raizada here is your little girl' she said as she handed the baby over to Arnav and left them to it.

'Hi baby' said Arnav as he sat down with the baby and moved over so he and Khushi were both cradling the baby. 'We are your parents' said Arnav as he bent down to kiss her cute little forehead. 'Welcome to the world Adithi Singh Raizada' said Khushi. And just at that moment the rest of the Raizada clan walked in. But before they could move Akash clicked the camera and that precious moment of Arnav and Khushi cradling their second bundle of joy had been capture and enclosed in a picture forever.

After that the rest of the Raizada clan took it in turns to carry the little bundle of joy before they left promising to come back with a change of clothes for the baby, Arnav and Khushi. Payal also promised to bring Aryan to see them right after his school was over along with Naniji. The Raizada's happiness knew no bounds today.

Not that they had not been happy when Aryan was born. They had. When Aryan came into their lives they had been beyond ecstatic. But they had missed out on all the big events in Aryan's life. And so all of them saw little Adithi as a blessing a chance to start over. And after ooing and aahing over Adithi for as long as they were allowed all the Raizada's minus Arnav left promising to be back first thing tomorrow morning.

After the rest of their family had left Arnav watched as Khuhsi began to breast feed Adithi. She was such a natural with her. He just watched amazed at how many roles this beautiful angel in front of him managed to maintain so well. She was the best wife a man could ask for. She was an amazing mother. A perfect daughter. And the ideal daughter in-law. Was there anything this girl could not do? Thought Arnav as he stared in awe like devotion at Khushi.

Once Khushi had finished feeding Adithi she burped her and then handed her over to Arnav who placed her in the crib and tucked her in gently as if she was a delicate porcelain doll. Once he was assured that Adithi was asleep comfortably he went back to Khushi's bed to see her asleep too. She must be exhausted after that he thought as he ever so slightly got into bed with her. The minute he did so Khushi automatically turned herself around and rested her head on his chest and slept comfortably.

18^th of December 2012. Arnav would never forget that day. It was one of the greatest days of his life. It was the day that God had granted him a second chance to be a father once more and do all the things and witness all those things that he missed out during his son's birth. He had been granted a second chance and he planned on using it wisely this time he said to himself as he wrapped a secure protective hand over Khushi and they both slept perfectly in sync.

So here was the penultimate chapter. I hope you liked it. And also I would just like to say that my Di aka (JennyAvni) gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on the 18^th of December called Adithi making me an aunty for the first time.
