I m having a Ariya fever since morning...n i m readin ariya updates. Sum tym Sneha asked me for d update n i dropped my laziness for her n wrote d next half of this part.
Chapter 8
Ria changed herself the very day. She decided to try move on in life. She participated in all d activities with Arjun. Arjun n ria : d pair was super amazing. Sameer often praised dem by seeing d sprit of playing in d duo. Sharmishtha noticed a change in arjun. She saw her brother enjoying all dese activities after a long time. She was happy seeing him like this. Whether it is water skiing, or be it any other sport, dey were just perfect. Arjun was happy seeing ria like dat. He felt a kind of satisfaction seeing her happy.
2 days passed merrily n Goa was in a festive mood. Just 3 days left for New year. Wen shree told dem all about a treasure hunt competition. Arjun was d first one to comment:"Wow shree ..dis seems interesting " Sameer :"Arrey nahi yaar…we wont b able to participate " All were shocked hearing dis from Sameer rathore's mouth, because he loved all dese things a lot. Shree:"Sam ..sun to le kya plan hain…n y r u saying no … listen we people will b taken to a island …we wud b in pairs of 2..n we wud b dropped in different parts of the place. We have to follow d map n meet at a point , once all 6 are assembled at d point, den we will combine our maps …..which wud b d code to crack d treasure…It would b fun yaar …" Sameer:"Shriya is not feeling since morning…" Shree:"Doctor ko consult kar lete hian na …sam please yaar chal na. Dun worry about security…if u want to backout at any point of time we can ask dem via phone." Shriya:"Sam kuch bhi nahi hua hian mujhe…I m fyn now …it wud b fun" Finally sameer rathore agreed. Its den shree told:"Teams ka abhi decide karna hain….i have to inform d company pre hand , me n sharmishtha will b together, n will cum from North side of island. Sam will b wid Shriya …u will cum from East end. N now we have Arjun n Ria…." Saying so he turned to face arjun n was trying to figure out his expression,"Tum dono north east border se aaoge …Okay Arjun" Arjun tried to figure out shree's words n decided to talk about it later.
A little after, wen every 1 settled in dere respective rooms after dinner, arjun went to talk wid shree in his room. He send sharmishtha to meet Shriya. Arjun to shree"Shree, u know I m not a diplomat so I m asking u straight, Y r u doing dis??" Shree:"Wat m I doing arjun….rather u shud ask urself wat r u doing" Arjun luked at him confused. Shree:"Ever since u know her, u loved her. Now when u have actually started moving on in life, den ria came bak again, n u r again just helping her out…see arjun I m not saying to not help ur frends ..but pls yaar atleast confess ur actual feelings to her. She has every rite to know that u have been doing this because u so love her n I m sure wo accept karegi tujhe." Arjun:"Shree r u mad, All dis while I m very clear about 1 thing dat I have not done all dis because I love her…I have been helping her out as a friend. I dun want to ruin our friendship." Shree:"Oh please arjun …..d biggest truth is u love her n u cannot see her living her life like dat…dat s y u did dis. Dekh I have planned dis trip so dat u can spend sum tym alone wid her ….pls bhai confess it." Sameer:"Kya confession ki baat ho rahi hia". A shocked arjun n an equally shocked shree, looked back n found sameer standing near d gate. Arjun:"Wat r u doing here??" Sameer:"Teri wo behen sharmishtha ….aa gyai mere n shree k rmace k beech n ria ko bhi le aayi …so I decided ki I shud see wat my frens r doing..par yahan to koi serious discussion lag rha hain???". Arjun:"Kuch bhi nahi" Sameer:"Oh please arjun..tell me wat happened ….shree tu bata ?? Ab to yeh arjun has started coming out of his devdaas waala Avatar, den wat happened now…." Shree:"Sam tujhe pata hai na ki Arjun met sum1 special last year…." Sameer:"haan n he instantly fell for her" Shree:"Instant nahi hian kuch bhi sam….1 thing u don't know is arjun earlier met d girl in Shimla academy n uske pehle at ur wedding" Sameer:"Wat??..u mean meri wedding par ?? Kaun??? " den as If remembering sumthing, sameer said:"Shree…arjun last year Ria se mila tha Goa mein" Shree:"Sam kya baat hian…bang on guess" Sameer was still in shock. He spoke after completely understanding d situation,"Arjun u still love her…den y dun u propose to her...tum dono bilkul ek jaise hi ho….Adventurous, full on life n tum dono ko 1 hi place pasand hain mere Farmhouse mein." Arjun gave him –r-u-seriously-serious-look. Arjun:"Sameer u r impossible ….i dun want to complicate things in between us. She consider me as a gud frend." Sameer:"U know wat..we have been trying hard to make her smile again for last 6 month…n arjun u did d magic in just 2 days….i know ria very well. She has a very strong will power, once she decides she dun want to do sumthing wo nahi karti, but u made d impossible possible. Shayad wo bhi nahi jaanti but I guess she also started liking u" Finally after a lot of arguing, arjun finally thot of atleast talking to her about it. Hardly any of dem knew dat sum1 else listened to d conversation.
[Some moment back, in shriya room, after sam exited. Shriya, sharmishtha n ria were Chatting. When sameer's phone rang and as shriya was not well, so Ria went to gave him his phone. She heard a part of conversation n thot that Arjun had feelings besides friendship for her, ever since dey met here. She misinterpreted it as sympathy. She was hell confused at dat tym. She just pretended to b normal infront of d trio, gave samer his phone n walked out of d room]
The next day:
Dey were all ready for d competition. They reached d island via boats. Ariya landed on North East side. Strict instructions were to not leave ur partner at any cost. Dere wud b certain traps in between d island. Sameer shriya, sharmishtha shree started dere journey from respective ends. Arjun noticed things were different today. While other 2 couples were romantically moving n finding dere way, ria was harldy talking to him. Ria was not angry but she was confused. While moving across d area, ria's leg was about to fall on a trap, wen arjun pulled her towards himself. She crashed on his chest, n without even thingking twice, she shouted,"WTH…yeh kya hain??? Wat do u think of urself." Arjun:"Wo dekho " pointing towards d trap. Ria,(realizing her mistake),"ohkkk sorry" Arjun:"Wat happened yaar" Ria:"Kuch bhi nahi..leave me alone. Lets complete dis treasure hunt first" Arjun didn't say anything thinking probably she s upset of something. Arjun n Ria nyways started following d map, if arjun said,"left", ria wud say "right". Though both were trained police officers, but dat day both of dem behaved very childishly, arguing wid each other at every turn. At a particular point in d forest, a road lead to 2 paths, arjun decided to follow path while ria argued for another. Arjun tried explaining her dat d path he s saying is correct, but ria was not ready to accept. Arjun was already getting irritated wid her antics,"Okay fyn…jahan jaana hain jaao ..i m taking dis path. If u want to cum den fyn, or u can go to d path u want to." Arjun angrily took d path n presumed ria wud follow him after him scolding her. Hardly he know, girls can b more cranky at times. Arjun was taking d path n after 2 minutes, he realized ria was not dere. Arjun turned back calling for her. Arjun:"Oh god dis girl ..is seriously mad. I hope she didn't took d path" Here Ria was going in an unknown direction talking to herself, "Samajhtha kya hain apne aap ko….I m already very angry on him. Now fighting over d map, as if I cannot follow d map...1 ce I m going out, I m gonna talk to him very clearly about his feelings…..how can he". Its den she realized sum different voice coming from her behind. She was scared initially, but den "Ria ..u r thinking too much, no1 s here….yahan kaun hoga..n dun forget u r a police officer." But den on second thots ,"par I m working only as a research specialist." Suddenly d voice became very clear. She thot of turning back n see wat was dat. Suddenly she felt sum1's hand on her shoulder n den Ria shouted,"Mummy….Arjun bachao bachao". Suddenly she heard a laughter n she turned to see Arjun laughing very badly. Arjun(controlling his laughter):" Ria tum kitna darti ho..tumhein police officer kisney banaya" Ria:"WT… r u mad" Arjun asked her again to come wid him, but she was adamant about the path she was on. Arjun den held her by her wrist n forcefully dragged her. Ria tried a lot to free herself, but all in vain. They took d path which arjun told, and within 15 minutes, dey were at d location where phase 2 will start. Probably dey have to wait for shree-sharmishtha n Sameer-shriya for phase 2. They were sitting wen arjun received a message from shree about his proposal. Arjun finally gathered all his courage n asked ria,"I want to talk to u" Ria knew wat he was gonna talk about so she said:"even I wanted to talk to u" Arjun:"Bolo" Ria:"Sorry but maine apki, sameer n shree ki conversation sunli thi. " Arjun's facial expression changed. Ria:"Y r u doing dis..u helped me as a friend ..Thank u so much. Par please yeh sympathy dikhane ki koi zaroorat nahi hian….Mujhe apki sympathy jisko apne pyaar ka name de diya hian …nahi chahiye. So please keep it to urself. U r a gud frend aur wo banker raho to acha hai..mere liye bhi n aapke liye bhi. " Arjun tried saying something but ria intervened,"Dekhiye I respect u..n dats it. Goa ki trip k baad probably hum kabhi bhi na mile. So please STAY away". Arjun was hell shocked at her behavior. He didn't knew how to react initially.

He wished to say his feelings for her, he wished talking to her, he wished clearing things but just wen shree-sharmishtha entered n he couldn't speak a word. Soon shriya n sameer also came. The treasure hunt was finished in next 2 hours. All this while ria avoided arjun. Arjun on the other hand was very upset. Now it was evident that he was hell angry. He was not talking to any1.
In the night, every body was hell tired, n dey all darted off to sleep. Arjun was in his room. He didn't even had his dinner. Shree came to his room, he had sensed sumthing wrong in arjun's behavior. Shree asked him d reason of arjun's sudden change of behavior n also whteher he spoke wid ria. Arjun initially retorted but den explained everything that happened. Shree asked him to talk to her n clear things out, but arjun was not agreeing. Arjun:"Wo samajhti kya hain…jo sochna hian sochegi…mujhe koi baat nahi karni..Shree u shud also go now. Leave me alone for sumtime."
Here in her room, ria was also feeling bad after talking to arjun like that. Ria(to herself) :"Y m I not feeling gud….i behaved very badly today…..kyun yaar…..Mujhe for d first tym bura kyun lag raha hian" With the new thoughts, she decide to sleep, when dere was knock at the door.
