actually ... i already hve doubt regrading this ... if barun is under contract , if he sign movie without sp permission ... he can be terminated and blaclisted by SP , same as they done with ziya ... most importantly contract is agreement of tems and condition between two parties ... if barun decided to take break , sp not allowed ,again he can be teminated ... but SP says they tried to retain him ,but they could nt ...

but fact is sp not blaclisted him , rajan sir stated they can work in future ... so if barun break contract , he can be blaclist , but if barun is hving contract , he cant take descision of break without proper consent of sp...

but it doest nt mean sarun cant be casted again ... according to me spamming to 4 lions is better option than sp... but right know it is not look possible ...if we keep demanding it can happen in future...

You raise a very interesting point!! UGH!! I don't know what to think! I'm so confused! I was under the impression that Barun was NOT under the contract of SP. Firstly, because SP aired that disclaimer on national TV, completely defaming him and putting the blame on him. You would think they would wanna protect an asset! Which led me to believe that maybe Barun was blacklisted. And secondly, SP could NOT retain Barun to stay back. My logic says that if an actor is under contract with a channel then the channel CAN force an actor to stay back...or am I wrong? Please correct me if I am!

But you're right about what Rajan is saying! Or are these trips, like the U,K one, a one-off thing where the actors, whether they are employed by the channel or not, are asked if they would like to be a part of an event, such as SPL, and then a contract is drawn out...Is that it? Then the argument where Rajan is trying to get SaRun to U.S does not hold good as it doesn't depend upon an actor being contracted with the channel for a long period of time.

It would most probably include doing weekend spl shows. Something similar to the Diwali and such. Atleast that is what I think!

OK want IPKKND season 2 or new show with SARUN. But that was not my question. Let us just check and see what SP has to say. We have believed the forum members, but in most cases it did turn to be not true. In any case, if he is not under SP contract those of us calling can call also 4 Lions, other channels like Zee which recently approached Barun. The only reason have been calling SP only is because of this contract issue.

dear, this was the bad strategy of a business establishment like sp..sp wl never the blame of ending a show on its shoulder that why this disclaimer n its not taken time to sort out this messy if sp wants..plus may b sp tried to retain barun but he determined with his decision infact i think barun also was known abt this disclaimer that i read in a post where tm got a mail frm sp there was sp was claiming,barun knew this disclaimer would b shown!

barun is under sp contract

1.an actor can be under extended contract of sp even when the show ends..just like pooja gor or sasural genda phool saas.

2.virat of ehmbh recently mentioned in one of his intervews that he is under sp contract wherein u get the permission to do flims after ur show ends(he clearly said it)

3.barun being do popular then its just not possible that he is not under sp contract(otherwise rajan would not ave mentioned time and again that they are working on bringing him back to usa,now thtas not possible if u are not under any contracr)

don believe star plus.. do you remember Rajan sir wanting to bring back barun and sanaYa .. Also wanted to take them to us. . If he was not under contract o star plus Wi would Rajan sir wOULD have wanted to take him.. I am sure he is pretty much aware o his contract status

spamming 4 lions is a utter waste, because if this PH would have shown little interest also to promote the show, these crap episodes after remarriage track like SHITAL-Aarav, and a open letter in forum 32 would not have happened.

As long as QH is on air in Zee, and also till it reaches its popularity, this PH will not think of anything and once this new baby becomes popular they will repeat the history of what happened to IPK.

Hence for me 4 Lions is a BIG NO NO.

Just call and ask. Not only a contract can be extended, it can be renewed and a new contract can be drawn. But that was not the issue. The issue was whether he is under a contract now. If he is not. Then why call only SP?

He had a contract till mid 2013 if he continued with IPKKND. That contract finished when SP closed the show. That was exactly what I was told.
