Loved Aarti's meltdown. Yash was phenomenal in that scene. Gamut of emotions flitted past in those beautiful eyes. First shock, then surprise, then concern and then understanding. I loved how he stood like a gentle giant and then walked away with his anger towards Prashant just simmering. How dare Prashant, even if it is unknowingly, hurt his Aartiji. That is probably what went through his mind. What I also liked was Yash was not hurt at the way Aarti behaved towards him. Or maybe he was but it was so insignificant compared to his concern for her. This I thought was a precursor on how Yash will behave once the truth is out and Aarti completely breaks down.

KS was phenomenal. I loved her expressions when she was talking to Shobha. She was suffocating today and it is only a matter of time before she completely loses it. 😭

I loved your earlier take on one of the episodes - I think it might have been yesterday's, actually - about how Aarti's fear of rejection is her majboori, that fear that is eating away at her, consuming her so much that she can't seem to find a way to ease the pain that it brings even though she herself feels immense guilt at hiding things from her family.

I can't seem to view this show in a dry, detached, clinical sort of way no matter how hard I try. The emotions always, always reach through the screen and pull me along into the world that these characters inhabit...

@blue: Oh, gosh! That simmering anger finally found an outlet at the end of the episode, when Yash asked Prashant, "Why does Aarti have so much anger towards you?" I LOVED how he started off almost thinking out loud, saying that Aarti is "suljhi" and "samajhdaar" (there was a touch of pride, wasn't there? Admiration for his Aartiji...) but then his concern about her behavior took over and he confronted Prashant about the matter with such seriousness that I was surprised. It's so touching that Yash is so troubled by Aarti's anger...*sigh* How far has our Yash come, from those days when he didn't even care to look at her photograph to this day, when her smallest change in mood is cause for concern!

I finally caught up on KS-GC in the ZRA performances (once i had figured out what ZRA was!! I tell you, more seems to have happened in tv land in these 6 weeks i have been away than generally happens in 6 months!! Or is it that PV has made me care more...)

First of - Mr. ZK - thanks for posting KS's solo - you saved me so much time 🤗- you are my hero of the day!!

I d.r.o.o.l.e.d!! KS was gorgeous in that black outfit! And is it just me, or did she perform better on that song than Kareena?? I certainly thought so. Her expressions were spot on. And yes she will definitely have way more than sattatar deewane now! One nit though - why did they have her behind that fene like thing? I wanted to see the whole of her.

And GC-KS performance - ooh la la. I just searched youtube for their one performance so did not have context for the show. I am assuming they were dancing in character. I toh totally saw Yash-Arti dancing there. Beautifully done!! And Jyo - lovely analysis of the performance - you covered it all girl.

But but but - who dressed up KS for the duet performance??? What were they thinking? 😡 She is utterly beautiful with a great figure - so why dress her up to look like a pillow????

By the way , I loved Kratika's expressions when she was looking at the Mirror the other day and asking herself whether she is Ok or not when she found yash had returned home !!! Wow...I think its for the first time after her Punar Vivaah , Aarti was actually looking out for her man restlessly and showing some interest in her way of dressing and trying to look much better infront of Yash!!! 😃 I just love that one particular scene so much...a woman in her had awaken!!!

And again Kratika was just outstanding yesterday especially when Aarti had her flashbacks with Prashant!!! Her instinct reaction of hate , anger, pain were clearly visible in her eyes and I liked how she had shut shobha too!!! And also she looks gorgeous in Yellow...Yash favorite color!!! 😳

@Kirthi: You are too cute, you know that? I coined the PPC term ages ago! 😆 Haha, but that would be one hilarious reality show if there was one. I think there are many, many couples who could participate...and I'd be rushing to watch PV and GK's performances instead!

@Kat: Haha! Did you get any recommendations from other people? I don't know if you noticed my little comment about your OS in the Diwali competition, but I absolutely adored it! It actually made me extremely moist-eyed...I can't wait for you to write more stories!

Edit: About the Dil Mera Muft Ka bit: Both Narayani and Kratika were on balconies for their songs...I thought it was cool how they used the stage/props in the acts although it would have been nice to see all of Kratika, I agree!

@All: Randomness about songs/lip-syncing: That is one of the things I love most about Kratika and the songs/dances she does...She FEELS the music and words of the songs and her expressions convey that understanding. That interview when she was shooting for her intro episode, where she said that dancing is much more difficult than horse-riding made me wonder how the episode would turn out...Lo and behold, she was super adorable and very fun in that song! Another early song that I remember liking a lot was Chanda Hai Tu with Aarti singing it as a lullaby to Ansh...Her expressions were so sweet!

I actually liked Kratika's outfit, Kat. 😛 I guess a dress would have been a better choice but I am not too fond of the dresses they usually wear during such dance performances, they are a little too flowy and fairy tale like. Kratika looked gorgeous nonetheless. 😳

Kat - I also would have preferred a different outfit for Kratika, but she looked gorgeous nonetheless.

Anu - I just looked at your siggy box. Was that Shefali Shah presenting Popular Face Female? I have liked her since Waqt. And that siggy of Aarti and Yash with those lyrics from one of Aamir's old films, that song is one of my favorites.

It was played during my aunt's wedding when I was little and since then I have fallen in love with the song.

Yep that was Shifali Shah. I think I first saw her in Antakshari or something, can't quite remember.

I like the song as well, but I liked the siggy effects better. It's such a dreamy siggy and scene is ... ☺️

Went back to look but couldn't find it. Glad you liked the OS - i was a bit hesitant about it. Haven't had time to write anything for a while, but just started on the next chapter for Soul Connections. You know, being as crack-brained as i am, i will probably write a story about Prashant one day!! I missed all the early episodes so never saw what happened with Arti-Prashant - and some ideas are brewing there...

If I actually had managed to write up my DotDs for that month - my god, that sounds pathetic, such a failure I am! - I'd have had something to refer...I guess you could read through the DCs and see? 😕 Good luck, though. Oh, I didn't comment in that thread, my comment was hidden around here somewhere, mentioned in conjunction with a compliment about Kadeen's story, since both of you made me moist-eyed and emotional! 😳 Hesitant? What? Whyyy? You write so beautifully that I was hoping for many more such OSs after that one! Ooh, will be on the lookout for an update! Yay! Ahah, I would be willing to read a story about Prashant if you're considering one...As much as I adore Yash and Aarti, I think I can tolerate Prashant a bit more than Arpita for some odd reason...Weird, because I'm not a fan of his being a potential kabab mein haddi (I love how Vineet/Prashant was nominated for that at the ZRA, haha) but Vineet is doing a good job, IMO!

And that takes me back to Kratika in that Prashant-Aarti flashback! *sigh* Beautiful, even more so due to the black and white coloring! She also seemed a lot younger, maybe because she was running around and laughing...Or maybe I'm just really tired right now.
