Part 28
The tempest of their passionate love making raged on unabated for a long time as Arnav could never seem to have enough of Khushi. Trying in vain to bridle his passions so as not to scare Khushi, Arnav was carried away by a tide of fierce passion that tonight even Khushi was unable to match. Finally, after hours, Arnav lay with his head in Khushi's bosom satiated.
"Sorry", he said muffledly. "I hope I didn't scare you".
"It's okay", Khushi said kissing his head.
Arnav lifted his head up and looked at Khushi tenderly. Kissing her gently on her forehead, he said, " Dinner?
As they sat together eating their dinner, Arnav asked, "Had you signed the contract for the new serial before leaving...?
"No", Khushi said. "I was thinking of going to the Channel office tomorrow".
After dinner, they sat together watching TV.
Surfing the channels, Khushi came across a film gossip segment of a news channel..
Her fingers stilled, hearing Arnav's name.
"You don't want to watch that", Arnav said asking her to change the channel, but Khushi was curious..
"The new bad boy of Bollywood", the screen screamed, much to Khushi's horror and shock. The news piece was about an alleged altercation between AR and a reporter of this news channel. AR had reportedly flown in a rage at the reporter's questioning and had used some colorful language which was thankfully beeped out on TV. It of course didn't mention anything about the reason behind his outburst.
"Arnav!! " Khushi exclaimed.
"I lost my temper...that b****** was so deliberately, provocative...so...in your face".
Khushi sat down on the carpet next to him. "But you can't do that, Arnav...you have to learn to keep your temper under check..or they will be after you".
"They already are...and I don't really give a damn about what they write about me", Arnav lied.
"You do..Arnav..you know you do".
Looking at her, Arnav said, "Well I try my best...but it boils my blood when they mention you in that disrespectful way".
"And to be frank, I don't think that keeping our marriage hidden is going to help at all...it doesn't matter when we announce it...their reaction will be the same".
Caressing her cheek softly, he continued, "We just have to be mentally prepared for it".
"Whatever you decide, Arnav, I'm with you", Khushi said...softly.
"I'm going to be very busy for the rest of the week, I have to rehearse for a performance with Mehr for the Moviefare award night..apart from a crazy shooting schedule, but I am going to ask Satish to start preparing for a press statement to announce our marriage after that".
Just then, Arnav's cell phone rang...
"I'm good, Salman bhai...how about you...?, Arnav smiled.
"No I'm at Panvel...I'm not living at Galaxy these days".
Khushi, a diehard fan of Salman Khan since she could remember, whispered, "The Salman Khan?"
Her eyes widened when Arnav nodded with a smile.
Arnav had met Salman Khan few times in the past month or so and they had hit it off instantly with SK pulling his leg mercilessly about the various controversies, he had become embroiled in immediately upon entering Bollywood.That he had had to deal with similar issues in the early part of his career was definitely not the least of the reasons.
AR had also signed for the next movie with Tabrez Khan productions, SK's younger brother.
SK said, "We have been trying to get a hold of your..er ..good friend Khushi Gupta...My home production has a movie offer for her".
"Oh she is right here", Arnav said impulsively and then stopped ...it was 1:30 am.
Arnav smiled and added quickly, "Salman bhai keep it to yourself...we married last week".
"My lips are sealed", SK said mischievously.
Handing the phone over to Khushi he watched as she talked to SK excitedly. He raised his eyebrow as she giggled and blushed like a fan girl.
Hanging up , Khushi said with her eyes shining, "Wow...I can't believe it...I have a meeting with him tomorrow...It's the role of an angel...SK thinks I have the most innocent and angelic face ever", she said blushing.
Egged on by the green monster, Arnav pulled her really close to him, "My angel only", he said stressing on the my, before claiming her lips posessively.
