Choreographer- turned -director Farha Khan's wedding is one grand affair. She is not only marrying once but thrice. And yes, to the same guy- Shirish Kunder. The festivities have been on for almost four days now. And being Farha Khan, she definitely has a whole lot of filmi friends, who are all enjoying the treats. The 6th of December saw the mehandi function at Farha's young actor Zayed Khan's place followed by her best buddy Shahrukh Khan's party.

</> | The king Khan threw the party at his bungalow where Sushmita Sen and the others partied hard. Once the two co-stars Khans had organized something for their friend, how could the brother Sajid and another Sajid, this time Nadiadwala be left behind. They threw a lavish sangeet at one of Mumbai's suburban five star hotels. And this sangeet was one helluva ball attended by the who's who of Bollywood, including the Bachchans, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and about 400 family and friends.
The sangeet included some singing by Sonu Nigam, her Indian Idol co-judge and the principal of her first film Boman Irani. There was also a skit performed by none other than Karan Johar. You can imagine, it was almost like a 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' Sangeet!!! And finally, the wedding day, which is 9th of December, saw three weddings between the Farha and Shirish. The first one being the most legal, it was a court marriage at 6p.m.
Then followed the south-Indian wedding at 6:30p.m, in which Farha wore a Kanjivaram sari and finally the marriage was sealed with a nikaah at 7:30p.m. Where she wore a turquoise blue and silver patiala salwaar and kurti. But the groom didn't have so many costume changes, he just wore a suit. So they actually managed marrying thrice in less than two hours. Hope they are so efficient in filmmaking as well!!! Anyway, if you think this is the end of the fairy tale wedding, then wait it's not over yet. There will be reception on 10th December, where Farha will be wearing another saree, this time a red and gold tissue.
To match the sari, she'll be adorning the set given by Sushmita Sen. So you can see, having friends in Bollywood really helps, someone sings, someone throws parties, someone gifts clothes and jewelry. So all in all Farha's wedding didn't cost much, as her wedding took place in her own house and so will be the reception. The only thing that they have to spend on is their three and a half day honeymoon to an island in Thailand called Kosa Mui. You are wondering why such a short honeymoon? Well, madam Farha has to return for her Indian Idol!!
