I made a bashing post just 2 days ago but now I am able to see a pattern forming. I am able to see an Arnav who has made things as clear as he could by clearly saying nothing happened between him and Sheetal ever, so is he completely wrong in assuming that he has managed to pacify Khushi's fear to some extent?
And then didn't u see the Arnav who knows his wife's antics too well, he knew when Khushi was faking the fall and the hurt. Who teases his wife, that light nose touching and teasingly saying, Khushi goal football mein hota hai basketball mein nahin. And who definitely cares, wasn't it obvious with his 'Khushi watchout' or his remembering Khushi as soon as Nani had mentioned the similarities once again, showing he is aware of her discomfort at the topic and so wanted to see for himself if she was fine.
And tell me what exactly is wrong with remembering ur college days or hi-fiving ur friend, though that was an awkward one, probably owing to them being exes as well as him knowing khushi was not comfortable.
Now when I attempt to understand Arnav, its not that I am disregarding Khushi's pain, her insecurities, they r very much justified. Now finally the CVs r giving us good glimpses into the extent of her pain, I mean she dreamt of being thrown out cz of jilebis, how can the creatives make it more obvious that just how insecure Khushi is, crazy dreams have always been her way of purgation, letting thing out.
Also, we r seeing what the CVs want us to see, didn't u notice wen Khushi was seeing Arnav sheetal and Aarav together, while Aakash was still there on the field. They want us to see things from Khushi's perspective for now, and thats wat we r doing, we r empathising, in fact identifying with her. Arnav's side is still to be dealt with, I mean if I were in his shoes, I wouldn't have let the DNA thing go just like that. CVs should definitely show what he is thinking a little more.
Now in Arnav Sheetal interaction, I do not see a sexual pull or tension, atleast frm Arnav's side, its more of a friendly banter mostly and a friendly understanding at times, though I am not realy sure of wat Sheetal is actually thinking, cz there is definitely something frm her side. But then again she could be both a jealous bitch or a dejected lover, doomed to one-sided love.
Now finally I think wat the CVs r trying to show is true love is all well and fine, but a perfect marriage needs a lot of hard-work. the sheetal Aarav track is introduced probably to once again highlight the stark difference between Arnav's and Khushi's world and believe it or not but both these people r deeply rooted in their respective worlds. Now they need to come at a common level in order to interact completely, wholely and Sheetal might just be a trigger for that. Now we have seen that Arnav as a person has changed hugely, moving from greys to almost whites. Now the scope for change in his character was huge and so is easily seen. While Khushi has almost always been good, not the pure white Gopi kings but good nonetheless, so the scope for growth becomes quiet limited. Now we also know that she is both a child and a woman, taking personas as the situation demends, but with Arnav most of the time she is aa child, be it fighting him, or now loving him. Maybe this will make her maturer. Seeing just how conventionally perfect Sheetal and Arnav are, she might just try to transform herself as well. Now what would be really interesting to see is how Arnav reacts to it.
So for now, I have decided on wait and watch as my near future agenda, lets see what happens, but last night I enjoyed the episode, the conflict is finally getting more nd more clearer.
BTW, I have started a SS on this track, the initial attemt of which is to try and understand what Arnav and Khushi r going through, and I would be delighted if u go through and leave ur comment as to what u think about it. herz the link
