Ash the family and Arnav are being shown this way because it is the only way to make this track work. It is tough for us to watch Khushi suffer but it is also essential, we all want to see character growth for Khushi but that will only happen when Khushi lets go of the demons that haunt her. The insecurities, fears, low self esteem will have to vanish for Khushi to start her life on a clean slate. It is just like what we had to watch with Arnav, now it is Khushi's turn.

This time.. not feeling it. Maybe it is just bad direction, detached acting and terrible screenplay.

I see the point israt is making because.. ASR being this oblivious of Khushi's angst is hard to accept.

100% agree with you. Even now I am not over him making Khushi sleep at the pool during first SR. It is mainly because after Holy, things didn't go as per most of our expectation. And the biggest issue for me is, there is no proper face-off between Shyam and Arnav about Khushi. IPK is about Arnav-Khushi-Shyam. All three strong characters, one innocent, another rude but dil ka sachcha and another obsessed lover (with some background story).

After the hate marriage and showing so much of hatred, it was very much needed for the CVs to show him fighting with Shyam for Khushi. And this never happened. Instead of Arnav, Khushi fought with Shyam. That too feeling so horribly low about the way she has taken to fight with Shyam. I liked Khushi fighting with Shyam for Arnav. But never got to see Arnav fighting with Shyam for Khushi. CVs didn't show Arnav acknowledging the trouble Khushi has taken from Shyam because of him.

There is no doubt about Arnav's love for Khushi. He will never ditch her in the future also. He is not Shyam. But his insensitive nature is definitely not acceptable especially after seeing the DNA report in Khushi's hands. He will change in the future after some major issue. But once again that will be late.

Any other man (including Akash) behaving like this still fine but not Arnav because he himself knows how any MU can create havoc. And also his past (in India, not in Harvard) is the biggest reason for him to worry about Khushi's insecurities.

After hate marriage, Khushi didn't know what was bothering Arnav but here Arnav knows what is bothering Khushi. It is not the first time he is seeing her sanak during problems. She behaved like this during the end of contract marriage time. And that time he caught her red handed and properly guessed what is bothering her. But now even with the proof he is not able to see it.

Anyhow, it is a build-up for the big MU. Hopefully, he will make it up.

Love...just love all the posts today! Really helped me to both identify and understand why my heart is breaking watching these past few episodes.🥺

Kushi's pain and jealousy are being fabulously conveyed by SI. Kushi literally seems like she is shrinking and becoming an outsider in RM. Poor girl cannot even catch a break when making and serving jalebis..Like protective parents, Arnav and Sheetal in unison stop Aarav from eating them! Felt Kushi's pain there.

Was so sad when Arnav failed to fuss over her "foot injury." In the good ol' days, that would have earned a sexy foot manipulation and a "tum theek ho" but nada today.

I understand the necessity of keeping Kushi bereft of comfort from others..but man, is it sad to watch. I just feel like giving her the biggest of hugs.

I also enjoyed the Kushi dream sequence today. Prior posters made a great point about the scene establishing Kushi's belief that Sheetal and Aarav may be better suited to Arnav's world. However, I also enjoyed it as I looked at the scene as a "tongue and cheek" poke at other serials which would not hesitate to have this type of scene actually occur...the prior wife being kicked out by the hubby and other woman/old flame. This makes me happy as it just reinforces my belief that the CVs would never have Arnav willingly choose Sheetal and Araav...the CVs poked too much fun to use it themselves.

I liked today's episode more than any other this week. It made more sense on a whole.

Liked the promo..am super excited to watch the ME.

Had more to say, but have forgotten what it was...LOL it's my Mommy brain trying to function on too little sleep and too much to do!

Yes Arnav should should be tuned in to Khushi's pain but realistically speaking this track would not last a week if he was not shown to be dumb/ clueless/ insensitive. I do not like it either and it does seem like a big disconnect with the ASR who could always feel her pain. That is why it is very essential that this does not be dragged much further. Khushi needs to snap and leave or Arnav dimag ki batti needs to jalofy no later than next monday..

When he met her at work or afterwards he had no clue about Khushis thought process...but now he knows so its natural for him to be awkward around Sheetal...Its natural if any wife makes the kind of accusation Khushi made, the guy will be awkward around the other woman if only to make sure to not feed on his wives doubts...now its true in some cases it ends up doing the exact opposite.
I am not arguing he is slow, clueless blah blah...but he is not effected by Sheetal, and that I have no doubt about.

Zinny I agree with you...its not because of anything he feels for sheetal...I am sure its still "meant nothing"...and thats how he was reacting all this while...now he is probably wondering if khushi might read something into it...he also registered Nani's comment about Arav...until then he had never even registered these things...and most of them were said when he was not around anyway...so slowly if hears more of these remarks he will probably realize what drove Khushi to do the DNA test...and part of it also because I am sure Arnav is miffed with Khushi about the test ...he is not angry...but he is a little cold because of her doing the test behind his back...but all this will take a while and in the mean time Khushi will keep hurting more and more...and Khushi hurting is always very painful to watch...I almost couldn't watch yesterday...so we are going to have a rough time...and Arnav will be crucified by the fandom...

@Red - I really have no hopes what will happen when Shyam comes back. If he just comes back and trying to be nice, Arnav will fight with him for Di. I am guessing he will be back when Di finds a new life partner. Arnav's batti will be lit if Shyam tries to harm Khushi - that too in-front of him. Behind his back, if he tries to harm Khushi, then Khushi herself will fight with him with the help of NK/Bankelal/Happy singh.

@Blue - You are right. If Arnav understands Khushi's pain, then this track would have gotten over fast.

Loved this part of the episode! Finally...Arnav had a "tubelight on" moment. Just a flicker, but enough to give me some hope that he will be able to eventually appreciate what has driven Kushi to the breaking point!

Got to go...won't be around online today...wet stormy day here again...yesterday was the same...catch up with u girls tonight...stay calm... it will all get better...it has to...the story is about ArHi after all...and ArHi have weathered all the storms and will weather this one too...hugs to all of you...we are all going to need a group hug to be able to watch Khushi through this...
