What a waste of a bday!!!

Also want to add she was kind of sadistic...Ok u dont want to celebrate my way lets teach u a lesson...simple breakfast , horrible lunch, make sure the family doesnt wish u, send the cake back, cry and make him feel like jerk then add on to say she has changed and he hasnt..I mean the guy is just NOT ASR anymore...very soon will be exactly like khushi..

BTW she went to the office to have lunch with him why??? to see him suffer the horrid lunch...
I was confused by Khushi today and angry with the cvs

I mean it was like she is getting the satisfaction that he is suffering becoz he said no to her plan !!!!!!

I have very little hope with the new entry...I am sure they will make ASR look like a fool Khushi will be doing OTT with the kid...and will overlook his feelings...

I wish the New girl is smart intelligent and give WHOLE LOT of compliments and attention to ASR.

hope the venting helped 😆. if day before made me sad and everything felt claustrophobic, yesterday i was gobsmacked and utterly confused. what happened with the writing? such a huge gap. one day you show she's busy setting up something, the next day everyone is ignoring bday boy on her request, karela being fed, cakes sent back, boy royally ignored. but to what end? i just didn't get it. then came that whammy of who has changed for whom. this is to me clearly a lack of creative direction issue. the actors are struggling to keep things together. the story is lost, the characters crumbling. a very star plus serial feel overtaking the whole thing.

and if that new girl doesn't smother him with attention, i'll😡. but then is there a new girl?😆

venting done, we'll just go right back and watch and hope, as long as we can. right? great talking to you.

I love ASR... he is the only character in IPK who had a gradual yet a constructive growth... I wont say much about khushi... CVs are to be blamed for creating a mess of her character 🤢

sunflower, that is very very sweet of you. i try to be objective. actually, khushi is a lovely girl, making her this asexual, holier than thou, flat, moralistic, and stepford wife mixed with devi creature is really upsetting me too. asr and khushi, yin and yang, dragon and the phoenix, neither is everything and complete without the other. one goes down, so does the other. that's how beautifully matched they were by these same creatives. wonder why all this strife now. maybe it will improve. got to hope. thanks for coming to the thread and chatting, i enjoyed every minute of it.

hi monsi,

you are right about asr, the evolution was arresting and neatly executed. same could have been done with khushi, not in a staid predictable way, but by equally looking for her surprising traits and showing how love released and transformed her too. no idea why, but the creatives didn't go there. right now she is not in a very good place, praying for her, and drinking lost of whisky 😆.

Just wanted 2 share my personal experience to drive my point.

when i got married it was arranged & i hardly knew or understood him. v had lots of fights & misunderstandings post marriage due to his mom. My 1st b'day he just wished me & that's it. He dint even buy me a sweet or cake. I cried the whole night & fought with him. He said this is the way i am. I feel v r no longer kids to wear new dresses, cut cakes & celebrate our b'day. What's the big deal? This is how I am, Take it or leave it!

On his B'day i was not well but still went to the shop bought him a card & a gift (ganesh murti). He was v matter of fact bt it & again i cried.

Basically on spl days like anniversary, b'day etc i love all these pretentious things like gift, dinner outside etc. He simply believes in spending time at home lazing around, doing nothing.

9 yrs later where r we? Bef my b'day itself he gives me a dress or teddy. On the day he simply wishes me & gets me sweet/chocolate.

On his b'day i simply wish him & prepare all his fav dish. He gobbles them down & gives me a wonderful smile.

So Basically I have learnt what makes him happy & spl on his spl day & vice versa.

Don't see that growth here in ARHI 😕

Of course ppl ll claim that it took 9 yrs for me & hubby. But 2 things. This understanding came long back not aft 9 yrs. I am just telling the current situation. Also ARHI r supposed 2 understand each other perfectly then y no such growth in their relationship?

I liked Khushi character up until LA was in the show, the change started after LA left and had to bear with that party scene where they made Khushi into a petulant child, obnoxious and showing utter disrespect to foreign cultures.

All her OTT tracks have made Khushi into insensitive and bratty.
