An episode of revealations and realisations...

Anjali Manohar Jha...a wife who had immense faith in her husband,who stood against the world for her husband even when the whole world said otherwise,even when the proofs suggested something else.Today,her dream world is shattered by the same man whom she worshipped.The man whom she trusted more than her ownself killed their unborn child for the sake of money,property ?!!.She stood frozen,seeing her beautiful bubble burst while her diabolical,maniacal husband spitted venom,at last taking off the mask of pseudo goodness revealing the vile,comtemptible deadly devil lying underneath it. Anjali feeling betrayed,choked by the Mangalsutra tied by her "husband" finally rips of the bondage and frees herself...cut back to many episodes back when the same mangalsutra had torn and Khushi picked up the pieces to tie it back for her and Anjali had been distraught by the incident,praying to Devi Maiyya for her husband's safety. Now the very same Anjali rips of the Mangalsutra herself👏

Still shocked and numb she tries to leave the hall and take refuge in her room to give vent to her pent up anguish.This is the cue for the slippery Shyaam who feels that he can still dupe his "wife" and he tries to pull the wool over her eyes.He accuses Chote and Khushiji of hatching a plot to defame him,to separate him from his "Rani Sahiba" and even shamelessly tells that his confession was under the influence of drugs administered by the family.He dares to mention about the unborn child that he murdered and then something snaps in Anjali who till now was frozen.She turns and slaps him hard and atlast tells him that she hates him now,even more than she loved him.

ASR drags Shyaam out and hands him to the cops that NK had fortunately called and a chapter in the lives of RM wasis gets a closure.Arnav realising the fragile condition of his Di runs to her to be her pillar of support ably supported by his ardhangini...Khushi.

Anjali comes to her room where each and every article reminds her of the great dhoka that she has faced and how her simplicity was misused by the devil.She breaks down inside but then ...Anjali Singh Raizada rises from the ashes of Anjali Manohar Jha. She wants closure from this chapter of her life and starts by burning the memories associated with the devil...ably supported by her Chote and Khushiji and the rest of family.

The moment of the day was

This was when she accepted the fact her marriage was a farce and a lie

This was when Khushi had come to tell Anjali the truth of Shyam but her mangalsutra broke Khushi caught it and Anjali fretted over it which made Khushi hold back information that had consequences for Khusihi Anjali and Arnav

Today she herself broke that flase bond the betrayal of her love and trust she proved to be Arnav Singh Raizadas Sister

This came around in a circle today

Twice Arnav Singh Raizada has thrown out Shyam last time he trusts khushi without evidence today he again trusted her plan to oust him form the house

Shyam today confessed to kidnapping him

the CVs have left the option open of Khushi being the victim of Shyams plans along with her dad which may indicate his come back as well plus dadi is also out of the loop so would it be next time dadi and shyam together try and break Arnav and Khushi and this time Khushis dad stands up as evidence against his doing remains to be seen.

Today I won't write about my reaction, I will write about the character's reaction...

Anjali, the mother: Anjali lost her baby which is hard for any mother. But I did not feel the pain coming through. She wiped out the memory of her miscarriage like a sad memory better forgotten. A mother, even in the midst of all merriment, still feels pangs of empty womb. Anjali never even remembered her baby beyond getting her husband back.

So it felt to me that she was reacting more as a betrayed wife than avenging mother.

Anjali, the sister: Today Shyam confessed of murdering her baby. But he also confessed of attempting murder of her brother, her Chotey, her first baby.

But what she focused on?

Her own pain, she was duped in love, her unborn baby was murdered by him (never mind, she completely aided him in the murder), her belief was shattered, her dreams were broken, her betrayal... HER HER HER...

Who is Anjali's priority? HERSELF...

Arnav, the brother: Today he staged the whole drama because Shyam murdered his sister's unborn baby. His focus, all through the drama, was on his sister's reaction. He stood like a rock beside her all through.

Every woman should get a brother like Arnav.

Arnav, the husband: Today Shyam also pointed finger at Khushi's character, again...

Today Arnav kept his mouth shut, again...

Today he did not live up to his vow of protecting Khushi's honour, again...

When I protested last time he kept his mouth shut and heard Khushi's honour being smirched, every phangurl said that he is confused. He does not know the whole truth yet.

Today, he knows the whole truth. What is his excuse for keeping his mouth shut? Why didn't he defend Khushi's honour today?

What did he focused on?

Anjali's pain, she was duped in love, her unborn baby was murdered by him (never mind, she completely aided him in the murder), her belief was shattered, her dreams were broken, her betrayal... HER HER HER...

Who is Arnav's priority? Anjali...

Now before anyone jumps down my throat saying a wife and a sister/mother are not the same relationship, I completely agree with that.

You grow up with a sister/mother. You have blood relationship. You can't help but love them.

But a wife is someone who is not tied to you by blood, yet part of your flesh; has no obligation towards you other than a handful of vows, yet stands by you through thick and thin; does not have to love you, yet loves you more than anything else in the world.

She leaves behind everything she holds near and dear to make your home, give your family her entire life, bear your children.

Then why is she treated like a second class citizen? Why concern for her should come last in your thoughts? Why her feelings, her pain, her tears does not deserve your consideration?

Why avenging her honour is not important to you?

You can flirt with her, you can romance her, you can sleep with her... But you can't defend her honour in front of whole family.

Having a husband who is willing to fight for me the entire Canadian Government if needs be, made me realize that I'd rather have someone who values my feelings as the top priority in life.

I hope every woman gets a husband like that who puts you before even himself.

Today again Khushi had to plead to Anjali to believe her. Why? Because again Arnav did not defend her honour. That scene made me cringe inside.

Khushi's honour is worth begging? Why does she had to beg to everyone to believe her every damn time?

Why Arnav never roars that, "Shut up. Don't you dare say a word against my wife. She is my pride and my belief. She does not need to justify anything for anyone."

But he didn't.

Phangirls don't like the comparison. But if Shyam had said Anjali was characterless and had an affair, would Arnav still remain as silent?

No. Because indeed, a sister/mother and a wife is different.

Hello all my DC-ite friends.

And how are you today? Just finished watching the epi after a wonderful dinner out with friends.

What an epi! the cheese factor was high.. higher than the best stinky blue cheese but just as yummy!!

Shyam groveling --- oooh ! that was a treat for sore eyes. Anjali's slap - I liked it.. but I liked her expression just before the slap better.

What I am loving are the intense discussions on DC. This is so cool. So many points of view and so many to defend them, with a healthy respect for each other! This is truly a wonderful thread.

Megs, Beens, Ruby, Ritu, Lizzy, Saaru, Payal - my gutter friends - are we ready for some gutter or what? ps.. awesome posts as usual guys. - Beens not you... you get your 'awesome' only after Friday... 😛

Drama. Sammy, Sana, Tia, Bella, Bidz, Radha, Jammy, Fuzzy, Kushi, Maham - love your chats. I am having so much fun just reading your conversations! (Did I miss anyone? sorry if I did)

Riyya - Special note for you. Thank you for asking after me. I am traveling these days, so I cannot post. But I will be back to posting from next week. With so many good episodes, sometimes I wish I were posting

Fabulous episode. 👏. Fantastic performance by everyone. Everything was soo perfect.

Loved that the family, especially Arnav waited patiently for Anjali to make the decision. Silently supporting her. But not rushing her.

Loved that, the moment Anjali announced her verdict, ASR took over. Loved that NK had the sense to inform the Police and got the legal aspect of the situation covered.

But, all said and done, for me,

Today it was all about Anjali. Four years ago, she proudly and in love accepted the tittle

Mrs Anjali Manohar Jha. Till to date, she has been very sincere to that tittle.

As she herself said to Shyam, even when the whole world was against you, I believed in you and I stood by you.

I loved you unconditionally.

Today, on her wedding Anv day, she shed her title. She finally came out of her delusion. Saw Shyam for what he was. Realised he is no Romeo. In fact he is a killer. A psychopath, who killed his own child,

Who proudly admits of such heinous act and would not hesitate do away with anyone for the sake of money. Truth hit her hard today. She was burned to ashes. Anjali Manohar Jha, burned to ashes. Raised from the ashes, Ms Anjali Singh Raizada. Soft but strong women. Who can and will control her own life.

First step towards a new begining,

She slapped Shyam hard. how dare you take my daughters name? you filthy creature. you donot have any right on her. I hate you to the core and get the hell out of My life. stay out for ever. you do not have any place in my heart or in my house. Burned all his stuff. Said good riddance to bad rubbish. She is now ready for a new chapter.

And so are we!

Todays IPK left me emotionally drained. At the same time I felt much relieved and very proud of Anjali.

I am all set ready for some light hearted, fun filled romantic episodes. 😉. Need that to recoup all the drained energy.

This is not the end of Shyaam Manohar Jha...Simply because it can Not be!!

There are still many loose ends left to be tied! And my SKD remains a SKD .

Will Babuji ever come into picture? Or it will always remain just a khwaish of fans?
How will SMJ strike back?
Will they ever show how relentless Shyaam was in pursuit of Khushi??
Will Mami shower khushi with love , now that she knows the true face of her damaadji?
When will we see Dadi knowing the truth about Shyaam? Oh how badly I want to watch that haughtiness getting evaporated in thin air...when she realizes that a mere mortal man could easily make a fool out of the Mighty Subhadra Malik!! oh,I can imagine the happiness bursting inside me while watching that!!😆

Maybe these questions can wait! Atleast till the end of my post😆..Doing a quick analysis for today! So please bear with me..

The Evil gloats and boasts! Feels proud of his deeds including his attempt on Arnav's life. I am glad that atleast that part of the story is out!

For Anjali, it is the ultimate blow!! The man she trusted with her life has not only taken the life of her unborn child but made an attempt on her Chotte's life too! The deceit is too much to bear, the fury overwhelming and in response she breaks her mangalsutra...thus breaking the chain that was binding her to this sham-of a relationship!! She is free from this bond today, free from the lie she has been living all along!!

Loved the cold fury in her eyes while breaking the manglasutra followed by her collapse!! A woman who had held this sacred bond with utmost reverence,now herself disregards it. And thus the emotional breakdown is understandable.

For Shyaam, it is when he sees the broken beads, sanity penetrates his mind! He realizes his folly and tries his best to lay the blame on Arnav and Khushi, hoping to see the old "Raani Sahiba".

The voice of Shyaam, denying the accusations again, blaming Arnav and Khushi for trapping him and deceiving him..revives her! She rises like a phoenix who has just been burned down!! A new Anjali gets up, with a new life, new resolve!!

I loved the shot of her moving away from the fallen-beads. She ignores it, walks by from the side and moves away! Just like she has moved away from Shyaamemotionally a few moments ago! And Shyaam sees that..and understands the meaning of that.

He tries his best again to make her believe him and literally pleads with her to listen to him!!She doesnt stop in her strides as his pleas fall upon deaf ears! ..Until he starts blaming Khushi. I liked the way Anjali just stops suddenly the moment Shyaam starts accusing Khushi, trying to slander her character once again! It is as if Anjali couldnt believe the gall of the man to put this on Khushi's shoulders!

Khushi runs to her and appeals to not listen to him this time. But Anjali is listening...probably for the first time, she is listening! She turns and again probably for the first time reads his eyes and sees the evil lurking behind! The pain and rage pushes her and she slaps Shyaam with all her might!!

The whole segment belonged to Anjali today! From the 1st shot till the end, my eyes were fixed on her!!The betrayal is breaking her heart and crushing her world..but more than that, it is fury and hate that engulfs her!! The man she worshiped more than Almighty, the man she trusted with everything she had, the husband she loved more than herself has murdered her child, tried to kill her brother and proved today that he has never loved her! The only thing that she ever asked was never given to her!! And every moment that she had cherished was a pretense.

And Anjali Singh Raizada is not a woman who would take this kindly! So she rightly tells him that she hates him..much more than she loved him..👏

Arnav, who is patiently waiting for this moment, gets his cue! The minute Anjali asks Shyaam to go from her life forever, he moves for the kill. Holds the man from his collar, with fire and fury in his eyes and throws him.

What I loved most in the scene was the way shot was played out. I dont have a pic of that moment, Otherwise would have def pasted one😳... Shyaam is staring at Anjali who is being held by Khushi. So Shyaam is facing both of them. And an furious Arnav arrives, holds him ,turns him and take him out of the life of the two women he loves to death!! very very nicely done!! CVs 👏..

The minute Shyaam goes away, Arnav's focus returns to di. I liked the way he runs to her as he knows she needs him at this time. Not just he, but everyone in the family knows it.. And that's why the minute he hugs her, there is a collective sigh of relief from everyone!! Liked this nuance!😊

Loved the way Anjali hugged Arnav back! A sweet moment.

Also nice to see her burning away Shyaam's stuff...thus completely trying to remove him from her life!

Arnav is the only one who appears calm at her doing this. Nani and Khushi are visibly shocked with naniji trying to stop her from doing this. But I am totally with Arnav when he says that Anjali needs to do it! Yes she does...in order to free herself from the clutches of all those memories!!

Loved Daljeet today! In my opinion she was perfect! Just the right amount of pain, disbelief, followed by heart break and absolute fury! She didn't overdo any emotion and for that I am really thankful! Even her collapse was done with grace and I connected with her!! Brilliant job!!👏

Barun and Sanaya, both were good.. though I felt Sanaya was more on the spot today than Barun. Maybe the editing thing! The place where I felt Barun was excellent was when he drags Shyaamu away! Or maybe it is just one of those Arnav moments that I can find no fault with!!😆

Abhaas continued to enact Shyaam's madness well!

For rest of the parivaar, I wanted to see more fire! That's the only thing I felt was a let down.. More angry reactions, maybe more dialogues of other family members, their angry gibes at Shyaam for daring to do something like this...Anything of this sort would have made me happier..But I guess, the episode was dedicated entirely to Anjali and her reactions and thus this part was lost somewhere!!

Other little points to ponder:

Everyone is happy when Anjali slaps Shyaam. And I sigh in relief! Everything is normal in the world again...😆
When Shyaam blames Khushi for being after him,I would have liked to see a more furious reaction from Arnav. Actually, at that moment, Payal looks more angry to me than Arnav does!! Not sure why?😕
When Khushi apologizes to Anjali for bringing out the truth in this way, I could see gratitude written all over the faces of Nani and Mami! Good to see that!!
After police takes Shyaam away, Anjali is shown in her room while everyone else is downstairs! Why? why would the family members leave her alone at a time like this and then run at her scream!! That was so not natural!!😕
Not sure why Shyaam went see-sawing today! He gloats about his achievements and how "bura" is he...and then suddenly he starts acting innocent!!😕
When Shyaam starts her "I am innocent" naara, everyone in the family is pleading with Anjali...with their eyes!! They are asking her to believe themover her husband!! Liked the expressions of everyone here!! They all were in sync 👍🏼

CVs, one request please. Do not let this be the last chapter for Shyaam! There is still lot more to explore, more secrets to be revealed!! If needed, get him back after some time...But I want the full exposure!

This was good..but still there is more left to be dealt with! And please don't forget Babuji...He is the key element for Shyaam's complete story!! Bring him in...

Maybe I'm a little too spoilt watching the subtle strokes of emotions on display for a good 1.5years..that Abhaas jee's delusional laugh did not work for me...But over all a good episode...perfect to keep the trp audience glued!!😃

Lovely episode again today. If yesterday's episode belonged Shyam, then today's belonged to Anjali. Amazing performance Daljeet! Glad to see a soft, yet strong Anjali emerge - the Anjali that we fell in love with initially. Sanaya's look today reminded me of the guest house episodes from the earlier days- simply stunning.
Rest of the cast - amazing performance as well, but today belonged to Anjali😊
