Chapter 5- Taani's first day in college

Taani's POV

Next day, Taani woke up. It took her time to remind herself why she was so restless. It was her first day in college, first official day and she was very nervous. Usaka dimag hi kahin aur tha. She was messing up. Finally, she got ready in a nice red top and small skirt.

She walks up to the dining table, where Swayam is sitting.

Swayam: Hey, good morning.

Taani: Good morning bhai

Swayam tells Taani to eat some breakfast, but she hardly eats anything. Very nervous, they leave for college.

Swayam: Chal abhi

Taani enters the college with Swayam. Again she is meted with stares from all around, but thankfully Swayam doesn't notice much as he is busy thinking strategies for sixth dancer.

Taani enters her first class with Swayam. They are early and amazingly there are so many seats empty, amazingly all along side some boy. Swayam notices this time and makes Taani sit beside Neha. Swayam sits beside Sharon and Taani besides Neha. She is a little nervous. Rey is sitting on her another side and he notices that Taani is so nervous.

Rey: Are you nervous?

Taani: A little

Rey: (smiles) Relax, you will be fine, and no one is going to bother you, and if someone does than you can come to any of us in team. I will introduce you. This is Sharon, Simmi and Rinni, Nilesh and Vicky, Amar and Bharat and Neha and Vishakha.

Taani: Hi guys

Team: Hi

As the day progresses, The team and Taani get along fine. She and the girls get along fine. She also gets along fine with Rey. Swayam is relieved to see Taani finally back.

In the lunch break, Taani went into the girl's room and she noticed some girls looking at her from the mirror. Taani was confused but she smiled at them politely. Going out of the girl's room, her way was blocked by those girls. Taani was surprised and smiled.

Taani: Hi

Girls look at her sharply and say: Pehli bar college me aur hame ese greet karogi tum?

Taani: Greet to ese hi karate he na

Girls: Tumhe hamara ek kam karana hoga. Tumhe ye pehenana hoga. (the bikini top)

Taani: Umm, (knew it was ragging so quickly thinking what to do) wo to mene pehna he

Girls: (dumbstruck) Kya? Kya pehna he?

Taani: Wahi jo aap bol rahe he ki muje pehenana he wo mene pehna he. (trying to confuse them)

Girls: (before they can say Sharon enters)

Sharon: Girls, leave her alone.

Girls: But Sharon…

Sharon: I told you, leave her alone. Now leave.

Girls: Okay whatever (Taani relieved)

Taani: Thank god bhabhi aapne bacha liya

Sharon: (missing a step) What? Bhabhi? You mean Swayam told you about us? God, I can't believe ki usane tumhe bataya ye sab. I am going to kill him.

Taani: Nahi nahi. Bhai ne muje kuch nahi bataya, kyuki wo kuch bole usase pehle hi muje sab pata chal gaya. To aap chill karo na bhabhi

Sharon: Listen. Don't ever call me bhabhi again. Okay?

Taani: (hands up) Okay (Sharon leaves angrily. Taani mischievously) No promises though.

Chapter 6: Taani and the team

Taani's POV

Next few days, Taani got comfortable in Mumbai. It was amazing. Living in freedom and with friends. Living with Swayam was very comfortable, because Swayam didn't make a big issue if she wore short dresses or if she talked to boys unlike in Jodhpur. Swayam was very understanding too. He understood her. She liked living with him, irritating him, feeding him, cleaning the house etc. It was like they were living together for years.

In the team too, she mixed. She played pranks with Nilesh and Vicky. Talked the fashion talks with Simmi and Rinni. Wow, how she loved fashion. Taani just loved fashion. She wanted every single new thing she saw. She was experimental. She always liked new things. But here in Mumbai, it was really high-five. She and Sharon got together fine too. She understood that Sharon hated all those bhabhi talks so whenever they were alone or with Rey or Swayam she would accidently call her bhabhi to make her angry and then quickly laugh and say sorry. She found Sharon cute. Neha and she got together fine too. Neha understood her so much. She felt like she had found a sister with Neha. Just Vishakha was a problem. She was rude towards her. No matter what she was always angry, but Taani never made an issue of it. They were all already stressed about their footloose competition.

After a few weeks, in talking with the team, Taani mentioned that she would love to dance and Nilesh and Vicky took that as an invitation and were trying to make fun of her by showing her some stupid moves, and Taani almost fell for it. Even Vishakha laughed seeing this. Thanks to Rey at the end moment, who saved her. Taani gave both Nilesh and Vicky quite a chase about it.

Taani and Rey got along fine too. Taani always found herself eager to talk to Rey. They talked and laughed like always. Rey found it easy to talk to her too. She made him carefree to talk.

Rey's POV

Rey was happy. He had heard about time mending wounds, but for the first time was experiencing it. Now, he didn't have to pretend with the team, from when Taani entered life was easy again. Of course he didn't already attach this to Taani's entry.

Some things about Taani bothered him still. Firstly in their first meeting she called him 'aap'. He was so shocked that he was looking at her so shocked. It was not until she asked what happened he recovered. She was sweet and cute, not caring about the results of her actions at all but still caring and very unpredictable. It had been just a few weeks and he was already calling her an 'alien', because she was so different, and the best thing about this was that she hated the name and she always got angry whenever he called her 'alien', and he liked seeing her angry. She looked so cute and shweet. (This applies to our real Taani too, when Shivam kisses her she was so angry but looked real sweet na.)

Taani's POV

Taani was happy and enjoying, but still in her heart she was hurt a little bit because of Sagar. She talked and enjoyed from heart, but she never talked about her life in Jodhpur to anyone. She kept that talk to minimum. But she was getting accustomed to her life.

Chapter 7- Footloose Auditions

Rey's POV

Rey was going to the auditorium for taking the Footloose Auditions. He took auditions with the team, but after that he was so frustrated and irritated. There was no one good enough yet. They couldn't decide on what was to be done and if that was not enough all the girls were on a go. Now days, Rey couldn't move to a single place without being followed by flirting girls and girls wanting to be the sixth dancer.

In the canteen,

Rey enters where the team and Taani are sitting and angrily bursts, Taani is eating noodles and the team is having fun.

Rey: God, what is happening here? You all are sitting here calmly? Don't you care about our team at all?

Swayam: Relax Rey, why are you taking so much stress? Abhi mili nahi he sixth dancer to mil jayegi or nahi to Sharon keh rahi he na ki 5 dancer team ke liye wo apne dad se bat karegi?

Rey: Itna aasan nahi he. Aur Sharon keh rahi he isaka matlab ye nahi ki hum relax ho ke bethe rahe samjha?

Vicky stands up and puts his hand on Rey's,

Vicky: Are, Rey yar, tu itna tension kyu le raha he? Abhi do mahine aur baki he na to tu chill mar na.

Rey: (looking at him angrily) Chill maru, ek tereku maru kya? Are sixth dancer ka kuch ata pata nahi aur hame rehearsals start karani he aur uparse ye ladkiya mera picha nahi chod rahi. Boys locker room tak jane ko bhi ab to problem hoti he.

Simmi: Par Rey, isame unaki thodi na galati he. Tu he hi itana hot. (looking at him smilingly)

Rey: Han wo bhi he, isame unaki koi galati nahi. Damn my good looks.

Taani: Nahi to maybe unaki eyesight hi kharab he. Chill maro aap Rey (Everyone ohs and then coughs)

Rey: Oh alien, tuje kya pata in sab ke bare me. Wese bhi you small town girls ko esi bato me kuch pata nahi chalata so tu chill mar thik he? (Team again laughs)

Taani: Acha? Aap ko lagata he aap bahot mahan ho haan?

Rey: At least tum small town girls ke jese alien to nahi ki jinhe sirf problems create karna ata he balki solutions nikalna nahi aata.

Taani: Aap muje challenge kar rahe ho kya? Remember, don't ever challenge me, kyunki me kabhi nahi harati.

Swayam: Taani, kyun bekar me panga le rahi ho? Rehne do na.

Taani: Bhai aap abhi bich me mat bolo. Aur meri kya galati he ki aap muje bol rahe ho? In navab sahib ko bolo na…

Swayam: Are…

Rey: Haan haan, ab kuch kar to nahi sakte to bhai ko bich me leke aaoge he na?

Taani: E bhai mere he, aur mere bina koi unhe bhai nahi keh sakta.

Sharon: Guys, ab tum dono phirse shuru mat ho jao haan please. Come on ab sochte he ki Sixth dancer kese dhundhte he…

Rey: (looking at Taani from sideways) Yes, you are right Sharon. Abhi hamare pas aliens ki bate sunane ka time nahi he. Chal ab ham apna kam karate he. Chal Swayam chal (Taani is looking at him with narrowed eyes)

Taani's POV

Taani was still looking at him with narrowed eyes. Everybody left except Neha.

Neha: Chill na Taani. Bekar me kyu panga taking Rey ke sath tum?

Taani: Nahi Neha. Ab in Mr. I am so smart ko to dikha ke rahungi me ki (shouts cutely and irritated) me alien nahi hu. Chal mere sath.

Neha and Taani leave too.

At home,

Swayam is still working on the auditions etc. Taani enters sleepy with coffee.

Taani: Bhai coffee

Swayam: Haan thanks

Taani: Bhai, chalo na kahi ghumne chalate he. Aap kabse kam kar rahe ho. I am bored.

Swayam: Not now Taani. Muje abhi ye sara kam khatam karna he, warna meri boss mera bhadada bana degi.

Taani sits beside him on the sofa yawning. She is just sitting thinking about nothing and then

Taani: Bhai?

Swayam: Hmm?

Taani: Bhai muje footloose ki website ka nam batao na

Swayam: (tells her) Par kyu?

Taani: Kuch nahi. Aap kam karo.

Swayam works and Taani searches on her laptop Footloose.

Taani: (then excitedly)Bhai

Swayam: Hmm?

Taani: Bhai, aapki problem ka solution mere pas he.

Swayam: Kya?

Taani: Bhai, yaha dekho. Footloose me nation me se koi bhi participate kar sakta he aur fir agar aapko hamari college me se koi nahi mil rahi to kyun na pure nation me search kiya jaye?

Swayam is firstly not interested but then listens to her.

Swayam: Yeah right. Means nationwide hunt. That's great yar. Seriously brilliant idea. Good job Taani.

Taani: (excited) Bhai aap na ab dekho. Rey muje alien bilkul nahi bula sakege. (excited) Yes

Swayam rolls his eyes and then they both go to sleep.

Swayam's POV

Next day, in the canteen.

Swayam: Guys, there is a new strategy for search for sixth dancer.

Sharon: What?

Swayam: A nationwide hunt.

Team: What?

Rey: What do you mean Swayam?

Swayam: Dude, as per footloose rules, all over India koi bhi footloose me part le sakta he. To kyun na ham advertisements de aur in the whole nation hum sixth dancer ko dhundhe.

Sharon: Yeah, right. I mean we completely missed this rule in our search. It's awesome idea.

Rey: Great idea. Hum TV, radio, internet sab jagah adds de sakte he. That's great idea. Good job Swayam. (Taani smirks)

Swayam: Yeah thanks guys, but actually Taani came with this idea not me.

Vishakha: (surprised) really? Great Idea Taani.

Taani: Thank you (and raises her eyes at Rey)

Rey rolls his eyes.

Taani: So, aapka challenge me jeet gayi. Ab to me alien nahi hu na?

Rey: Hmm, jaha tak muje pata he isase tu normal nahi ho hoti (Taani stops smiling and narrows her eyes) Tum hamesha alien hi ho (team laughs)

Taani: (makes faces at him) (they laugh)

Chapter 8- Shivam enters

Two months before footloose, Shivam enters college. That day Taani was not present. She had cold. The team was together when they saw Shivam. All were shocked to see him in the college. And they all were angry when they got to know about Shivam's admission in St. Louis.

Just like in the show, Shivam gets pitai's dose from Swayam, Rey and the team and VP tells the team about Shivam apologizing etc. The team doesn't trust him at all.

Rey was also very angry. Seeing Shivam again reminded him of Kriya and when it came to Kriya, he got hurt. Swayam was also hurt seeing Shivam.

They were suspicious, but of course nobody yet suspected Shivam's motives of taking revenge and ruling St. Louis.

Chapter 9- Shivam and Taani friendship

Next day when Taani came to her first class, she sat beside Shivam. Actually, whole team was in the auditions. She was alone and bored. Shivam saw her and immediately his eyes widened. She looked really beautiful in a pink and orange top and jeans. He was checking her out and Taani felt his gaze. She looked at him curiously and then looked away.

Shivam so started his charming talk.

Shivam: Hello

Taani: (out of politeness a little bit stiffly) Hi

Shivam: Hi, I am new in this college. My name is Shivam.

Taani: (smiles) Oh, well hi. Actually I am new too. I am Taani.

Shivam: Taani? Nice name.

Taani: Thank you.

Shivam: Umm so, you are new. Where are you from?

Taani: Umm Rajasthan.

Shivam tries to make conversation with her, when the team enters.

Team: Hi Taani

Rey: Hey alien

Taani: Hi guys (playfully smacks Rey.) Hi bhai

Swayam just nods and looks dangerously at Shivam.

Shivam notices this conversation and he asks Taani.

Shivam: Umm, bhai?

Taani: Oh, um ye mere bhai he, Swayam. Guys, ye yaha pe naye aaye he, Shivam.

Swayam: (dangerously) Janata hu. Taani, besides Rey now.

Taani: (confused) Kya?

Swayam: Rey ke baju me betho.

Rey: (Taking situation in hands) Taani, aaj mere baju me beth na. Muje kam he.

Taani: (confused but says slowly) Okay.

They attend lectures and become normal. There Shivam is already making plans about how to take revenge on Reyam.

Next few days, Shivam always tries to find a way to talk to Taani. Taani sometimes find him too imposing but makes a polite conversation with him. They hang out a lot. Rey and Swayam gets irritated by this, but the problem is how to tell Taani. Taani is just formal with Shivam, finding him a little strange, but as she has no problems with him, she makes him friend even with the team's displeasure.

Rey's POV

Rey was very very angry. Their search for the 6th dancer was going great. (Okay. Footloose is yet far. It will come when I am ready for it. Still there is time. Not in two short months) But Rey's reason for frustration was different. It was Shivam. Rey was sure he was up to something and was sure that it was something concerning Taani. Taani had no idea about Shivam's intentions.

Rey knew her now. They had become close, good friends. Rey was starting to know her. She was insightful, but she was also very trusting. Her heart was pure and she was also very innocent. Her trust on people came on her way of logic. It took just a good talk and a smile to gather her trust. Rey understood her now. There was something about her, something in the back of her mind that he didn't know yet. It was like she needed to trust people desperately, and that's why she ignored all the other signs sometimes. It didn't help either that Shivam was very convincing; if Sharon couldn't resist his charm than Taani no matter how wise could obviously be fooled. And Rey didn't want that. He understood her that is why day by day he was getting protective of her without him being unaware of it.

Taani's POV

Taani was missing Sagar. She missed their relationship. No matter how busy she was and how much she pretended, she missed him and how much she missed him, she got hurt. Still tears escaped her eyes sometimes and she hated it. Those three months before Mumbai were the worst. She cried so much at first, but then it hurt so much that she just buried her feelings. She was always the one who never was alone, but after their breakup she ran away from people. Her friends and family tried to get close to her, but she would shrug away, because she hated sympathy. It only made her feel more hurt, more reminded. That is why she came to Mumbai and she was glad she did.

It is not in my story that Taani really loves Sagar, but she is so affected by him. Sagar is a very charming person and he uses people, he breaks people with his charm which is irresistible.

She is unlike Rey who knows his way around people. Taani is a great girl who is very special but is broken hearted and brainwashed by Sagar. Now, you will have to see if her heart can be mended or not.

Precap: I am going to unreveal Secret of Taani's breakup, which is going to be very emotional, a bit like Rey's, but I just wanted to describe how a girl is when she is gone through a breakup. It's pure imagination, so if I overdo it then sorry. Do tell.

Chapter 10- Secret of Taani's breakup (Swayam and Taani talk)

Swayam's POV

Swayam was on a date with Sharon and he came home. His immediate sight was Taani. She was sitting in front of TV and her eyes were not moving at all. He thought, god it hurts to see her like this. Taani was always so happy girl, but their two months together; he sometimes saw that she looked so hurt and vulnerable.

Swayam really wanted to cheer her up. He knew that Taani and Sagar broke up, but the reason was still unknown to him. He didn't force her to say anything as he knew her. She would come around when she was ready, she always did, but this time was more urgent. Swayam stopped his thoughts.

Swayam: Kaka? Hari kaka? (Shouting. Taani comes out of the trance)

Taani: Are bhai, aap aa gaye?

Swayam: Ha

Hari kaka: Ji baba?

Swayam: Kaka, hamara khana fridge me rakh dijiye, aaj me aur Taani bahar khane ja rahe he.

Taani: (surprised) Bhai…

Swayam: Chalo Taani

Taani: Bhai, pehle muje change to kar lene do

Swayam: Nope, aaj ham dono ese hi jayege. Chalo. Thik he kaka?

Hari Kaka: Ji baba. Jesa aap kahe

Taani's POV

Taani and Swayam were in the car. She knew she was busted. And now she couldn't hide it. She was not able to. Swayam stopped the car at the Vadapav stoll. He took a parcel and then when he stopped the car they were at the Juhu beach.

Swayam's POV

Swayam: Chalo. (Stopping the car)

Taani: Hmm

Swayam and Taani sit on the beach seeing the sea and all. It was beautiful.

They started eating. Taani had thought they would go into some posh hotel, but her brother was just unpredictable. But she loved the view. It was beautiful, very calm just as she needed. Food was delicious. After eating, they both were silent.

Taani: (looking at the view) it's beautiful.

Swayam smiled.

Taani: (curiously) Bhai, such bataiye, Samrat bhaine aapko hamare, I mean mere aur sagar ke breakup ke bare me sab bata diya he na…

Swayam: (looking at her smiling) haan

Taani: I knew it. Mere sare bhai na bilkul pagal he. (accusingly)Sab ladkiyon ke jese gossip karate he.

Swayam: (still smiling) Do you realize ki tune muje pagal kaha aur sari ladkiyon ko tittle-tattle karne wali including you?

Taani: Bhai… (Playful)

Swayam: (laughing) Okay fine. Par haan Samrat ne muje sab bataya he. Par Taani (seriously) mene tumhe yaha ye sab reveal karne nahi bulaya he. Jab tak tum ready nahi ho, I won't force you. You don't have to talk about it.

Taani: (smiles) Thanks bhai. Par me bilkul thik hu. Aur me nahi chahati ki aap esi bakwas bato se pareshan ho. It's not such a big thing. Kabhi kabhi esa hota he and any ways I am used to handling things on my own.

Swayam: I know Taani, but I just want to tell you ki, me ye nahi janata ki kya hua, par agar tumhe kabhi bhi kisise bat karane ka man ho, then remember tumhara bhai hamesha tumhare sath he.

Taani smiles and hugs him: Thank you bhai. (They both are thoughtful. After what seem like hours,)

Taani: Bhai, me janati hu. In fact, aap hi wo ek ho ki jisake samane me koi secret nahi rakhati. Par bhai aap tension mat lo, me thik hu. Aur agar nahi hu to ho jaugi.

(A little bit sadly) It's just that, it's painful that after so many years of friendship and 5 years of relationship, he cheated on me. (Swayam looks at her surprised) Mene kabhi esa expect nahi kiya tha. Agar normal break up hota to koi problem nahi thi, par wo ek sal se meri hi ek dost ke sath ghum raha tha, aur aapko pata he usane muje kya kaha? (Swayam is looking shocked and murderous) Jab muje ye bat pata chali to me bahot gussa hui. Muje Anjali ne bataya ki wo Shalini ke sath ghum raha he, par to bhi mene vishwas nahi kiya. Use at least benefit of doubt to diya hi. Par hamari ladai ke wakht usane muje kaha ki me ek flirt ladaki hu. (a bit painful) Ki muje sirf bate banana aata he, aur esi ladaki ke sath sirf time pass kiya ja sakata he, pyar nahi kiya ja sakata. (Breaking up a bit)

Swayam: (shocked and angry) what? Nahi, bilkul nahi Taani. Usaki itni himmat...

Taani: (stopping him) Bhai, please don't start. It's just ki agar use Shalini pasand thi to me kuch nahi kehti, bhai hum ab bhi dost hote. Par… (questioningly) Me kya such me esi hu bhai?

Swayam: No Taani, of course not. Listen, tum esi bilkul nahi ho. In fact, cheat usane kiya to wo flirt hua na, tum nahi. (Lovingly) Tum is dunia ki best ladki ho, meri bachi ho, (Taani smiles) tum is duniya ki best behen ho, ek achi beti ho, ek achi student ho aur sabse achi dost ho. Taani, sirf fun karne se, khush rehne se, koi flirt nahi hota. Tumne kabhi esa nahi socha na ki tum kisiko use karogi, kisika kharab karogi(Taani shakes her head) To fir kabhi apne dimag me esa khayal bhi mat aane dena. Aur ek stupid ki bat sunake apna khud par se vishwas mat uthane do. Us Sagar ko to mere samne aane do, phir use pata chalega meri behen ko hurt karne ka asli anjam(Taani is looking away) Look at me Taani. Dekho, dunia me har tarah ke insan hote he. Agar koi ek ladka tumhe ye sab kehta he to isaka ye matlab nahi ki tum buri ho. ye socho, ki tumhare baki friends tumhare bare me kya sochate he? Use khud ko hurt mat karne do. Taani, tum samaj rahi ho na. (Taani looks at him, gives a little smile and then nods)(Taani hugs Swayam)

Taani: (recovering) Bhai, aap bilkul thik keh rahe ho. Aur wo kamina kaun hota he muje kehne wala ki me kaun hu. (Swayam nods) Aap bilkul thik keh rahe ho. Thoda sa usako bhav kya de diya, wo to sir pe chad gaya, par jane do. Mere pas aur bhi bahot kam he. Me ab us khusat ke bare me bilkul nahi sochugi, aur sochugi to sirf galiya dene ke liye. (Looks at him) Bhai, aap na muje Mumbai wali bahot si galiya sikhana, Sagar ke liye, okay?

Swayam: (narrowing eyes) to ab tuje galiya sikhni he? Mummy ko batau kya?

Taani: Ha ha, aap bataoge hi nahi. Mere pyare bhaiya jo ho.

Swayam: (standing up) Nahi nahi, muje pata he tera ye tone, maska mat mar. Koi galiyan nahi sikhni he. Chal ghar.

Taani: Bhai please bhai please… (They play a bit all the way home, but Taani feels relieved, at least someone knows)

On the way, Swayam and Taani talk about Swayam and Sharon's relationship etc.

Chapter 11- Swaron fight about Taani

Now after this incident, Taani is finally feeling great, she is recovering, aur itna pyara bhai ho to kaun udas reh sakta he. The only side effect of this is that Swayam is becoming really protective of her and it irritates her. Swayam understands how she was hurt, so he if even someone so much as tell her a bit he goes hyper. Like Vishakha, if she talked rudely to Taani, Mr. Possessive bhai stands up.

Sharon is really irritated by this. Even more irritated because Swayam and she had not gone on a date from that Saturday. She was so angry. She knew Taani and Swayam shared a great brother sister bond, but she was irritated that Swayam wouldn't go on a date with her because he didn't want to leave Taani alone.

Sharon's POV

Sharon was in a rehearsal hall pacing up and down very angrily when Rey enters.

Rey: Hey Sharon, whats up?

Sharon: (angrily) don't ask me. Rey, I am so angry.

Rey: Why? Is everything normal?

Sharon: No.

Rey: What happened?

Sharon: It's Swayam.

Rey: Whoa, now what did he do?

Sharon: Pucho ki kya nahi kiya. Tumhe pata he, it's been 10 days ki hum dono ek date pe bhi nahi gaye. Jabse Taani ayi he tabse wo muje to jese bhul hi gaya he.

Rey: (calming her) Relax Sharon, and what are you saying? Taani ke aane ke bad tum log kitni bar date pe gaye ho. Aur Sharon, Swayam Taani ke liye tumhe ignore kyun karega? You are misunderstanding. Taani ko to tum bahot pasand ho, isiliye to wo tumhe bha… (Sharon gives him murderous look) Okay, relax Sharon. Sit. Dekho, agar miss kar rahi ho to khud hi Swayam ko date pe puch lo. Swayam: (entering) Kya nahi karunga?

Rey: (Sharon turns away) Oh hey Swayam.

Swayam: Kya nahi karunga?

Rey: Kya kya nahi karunga?

Swayam: Nahi abhi tu kuch bol raha tha na? (Looking at Sharon asks Rey silently what happened look)

Rey: (Rey gives she is angry look)

Swayam: Hi Sharon

Sharon: 'Don't' hi me Swayam. Tum jao apni behen ke pas, abhi tumhe meri kaha jaroorat he.

Swayam: Kya? Tum kya keh rahi ho Sharon?

Sharon: (narrowing eyes) Agar tumhe pata nahi to me kuch nahi kehne wali

Swayam: Are par… (looks at Rey questioningly)

Rey: (Slowly) Wo Sharon bol rahi thi ki tum dono bahot wakht me date pe nahi gaye?

Swayam: What rubbish? Hum abhi to gaye the na kuch abhi… (curiously) Hum abhi gaye the na…

Sharon: (finally looking at him) Haan bolo, kab gaye the. Jabse tumhari behen ayi he tum to jese muje bhul hi gaye ho. Kitne din ho gaye, na koi date na koi call..

Swayam: Nahi call to me har din karata hu. (Sharon rolls eyes) Okay, Sharon I am sorry. Wo me jan bujh ke nahi kar raha tha, aur me tumhe kuch bhul bhi nahi gaya tha, it's just that…

Rey and Sharon notice the troubled look on his face.

Rey: Dude, is everything okay? (suddenly worried) Is Taani okay?

Swayam: Haan dude, she is fine. She is going through a little bad time actually. That is why I am I guess becoming over- protective of her. Sharon, I am sorry. I am just worried about her; you know she is my responsibility. I don't want her to be in trouble.

Rey: (things are tense) Hey, I have an idea. Agar tum nahi chahte ki Taani akeli rahe to kyun na aj tum dono Swayam ke ghar pe dinner lo. What do you think guys?

Swayam: Yeah, great idea. What do you think Sharon?

Shron: (narrowing eyes) You both are… Fine.

Then when Swayam tells Taani in the break that Sharon is coming for dinner.

Taani: What? (She knew her brother's intensions) No way bhai.

Sharon and Rey look at her shocked.

Taani: Sharon, aap bilkul hamare ghar pe nahi aa sakti. Bhai aapne esa socha bhi kese.

Rey: Taani?

Taani: No Rey, aap janate nahi, ye dono mere ghar pe date pe aayege matlab me living room me bhi aankh pe patti bandh kar hi ja paugi. (Swayam looks dangerously at her and Rey laughs, Sharon is totally reddened)That's not going to work. Bhai aap unhe kahi aur le ke jaiye. Ya phir muje kahi aur jane dijiye. Muje kabab me haddi nahi banana.

Rey smirked, Swayam rolls eyes and Sharon laughs.

Taani: Bhai come on now. Date pe jane ke liye aapko sirf hamara ghar mila he. Please aap kahi aur jaiye.

Rey: Hey, then I have an idea. Swayam, tum aur Sharon tumhare ghar pe jao aur alien tu mere sath aa. Muje actually footloose ke sight pe jana he, aur baki sab wese bhi busy he to what say?

Taani: That's great. It's decided. (They shake hands.)

Chapter 12- Sagar enters

Now, Things are going great. Everyone is really happy. The weakling team had found a sixth dancer named Vaijanti(Okay, just any name okay?) She was Tamil, they had speech problems and some getting together problems, but it was okay.

Now, the situation was that Taani was in the team. Nothing like Taani and the team, it's the team. They all were friends. Neha and Taani were best friends. Rey and she were also close. A mind to mind connection. They both were inseparable. They laughed around, played around, played pranks, studied together, sat together etc. Both considered each other friends only though.

Taani was not bothered by Sagar much now, and Rey by Kriya. Of course, she still had place in his heart, but the hurting was less. Rey was back. Swayam and Sharon were so close now. They fought every day, but couldn't resist talking to each other. At least once a week, Sharon, Swayam, Rey and Taani went on dinner together or the team partied. They all were inseparable.

The only bad thing was Shivam. He was also getting close to Taani. Of course Taani was most of the time with the team, but Shivam still found time to get close to her and it irritated Swayam and Rey. Especially Rey. Rey was so irritated whenever she talked to Shivam, but Taani Ms. Happy go lucky girl, wouldn't listen a thing. Anyways, she couldn't find fault in Shivam as he was always so nice around her and she thought that Swayam and Rey and the team were prejudiced.

Rey and Taani got into little fights every now and then about Shivam, other things etc. But the fight would never last long. They both couldn't go without talking to each other and Taani said sorry so cutely that Rey couldn't help himself but laugh. Taani made Rey feel something in a long time, carefree. Rey made Taani feel free and safe.

After some days, Swayam, Sharon, Rey and Taani after the college were going to the parking lot. Rey was going to drop Taani at home as Swaron were going on a date. The team was elsewhere. They were enjoying when Taani suddenly stopped and looked shocked. ShaReYam noticed. Taani was looking at someone.

Swayam followed her gaze and his eyes too widened. There was a young boy smiling same as his age, with coco skin and melting brown gorgeous eyes standing. Sagar.

Taani and Swayam both were shocked and Rey and Sharon were confused.

Rey: What happened guys? Do you know him? (noticing their stare)

Swayam: (murderously) Yes, Rey why don't you drop these two at home and I will meet an old friend.

Taani: Bhai, relax. Just let it go please. Chalo Rey. Chalo. Ignore it bhai.

Swayam: (looking at her shocked) Taani..

Taani: Bhai please (and she moved ahead)

Sagar: (smiles at her gorgeously) Hi Taani (but Taani moves ahead toward the parking lot without looking at him)

Sagar starts to follow her, but someone grabs him from behind. Its Swayam of course. The nerve of that Sagar

Sagar: Oh hey Swayam, long time no see.

Swayam: Hi (enthused) Rey, get the car. I will be right there.

Rey: (knows something is on) Sharon, why don't you go by the car. I am coming.

Sharon: (also confused) Are you sure?

Rey: Yes

Swayam: (dangerously to Sagar) There is no need of you here. So you better go back from whatever place you have came from or you will never be seen around by anyone. Remember, agar meri behen ke aaspas bhi bhatakne ki koshish ki to sat sat ke marunga aur esa marunga ki ye tera sara attitude he na use chod ke rone ke alawa aur kuch nahi bachega tere pas, samjha?

Sagar: Par Swayam…

Swayam: (punches him on the face) Ye meri behen ko hurt karne ke liye he (Rey is confused) Leave from here. I don't want you in 50 miles radius from her. Do you get it?

Sagar: (trapped) (repositions) (tries to leave)

Swayam: (again takes him closer) Aur agali bar Taani ke aas pas kahi bhi dikha na to pair tod ke hath me de dunga. Now get lost from here.

Sagar leaves murderous. Swayam is angry and Rey is confused.

Rey: Are you okay, Swayam?

Swayam: (looks at him still a little angry) Yeah. Let's go.

Rey: (While walking) Who was he?

Swayam: A stupid piece of junk.

Rey: Taani's ex?

Swayam: Yeah. God, what is he doing here? Taani is going to be shattered.

Rey: Whats the story? (confused) Why did Taani leave? And why were you so angry?

Swayam: It's a long story, Rey and you know Taani, she will kill me if I told you. Just he cheated on her. Don't mention it to her, okay?

Rey: Yeah, okay and burn some energy man.

Precap: Rey cheers Taani up and fights

Chapter 13- Taani, Sagar and Rey

In the parking lot,

Swayam tells Sharon to cancel their date, but Taani tells him not to do so.

Taani: Bhai, please me Rey ke sath chali jaugi. Aap Sharon ke sath jaiye.

Swayam starts to say something, but Rey intertwines.

Rey: Yeah dude, go. I will drop Taani home.

Swayam agrees and he and Sharon leave in Sharon's car. Rey and Taani leave in Rey's car. Rey noticed that Taani was avoiding his gaze, she was looking out of the window. For some reason, he was feeling bad. He was feeling like Taani betrayed him. Why didn't she tell him about that boy? He was feeling angry and it confused him.

Taani was avoiding Rey's gaze. She could feel his eyes on her face. She didn't like seeing Sagar again. It made her angry. When she went alone to the parking lot, she thought that she would compose herself while the others come, but as it was she couldn't pretend with Rey. Rey saw right through her. One thing which she would never admit to him was that he was smart. Anyways, she was thinking why did Sagar come here? Why after so long?

Rey couldn't take the silence anymore.

Rey: So?

Taani: (looking at him) Hmm?

Rey: Umm, the view isn't moving. We are home.

Taani: Oh, right. (She gets outside the car)

Rey: Won't you invite me in?

Taani: (eyes rose) If I told no, will you listen?

Rey: Probably not.

Taani: (smiling) Come on in Rey

Rey: So, who was he? That boy.

Taani: Which boy? Oh, you mean Sagar (face fell)

Rey: Your ex haan?

Taani: I don't want to talk about it Rey.

Rey: Oh okay, it's just you didn't tell me.

Taani gets a call from an unknown number. She takes the call. Rey is confused, but decides not to think about it.

The call is from Sagar. Taani recognizing his voice, immediately cuts the call. She is shaken. But focuses and comes back to Rey. For the first time, she feels at loss for words with Rey. Rey also feels awkward and leaves fast.

Taani didn't understand, why it hurt her so badly. She didn't like Rey leaving, but thought probably because we are good friends. There Rey also thought that I feel bad she didn't tell me about that boy because we are good friends.

Sagar called again to Taani. Taani was in dilemma whether to pick the call up or not, but she does.

Taani: Hello?

Sagar: Hullo, Taani, me Sagar bol raha hu. Please phone katane se pehle meri bat sun le. Please Taani.

Taani: (angrily) What do you want Sagar?

Sagar: Taani, please meet me. I am really sorry for what I did. Please Taani, give me one more chance.

Taani: (angrily talks) Chance? You are crazy, Sagar. Tumne esa socha bhi kese ki me tum jese cheap ladke se bat bhi karne me interested hu. Listen to me, I don't want to talk to you at all, so you better not call here again.

Sagar: Taani, please. I love…

Taani: Don't you dare. I don't want any explanations or anything from you. I am so over you. I don't have time for this Sagar. You have got to leave now, or its going to end badly. Just leave and don't you ever call here again.

Sagar: Taani… (Taani cuts the call.)

Taani sighs and sits down on the sofa. (I am never going to talk to him again. And that is final. That freak. Focus Taani Focus) She takes a long shower and then starts to cook Samosas for dinner as it is a long process and she wanted to keep herself busy. She wanted Swayam to come home soon, as she didn't want to be alone. (Okay, umm this part is from twilight. Mene bas ye idea churaya he chotasa. Hope you don't mind.)

Swayam comes home.

Swayam: Taani?

Taani: Haan bhai me kitchen me hu. (Swayam enters the kitchen)

Taani: (smiles a little)

Swayam: Are you okay?

Taani: Haan bhai, me thik hu. (looks at him, Swayam is looking concerned) Sachme me thik hu bhai. Actually Sagar ka call aaya tha wo bhi do bar, aur mene use galiya de ke cut kar diya phone.

Swayam: (hyper) What? Uski itni himmat?

Taani: Bhai, relax. Chalo aap fresh ho jao. Aur aapne is bar gadbadi me meri bhabhi ko kuch ulata sidha nahi kaha na, warna wo to muje hi bolegi. (Swayam doesn't answer)

Taani: (looking at him) Don't tell me ki aap dono me phirse jhagda ho gaya.

Swayam: Haan, well hua to he. Par don't worry teri wajah se nahi.

Taani: To?

Swayam: Ese hi. Tum nahi samjhogi Taani, hamare jhagde bahot complex hote he.

Taani laughs.

Swayam: Chal abhi kitni der he? Muje to bahot bhukh lagi he.

There Rey thinks at home. I shouldn't force Taani to tell me anything. The matter is bigger than I realize. But I really want to cheer her up. She was looking so down today. Aur usako ese dekh ke acha nahi lagata yar. Me use ese nahi rehne de sakta. After all, wo meri friend he yar, aur uparse Swayam ki behen he. I must cheer her up. Thinks what to do. Yes, Mission Taani is up.

Chapter 14- Rey and Taani plays pranks

Next day, Taani woke up and there were about 13 miss calls from Sagar. She was irritated. She hated it. So she told Swayam about it, deciding she can't keep a secret from her brother and Swayam told her to change the card.

Rey's POV

Rey was at home, getting ready for the college. He had a plan to cheer Taani up. It had been about 4 months and they were best of the best friends and he didn't like it at all to see her sad. So, he made a plan to cheer her up. He also decided not to mention anything about that ex of her.

Rey had called Swayam two times already. Once at night to know how Taani was and in the morning to ask if they were coming to college. He got ready in a nice white shirt and dark blue pants looking hot as ever.

Their first lecture today was economics and was off. The team was in the library, working on the practical. Rey came. Sharon, Simmi and Rinni were writing. Swayam was reading a book. Nilesh and Vicky were looking at something on the laptop. Bharat and Amar were not there. Vishakha was absent too. Neha and Taani were looking for some books.

Rey smiled mischievously. Not wanting to notice, he still noticed, Taani and he matched. She had worn a short white dress. She looked beautiful and he just started to look at her. Then after a while, (what am I doing? Wrong direction Rey. Focus.) He messaged Vicky and Nil to come outside of the library. When they came outside, he told them his plan. They agreed and then in the library.

Rey greeted everyone. Then ignoring Taani completely, he took a random book and started reading where Taani was reading. Then pretending to be completely absorbed into the book, he started walking and knowingly bumped into Taani. Rey said excuse me and then started walking again. Taani just looked at him open mouth and recovered and started her search again.

For the rest of the lecture, Rey, Vicky and Nil did the same thing to Taani. Taani was getting irritated. She scolded Rey, asked him what he was doing, but he said that he wasn't doing it on purpose. Finally, she got irritated and smacked him on the chest.

Taani: Rey, stop being such a jerk. What are you doing?

Rey: What am I doing?

Taani: Why are you three bumping into me?

Rey: What? We are not doing anything like that. May be you are just in the way.

Taani rolled her eyes and ignored him.

Rey then starts searching for something in the library looking here to here.

Taani ignored him at first, but then asked him.

Taani: What are you searching for Rey?

Rey: Hmm? Nothing, just my important thing. I haven't seen it in a while and I am missing it. I don't know where its hiding?

Taani: What? What thing?

Rey: (looking from here to there and then looking at her) Your smile

Taani: (surprised, rolling her eyes and giving a small smile) Is it okay now?

Rey: (making her smile fully by his hand) Now, there it is. Your beautiful smile.

Taani laughed.

Rey: (smiling automatically) Your smile is so important alien. Don't lose it to somebody who doesn't understand its importance. (winking at her and leaving)

Taani: (looking confused, and then smiles broadly)

For the rest of the day, Taani and Rey both were normal. They again played pranks, especially on Swaron. They had fought so both played pranks on them to make them smile and get closer to each other.

Chapter 15- Taani and Rey's fight

But then again Rey was angry. Taani was talking to Shivam. After the lunch break, it was the lecture of Cost and Work Accounting. Rey had saved a place for Taani and Shivam made her sit beside him. He said he needed some help. And of course Taani agreed. He was irritated. That Shivam was getting on his nerves.

After the lesson, Shivam asked Taani to help her in BM. Taani was thinking about it and Rey started on Shivam to not to bother her as she is not interested.

Taani: (shocked) Rey, behave. It's not like that.

Shivam: (smiling charmingly) You mean you will teach me?

Taani: Of course, but not today. I have to complete my practical.

Rey got angry and giving her an angry look he leaved for Rehearsals. Taani went behind him.

Taani: I don't understand, why do you hate Shivam so much? He is nice you know.

Rey: Yeah, well if you think he is nice than why don't you go to him. Why are you here?

Taani: (hurt) You know, if you were not so prejudiced…

Rey: Prejudiced? Who told you I am prejudiced. It's you who is prejudiced.

Taani: (angry) How do you figure that out? Why do you hate him so much, Rey? He has done nothing wrong to you.

Rey: Yeah? Well, you don't know anything then. If you know him so good then why don't you go to him, I don't need you.

Taani: Well, maybe I should then.

Rey: Fine

Taani: Fine. (They both leave angrily in opposite directions. Rey in rehearsal hall, Taani in the fire exit. Shivam sees them and smirks evilly)

Precap: The cousins' fight and Taani and Rey's fight gets worse.

Chapter 16- Taani and Swayam fights

Taani and Rey didn't talk to each other after that at all. Swayam and Sharon noticed this.

Sharon: Not again.

Swayam: Yeah, here we patch up and they fight. What is it with these two?

Sharon: I am sure it's Taani's fault. She is the one who starts fight with him every time.

Swayam: Whoa, how do you figure that out? Rey is the one who is impulsive. I know Taani, my sister wouldn't ever do it.

Sharon: Okay, okay. Now let's not start this again. Come on, I will check on Rey.

Swayam: Yeah, Bye. (They hug. Of course no one is present and then leave)

Sharon's POV

Sharon and Rey were in the car. She saw Rey was looking so angry.

Sharon: Are you okay, Rey?

Rey: Yeah

Sharon: Are you sure? I mean, you and Taani fought, didn't you?

Rey: Yeah

Sharon: What about?

Rey: What else? Shivam. She doesn't want to understand at all. I am sure he is up to something, but Taani thinks that I am prejudiced about him. She won't listen to me.

Sharon: Rey, she doesn't know his intentions. You know that. So, why are you over reacting?

Rey: Yeah sure. You think I am over reacting?

Sharon: No, I mean come on Rey, how is she going to understand Shivam's intentions like this. We need to take the situation calmly.

Rey: Yeah, you are right. But at the same time, Shivam is very irritating that is for sure and I don't like her talking to him. It irritates me.

(Sharon thinks confused- Why is that and? Why is Rey getting so hyper? Does he like Taani? No, maybe I am over reading.)

Taani's POV

Taani was so angry. What if she talked to Shivam? Why was Rey and bhai and everyone so prejudiced against him? He was always so polite and so nice, then why did Rey have to over react?

Swayam's POV

They were going double seat. He saw that she was looking so angry and irritated.

Swayam: What happened, Taani?

Taani: Kuch nahi

Swayam: Phirse jhagda kiya kya Rey se?

Taani: (bursting) Bhai aap hamesha muje kyun dantate ho. Jhagda Rey ne shuru kiya tha mene nahi.

Swayam: Are me tumhe dant thodina raha hu. Acha ab kya hua batao.

Taani: Kuch nahi. Mene bas Shivam ko BM me help karne ko han kaha. Aur itne me Rey gussa ho gaye.

Swayam: (angry) What? Taani, tum ab bhi us Shivam se bat kar rahi ho? Taani mene tumse kaha tha na usase dur rehne ko?

Taani: Bhai aap itna gussa kyu ho rahe ho. Shivam ne kya bigada he aap sabka? Ek naye student se koi ese bat karata he kya?

Swayam: Taani, Shivam bhale hi St. Louis me naya he, par hum use pehle se janate he. Agar Rey tumse keh raha he ki Shivam se bat mat kar to that means there is a reason, right?

Taani: Bhai, muje wo nahi pata. Par aapke bich koi problem hogi, mere bich to nahi. Aap itna over kyu ho rahe ho?

Swayam: (angry) Taani, tum sunati kyun nahi. Agar ham kuch keh rahe he to kuch reason se keh rahe he na. Par tumhe sunana hi nahi he.

Taani: Nahi sunana. Kyunki aapki bat nahi pat rahi muje. Me dekhati hu, wo bichara itna polite he aap ke sath aur aap aur Rey dono kitne rude ho.

Swayam: To ab tum Shivam ke liye mujase ladogi? Me tumhara bhai hu na. Mujpe vishwas nahi tumhe.

Taani: Vishwas he bhai, par aap na bahot over protective ho rahe ho. Aap kyu itna tension lete ho. Me bas Shivam ki help kar rahi thi na.

Swayam: Okay, par dekho khud ka khayal rakho okay? Me nahi chahta ki tum phirse hurt ho. Okay?

Taani: (smiling a bit) Bhai, aap bahot tension lete ho. Me apna total khayal rakhugi. Par life se darke to nahi ji sakte na. Agar aap har bar me hurt ho jaugi esa soch ke muje kuch karne hi nahi doge to kese chalega.

Swayam: (thinking over a bit) I guess you are right. Guess me thoda jyada he possessive ho raha hu, par Taani dekh muje Shivam pe bharosa nahi to please tu usase jyada close mat ho. Promise me.

Taani: Okay. Promise.

Chapter 17- Silent Conversations

Taani's POV

Next day. Today was so boring. It was a really really bad day. Ek to bhai ke sath fight, aur Rey ke sath. Taani got ready anyway. She wore a simple purple dress today.

In the college,

Rey's POV

Rey was sitting in the class. He was wearing a nice blue shirt and black jeans. He was waiting for Swayam and Taani ignoring the looks from girls. Swayam and Taani came. Swayam and he high fived. He looked at Taani and Taani looked at him a little bit expectantly, but looked away. Taani looked away and sat beside Sharon.

Sharon: Hi Taani

Taani: Hi Bha I mean Sharon.

Swayam: Hi Sharon

Sharon: Hi Swayam

Rey: Hi Sharon

Sharon: (surprised as Rey had already greeted her) Hi Rey

Taani coughed. Rey ignored. Taani coughed again. Now, they make indirect conversations-

Rey: (smiling to himself) Swayam, tu bahot bimar lag raha he yar. Khud ka khayal nahi rakhata kya?

Swayam: Rakhata hu na. Tum ese kyu puch rahe ho Rey?

Taani made face. Taani coughed again.

Taani: Aap kya kar rahi ho Sharon?

Sharon: Cost sheet. Ye question ka actually answer galat aa raha he.

Taani: Are aapne galati kar di. (She corrects)

Sharon: Oh thanks Taani.

Taani: (smiles) Par I can understand. Kabhi kabhi hota he. Par aapko pata he kuch log na bahot ignorant hote he. Sab pata he par fir bhi Jese kuch pata hi nahi wese ignore karate he. Kese hote he na?

Sharon: (to herself) Maybe. Muje to aaj tak esa koi nahi mila. Muje bahot ache log mile he. (directing at Swayam)

Swayam: (smiles at her) (They both look at each other, eye locks)

Taani and Rey: Not again

Then look at each other and then again looks away.

Taani's POV

Fine, if he won't talk then I wouldn't either. Go to hell Reyansh Singhania.

Rey's POV

Fine, agar bhav hi khana he to kha. Muje bhi aliens se koi bat nahi karani.

Chapter 18- Taani hates Rey

After class, they went for their next class with the team. When they were entering the next class they collided.

Rey: Ouch, watch out.

Taani: Are you okay?

Rey: Yeah, you?

Taani: Yeah

Rey smiled and Taani noticed for the first time how good he looked. She too smiled.

Rey: You know, tum bahot jaldi bura man jati ho.

Taani: Oh really, kal jhagda aapne shuru kiya tha na, mene nahi.

Rey: Tum kya sabse ese hi jhagdti ho, Swayam ke sath bhi?

Taani: (a bit lost) Har ek ke sath same relation thodi na hota he.

Rey: Yeah but, you know wo relation nibhane aana chahiye.

Taani: Kabhi kabhi insan hi galat hota he to rishta nibhane se kuch nahi hota.

Rey: (confused) Are you talking about me or that boy?

Taani: (looks at him a little accusingly)

Rey: You know, tum jese behave karati ho na wese to muje lagta he tumhari hi wajah se breakup hua hoga, wo bichara kitna sidha lag raha tha. (teasing her a bit)

Taani: (looks at him hurt and for the first time she is a little teary)

Rey sees that Taani's eyes are filled with tears and thinks over his words and understands that he hurt her.

Taani: I HATE YOU (tells Rey and runs away)

Rey: Taani? (shit, I hurt her)

Swayam: Rey, what happened? What happened to Taani?

Rey: Wo Swayam, sorry me wo pata nahi kya bol gaya. Wo bura man ke chali gayi.

Sharon started to go behind her, but Swayam says

Swayam: Sharon, listen I will talk to her. Don't worry.

Swayam goes behind her.

Precap: Taani's talent is revealed.

Chapter 19- Taani frustrated

Swayam searched for Taani everywhere. In the library, rehearsal hall everywhere, but he couldn't find her. Rey was in the class, but his mind was elsewhere. He was thinking, if someone tells me anything about Kriya then I am hurt, then of course Taani will be hurt. What did I do? He asked Swayam via text if he found her, but Swayam said no.

College was over. The team was standing there.

Nil: Yar, aaj Taani class me nahi dikhayi di?

Swayam: (exchanges looks with Rey) Pata nahi, shayad wo ghar chali gayi he. Chalo guys see you. (team leaves except Sharon and Rey)

Rey: Yar Swayam. I am really sorry. Wo mene impulsively kuch bol diya…

Swayam: Rey, relax. Muje pata he tune jan bujh ke nahi kiya. Don't worry. Chalo Sharon.

Sharon: Yeah bye Rey.

Rey: Yeah bye guys.

Rey is frustrated. He therefore decides to go to the rehearsal hall to dance. He gets ready for practice and when he comes to the rehearsal hall, he hears music, but not western, classical. In confusion, he sees who is dancing and gets shocked, because that is Taani.

Next five moments, he was speechless. Taani's dance was so beautiful, so true, so out of the world. She was doing Kathak and so aggressively. She looked absolute beautiful in a White Anarakali dress and red ghungharoo.

But then, he saw that she was crying and his heart stopped. The beautiful diva, the always happy, full of life girl was crying? Then he realized, that maybe the same way he had gone through a break up she had too. God, what did I do?

Taani finished the dance aggressively. And then she just couldn't control it. She just let tears fall from her eyes, sobbing silently.

Rey didn't know if he should go in or not. Would she like it or would it hurt her?

Taani got silent. Then she wondered loudly.

Taani: Was he right? Kya meri galati thi? Par kya? Kya galati ki mene ki usane muje cheat kiya? Aakhir nineteen years ki dosti koyi pal bhar me kyun thukarayega. Maybe Rey was right. Mujme hi kuch kami reh gayi hogi.

Rey: (coming into the room) Bullshit. All bullshit.

Taani shocked and jerked away from him.

Taani: Aap yahan kya kar rahe he?

Rey: Taani, I am sorry.

Taani: (sighed and removed her ghungharoo and took her bag and leaved.)

Rey: (She is angry. I must do something. He took his shirt and his bag and he leaved after her) Taani? Taani, listen.

Taani: (stopping and facing him) What Rey?

Rey: (looking at her and then silently) I am sorry.

Taani: It's okay. I know aapne jan bujh ke nahi kiya kuch.

Rey: Nahi par still yar, muje esa nahi kehna chahiye tha. Me pata nahi kya bol gaya.

Taani: It's okay Rey. (smiling at him)

Rey: No, don't forgive me this easily. Chalo I made you sad, now I will make you happy.

Taani: And how is that?

Rey: Are ese hi muje girls charmer thodina kehte he. Ladkiyon ko kese patana he wo muje bahot ache se aata he.

Taani: (rolling her eyes) Aapne kya muje un stupid ladkiyon jesa samjha he kya. Muje khush karna itna aasan nahi he.

Rey: Acha? Me janata hu tum ladkiyon ko. Koi nayi lipstick bhi gift kar de na to bhi wo khush ho jati he.

Taani: Kya? Yuck. Aap muje ese manaoge. Nahi ese nahi, agar aap muje manana hi chahte ho to me kahu wo karoge?

Rey: Okay done. (They shake hands)

Taani: (excited) Okay, to aap ye sham mere nam kariye. Muje jo chahiye aap muje doge, manjoor?

Rey: I am so going to regret it, alien. But anyways, sirf tere liye. Par tu pehle Swayam ko phone kar de, wo pareshan tha.

Taani: Okay.

Chapter 20- Sixth Dancer

Taani called Swayam that she was with Rey and she will be late as Rey was giving her a treat so not to worry. He was worried, but of course choti behen ke samne kisaki chalati he. He agreed eventually.

Then Rey and Taani were in the car. She had told him to take it to the Juhu beach. Rey saw that Taani still looked a little sad.

Rey: You know, I had no idea, I just…

Taani: It's okay Rey. Muje bura nahi laga he. I mean kabhi ho jata he.

Rey: (smiled at her) But it was not your fault.

Taani: (looked at him confused)

Rey: I mean, he cheated na. You know some boys are pervert. So, don't blame yourself for that. Agar hamari galati nahi he to hame khud ko dosh nahi dena chahiye.

Taani: (still shocked but smiles) I guess you are right. Agar galati usaki he to use hi problem honi chahiye.

Rey: Now, that's like my alien.

Taani: (narrowing her eyes) You are such a jerk.

Rey laughed. Taani looked outside.

Taani: (suddenly) stop stop stop

Rey: What happened? (not stopping the car)

Taani: Rey, stop the car. Muje ice cream khana he. (looking at the stoll)

Rey: (laughing) Ice cream. Waha par. Are you crazy? Choti bachi ho kya?

Taani: Acha? Aapki GS ki book me esa konsa rule he ki me Ice cream nahi kha sakti? Aur vese bhi aaj ki sham mere nam he na.

Rey: (laughing) Fine alien. Chal.

At the stoll, Taani was eating ice cream, but Rey said no. Taani forced him and amazingly he liked it. It was a different experience. For someone like Reyansh Singhania and Taani made it more amazing.

Rey thought: She is cute yar. Baki ladkiyon jesi hi he par fir bhi sabse bahot alag. Aur ladkiyon jese nakhre to bilkul nahi he. Jitne khush hoti he itni hi emotional bhi he.

They had fun. Taani and Rey ate ice cream, went to park, played Panipuri competition (which Rey won. He had never done it before, but Taani made him comfortable.) They had fun. At the end, Taani and Rey went on Juhu beach where Swayam had taken her.

It was so beautiful and that place made them comfortable. They came close to each other and Taani felt like talking to Rey, so when Rey asked her about Sagar, she told him. Not all the details, but she talked to him. How they were friends, how they came in the relationship…

Rey: And then?

Taani: Then? Then break up.

Rey: (looked at her) Wo ladka bahot unlucky hoga jo usane tumhe cheat kiya.

Taani: (smiled, they both looked at each other) To ab ghar chale?

Rey: Yeah, sure. (Rey was confused, he didn't want to go. He liked to be with her.)

In the car,

Taani and Rey talk happily.

Rey: Taani?

Taani: Hmm?

Rey: Tum dance bahot acha kar leti ho.

Taani: Oh. Umm thanks.

Rey: Tumne kathak ki training li he.

Taani: Haan, par please aap ye kisiko mat batiyega. Please?

Rey: Why? (confused)

Taani: Yaha kisiko nahi pata ki me kathak janati hu. Even bhai ko bhi nahi. Me sirf khud ke liye nachati hu. Aur vese bhi meri image ke sath kathak match nahi hota.

Rey: What? Image? You really are an alien. Your dance was beautiful. Taani, tumhe apni is talent ko bahar lana chahiye, na ki ise chipana chahiye. It's a talent. Tum me talent he, aur talent jitana samane aye na utani hi jyada khilti he. Aur rahi tumhari image ki bat, to image wo hoti he jo hum andar se hote he. Aur tumhari talent bahar aane se tumhari image aur achi hogi, buri nahi.

Taani: (listens to him)

Rey: Actually, I was thinking ki tum sixth dancer ke liye khadi kyun nahi hui?

Taani: (surprised) Rey, muje sirf Kathak aata he. Baki western nahi aata.

Rey: Are dance ke liye rhythm sense hona jaroori he, aur tumhe bits, rhythm knowledge he, phir baki koi problem nahi hogi.

Taani: Par aapko already dancer mil chuki he and anyways muje nahi lagta ki me kar paugi.

Rey: You can. Vaijanti is nice, but you will be best. Because you are our friend, hamari banati he yar aur tumhara dance bahot acha tha. Me to tumse najar hi nahi hata paya.

Taani: (still not sure, thinks for a bit and then) I don't know Rey. Anyways we are home. Bye.

Rey: Are Taani? (But Taani leaves) (thinks: Ise to manana hi padega. No wonder wo Swayam ki behen he. Par kya karu?)

Chapter 21- Team gets to know about Taani's dance

Taani's POV

Taani was thinking over Rey's words. Did he really liked her dance or he just wanted to cheer her up? She thought, maybe he was not serious. Let's forget it. But Taani thought again, Rey was not the one to pretend. He said what was in his mind, that quality about him attracted Taani the most. Attracted? Wait, what am I thinking, we are just friends.

Rey's POV

Rey was thinking about Taani's dance. She was really good. She danced like Kriya, and Taani danced from heart. If she came in the team, she would match their level easily, with some training. It was worth a shot. But the problem was that Taani was really stubborn, it was hard to change her mind. There was still time in Footloose, if he trained her and she co-operated, then their problem would be solved. Vaijanti was a great dancer too, but the language problem came. And she was not cooperating. Rey had the solution. Rey called Swayam.

Swayam: Ha bol dude

Rey: Dude, I have a surprise for you. Actually, a big surprise for you.

Swayam: Aur kya he ye surprise?

Rey: Abhi bata duga to surprise kesa? Wo tuje kal pata chalega, so be ready for the big surprise. Tu aur teri team, rehearsal hall me subeh 9 baje aa jana, aur Taani ko bhi sath le ke aana.

Swayam: Kyun? Taani ko kyun?

Rey: Are tu leke aa phir batata hu.

Swayam: Okay dude bye.

Rey: Yeah, bye.

Swayam messages everyone, just as in the show and tells Taani. Taani is shocked, what Rey is doing. She calls him.

Rey: Haan Taani

Taani: Rey? Aapne muje kal kyun bulaya he? Aur surprise kya he?

Rey: Tumhe sure karavana he. Kal me chahta hu ki tum sab ke samne apna solo performance do, aur tum bhi convince ho jaogi ki me tumhe cheer up karne ke liye jhuth nahi bol raha tha par sach bol raha tha.

Taani: (confused) Aapko kese pata ki me ye soch rahi thi?

Rey: (smiling) Because I know you. Okay, so be ready for tomorrow.

Taani: Rey? Me nahi kar paugi. Seriously, mujse nahi hoga.

Rey: (a bit angry) Taani, nakhre mat karo. Tum kal dance to karo, decision bad me lenge. Ek bar jo mene keh diya to keh diya, I am not having no for an answer. (cuts the call)

Taani: Rey par…

Taani thinking: (ab kya karu?)

Next day, The team is there. Rey is searching for Taani.

Rey: Sharon, Taani aur Swayam kaha he?

Sharon: Pata nahi. (They enter) There they are.

Taani and Swayam enters.

Rey: (to everyone, smiling at Taani who grimaces) So guys, are you ready for the surprise?

Rinni: More than ready. Rey, what is it?

Rey: Guys, today I am going to present to you Taani's dance.

Team: Dance? Taani's?

Swayam: Taani? Tumhe dance aata he?

Taani is looking so scared. Rey takes her hand and takes her in front of the team.

Rey: Taani, don't think, just dance like you did yesterday.

Taani: Rey…

Rey: Taani, what are you waiting for?

Taani: Rey…

Chapter 22- Rey is hyper and Taani's stage fright

Swayam's POV

Taani can dance? Everyone was shocked. Swayam was shocked too. Then why was she still standing? Why wouldn't she show us her talent? Why didn't she tell me?

Taani's POV

Taani was still standing there frightened. Not the thought of dancing, but the thought of dancing between these 11 most talented people frightened her. She had Stage fright, it never made any sense as she was never afraid of people, but still whenever she was on stage she would always mess up.

Rey's POV

Rey was angry. Impulsively. How dare she? I am telling her to dance, I have trusted her and now she wouldn't even dance?

Rey: Taani, dance. What are you waiting for?

Taani: (frightened) Rey, I can't.

Rey: Taani, you have to dance. Is it one of yesterday's stupid reasons? (angrily)

Simmi: What is going on Rey?

Everyone started muttering etc.

Neha: Kya hua Taani? (coming closer to her)

Rey: Taani, listen, you got to dance. You can't say no.

Taani still was frightened. She was shaking.

Neha came close to her and asked her.

Neha: Tum thik ho na Taani?

Taani: Me nahi kar paugi Neha.

Neha: (understanding) Sab ke samne karne ko dar lag raha he kya?

Taani looked at her shocked and nodded.

Neha: Rey, Neha thinking Taani having Stage fright.

Rey: (surprised) Really?

Taani: (making face at him totally agitated)

Rey: (laughed) Oh, man. Now what?

Vishakha: I told you dude. She is full of problems. Time waste kiya tumne hamara Rey.

Vicky: Vishakha, use thodi na pata tha. Tum har wakht Rey ko bina wajah kyu blame karati ho.

Vishakha: Bina wajah? Jab hamare pas itani achi dancer he, phir bhi Rey aur Swayam ko Taani ko hi sixth dancer banana he? Just because wo Swayam ki behen he?

Bharat: Vishakha, tu bar bar per…

Amar: Personal

Bharat: Haan, personal kyu ho jati he?

Vishakha: Kyunki yaha pe har decision caliber par nahi balki personally liya jata he.

Taani: (shocked) Esa kuch nahi he Vishakha

Vishakha: Oh please, tum to kuch bolo hi na. Because no one is interested to hear what you have got to say.

Swayam: Enough Vishakha, tum limit cross kar rahi ho (angrily)

Vishakha: (again angrily) Limit to tum log cross kar rahe ho. Tum logo ne esa socha bhi kese ki ye ladki Kriya ki jagah le sakti he? Face it Swayam, tumhari behen ko sirf bate banana aata he, baki in the talent department, she is and always be nobody.

Rey: (angrily) Enough Vishakha, you are really crossing the limit now. (He was really angry that she mentioned Kriya. Then suddenly lights went off and music started. A spot light came in between revealing Taani.)

Taani: (she looked angry) (She started dancing, not caring for anybody just from heart, aggressively and angrily with eyes closed.)

When she finished dance, everyone was speechless. Taani finished and still angry came to Vishakha.

Taani: (pointing a finger at her) Agali bar kisi ko blame karne se pehle, please get to know the whole matter.

Vishakha looked murderous. Taani stormed out of the room. After her going out of the room everybody in shock started clapping. Swayam was also shocked and happy. Everyone was really surprised. Rey was happy.

Rey: What do you think guys? (looking sideways at Vishakha)

Amar: She is brilliant.

Bharat: Haan yar kya fadu dance kiya.

Rinni: Agar wo hamari team me aa gayi to footloose ham hi jeetenge.

Swayam: I am not sure. I mean she has stage fright Rey.

Rey: Are Swayam, Stage fright usake andar he. Aur Sharon ko bhi tha na, but she overcame it. If we help Taani, she can also.

Sharon: Yeah, I think Rey is right. It was out of the world. So beautiful.

Vishakha still looks angry.

Neha: Vishakha, chill. Ab to tumhe yakin he na ki Taani dance kar sakti he.

Simmi: Haan Vishakha, aur Taani to Kriya ko janati bhi nahi he, to tum use Kriya ki jagah lene ki wajah se blame nahi kar sakti. (looking at Rey apologizing)

Rey ignored it a bit painfully. Vishakha now looked a bit ashamed.

Vishakha: I guess you guys are right. I should apologize to her. I am sorry guys, I made a foolish move.

Rinni: That's great. (Neha smiled at her and everyone cheered.)

Rey: Okay guys, but still there is a problem.

Sharon: What?

Rey: Taani is not versatile, she just knows kathak.

Team: What?

Swayam: What? Are you serious Rey? Then why are you…

Rey: Swayam, I think it is worth a shot and your sister can be trained. If Taani is in the team, we would be better as we know her. And anyways, looking at her talent, she is better than that Tamil who is coming for rehearsals.

Sharon: You know Rey, you assume too much. I mean, if we started her training then what about rehearsals.

Rey: I know Sharon. So that is what I am saying that we give her a chance. If it works then it would be great or Vaijanti will be there for sure, right?

Swayam: Yeah but…

Rey: Don't worry dude. I have it planned. I say I will train her. I will give her lessons every day before college and you all can give her different dance style lessons like I will teach her hip hop, contemporary and salsa. Swayam, you, Sharon and Neha can give her free style dance lessons. Like that. As always, if we work together as a team, we will win. What do you think guys?

Vishakha: Well, I don't mind it. But rehearsals shouldn't be stopped.

Rey: Agreed. What say guys?

Team: Agreed.

Chapter 23- Rey and Taani, fights and friendship

Taani's POV

Taani was sitting in the fire exit thinking. How dare she? How dare she blame my brother? Bhai ko to kuch bhi nahi pata tha. What is her problem? Mene kya bigada he usaka? Aur Rey? Kya itana bada decision lene se pehle wo mujse puch nahi sakte the kya? Itne gussa kyu ho jate he? Ab to dar lagne laga he.

Rey enters.

Rey's POV

I knew she would be here. She always came here when she wanted to be alone. Actually, Shivam had told me that. I was looking for her that day and he told me that. It was one more shock. How come Shivam knew that? She looked at me and then looked away.

I came and sat beside her. She started to go away, but I grabbed her hand. She looked at me a bit surprised, though not as much as I was. I left her hand and told her.

Rey: Sit (calmly)

Taani: (sighed and sat)

Rey: We decided that we should give you a chance.

Taani: Except Vishakha, right?

Rey: She agreed too.

Taani: (surprised) Rey, couldn't you at least ask me before making a decision, especially when it concerns me?

Rey: (playfully) Come on alien, how was I supposed to know that 'you' of all people would have stage fright. I thought it was one of your stupid reasons. Wo sab bahane the na?

Taani: (surprised) You are unbelievable. How do you know me so good?

Rey: Kyunki tu meri sabse achi dost he.

Taani: (smiles)

Taani: Ek bat puchu?

Rey: Hmm?

Taani: Ye Kriya kaun he?

Rey: (shocked) Hamari ex AGS and Weakling team ki ex dancer.

Taani: Aur aapki ex girlfriend?

Rey looked at her in shock. Was Vishakha right? Did Taani really know Kriya?

Rey: How do you know that?

Taani: You are not the only noticing person here. Me bhi aapko janati hu.

Rey: (does not answer)

Taani: Sorry Rey. I didn't want to hurt you.

Rey: It's fine.

Taani: (going in front of him, grabbing her ears) Sorry

Rey: (looks at her and unwillingly gives up and laughs) It's okay alien. Wait wait. (He said and took his mobile out.)

Taani was looking at him surprised, but still holding her ears and Rey captured her photo. Taani surprised and

Taani: Rey nahi. Rey mera photo mat nikalo. Muje de do aap ka phone.

Rey: Nope, ab ye photo mera he.

Taani: (makes a move at him, but Rey of course is out of her reach. She chases him but then of course gives up.) Hey Krishna ji. Okay, times up.

Rey: (laughs) Okay. Now, Taani are you ready for this?

Taani: Umm, well I want to learn dance, par mera stage fright aur western dance?

Rey: Relax alien, I have a solution.

Taani: Kya?

Rey: Your dance lessons start tomorrow.

Chapter 24- Rey's dance lessons

Taani's POV

Dance lessons? You got to be kidding me. It was a dream come true and a nightmare come true. Muje dance to sikhna tha, par Rey sikhayega to to jaroor band bajegi. Kyunki Rey ko meri tang khichana bahot acha lagata he, but of course now I wouldn't take a step back.

I had more than enough reasons. Vishakha had apologized to me. Everything was cool between us. Aur bhai bhi bahot trust kar rahe the mere pe. Next reason was Rey. He made everything so easy. Haan, abhi thodi (thodi nahi bahot jyada) problems hui thi hamare bich, par phir bhi agar Rey waha pe hoga to I was sure ki muje koi problem nahi hogi. After all wo mera best friend he yar. Though mujhe thoda bura lag raha tha. Kriya ke bare me janake, pata nahi kyun? Ab mujhe pata chala ki Rey ko bura kyun laga tha ki jab mene unhe Sagar ke bare me nahi bataya. After all ham dono friends he. Ek aur reason tha Sagar. Sagar se picha chodne ka yahi ek sabse great rasta he. I had never imagined, par ab usaki memories muje ab jyada hurt nahi karati thi and it was great feeling. Ek barrier jo tha heart par ka wo nikal gaya tha.

Par ek aur confusing bat thi jise mene dekh kar bhi undekha kar diya tha. I didn't thought about it twice, so it wouldn't bother me. Jab Rey ne fire exit me mera hath pakda tab, my heart did something which had not happened in a while. It skipped a bit. Jese heart me se aawaz aayi 'dhak', thoda dar laga, par thoda acha bhi laga. And it was really confusing, kyunki Rey ke sath mene bahot masti ki he. Ham dono ne, playing with each other, shaking hands etc, then why his taking my hand in his hand bothered me? Isiliye mene usake bare me phir nahi socha, kyunki jitana sochugi utana confuse ho jaugi and mere pas pehle hi bahot reason he confuse hone ke, tension ke, I don't need distraction.

Next day, our lessons were starting. I woke up at 5 a.m. I got ready and wore a nice off white short dress and got ready. Bhaine driver se kaha tha to usane muje college tak chod diya. I was nervous, which was stupid.

Rey's POV

I was relieved. Taani jaldi man gayi. I had not expected it, but I knew she trusted me. Everything was happening so fast now. Footloose was coming near and from tomorrow, life would be busy. With exams and footloose coming closer, Taani's lessons, Rehearsals, GS duties, studies, classes, I barely had time to eat and drink, but still I felt like it was the best time of my life.

And this alone scared me. That fire exit scene, I felt nice. I felt whole. I felt happy. And it confused me. That's why, I had decided, that I would not think twice about it.

Vishakha mentioning Kriya was another problem. The thing was it didn't hurt me much, hearing her name again. I never thought this day would come in my life. I guess, I was so busy that the memories fade. Now, I could ignore my Kriya memories and Taani was a great part of it. But I didn't think twice about it.

One more thing, that sentence of Taani's 'your ex girlfriend?' Damn, how did she know. I guess, she knew me well in these almost 5 months. Surprisingly, in her presence, my heart was whole. It didn't feel awkward with her. I felt pain free. Of course, she is my best friend, which is why. I decided to not think twice about it. But one thing was sure, in a short time Taani had come closer to me than Sharon or Swayam.

Next day, I woke up early. Today was Taani's first lesson. I wore a nice black shirt and jeans and I left for college.

Taani's POV

I was a little early. I got ready in blue top and black pants for rehearsals. I made a pony. I would also have to cut my hair, for western dance. Shit man. But anyways. I came in the rehearsal hall and Rey came ready for rehearsals as well.

Rey's POV

She smiled looking at me. I smiled back. I noticed she was looking umm hot. Wrong direction Rey. I ignored it. She greeted me. I answered her.

Taani's POV

Why did this boy have to look so great in every outfit? It was irritating. Focus Taani Focus.

Taani: Good morning Rey

Rey: Good morning Alien. Par Rey nahi sir. Sir nahi kahogi to seriousness nahi ayegi.

Taani: (narrowing eyes) Yes sir (In military andaz)

Rey: (laughed, thank god finally) Loosen up, just kidding.

As in the show they start with warm up. Rey helps her and Taani catches up easily as she has been dancing since childhood. Rey was impressed.

Rey: Very good. Now, I am going to put some music and same as in the show, but Taani catches up rightly. Everything is as in the show.

Rey: You catch up fast. I guess you have been dancing for your whole life, so it is going to be easy for you.

Taani: Haan, par ye western music thoda uncomfortable he. Itne bits ki me confuse ho jati hu.

Rey: Taani, relax. Jese jese tum practice karati jaogi, tum comfortable ho hi jaogi. Now listen, I want you to practice with your heart everyday like this. I trust you. You will catch up in no time.

Taani smiles and takes a deep breath.

So, now everyday these two are going to be practicing.

Precap: In next three lessons, Taani will know about Rey and Kriya and Rey will save her from a drastic situation.

Chapter 25- Rey tells Taani about Kriya

Taani's lessons were going great. She was developing and she loved it. She had contemporary lessons from Rey and her brother was teaching her free style. Sharon was helping her with hip hop. She was having fun.

Rey and Taani were getting closer. They would always train together in the morning and sometimes after college. Rey almost always dropped her at home. It had been days. Then one day when they were going home, they were talking and from topics after topics, it came to Kriya and Rey told her how he and Kriya were a couple and then she left him, willingly. You know, comfortably.

Taani: So, she said she was using you?

Rey: Yep

Taani: (confused) But your relationship was a secret then how is that possible?

Rey: I don't know. Any ways, whatever. She is gone now and I am also moving on.

Taani: Yeah but it is fishy Rey.

Rey: Hmm? (confused)

Taani: I mean, don't you think that maybe there could have been another reason? I mean I don't know as I didn't know her, I just wondered…

Rey: (angrily) Does it matter Taani? If she left me willingly or unwillingly, the result is that I am here and she is not. I don't want my life to become complicated again.

Taani: Okay, relax.

Rey: Chill. So, we are home. May I get a cup of coffee?

Taani: With pleasure (bowing her head)

Rey laughed.

They came inside and Swayam, Rey and Taani talked a bit and then Rey went home. They didn't know that tomorrow was bringing an unpleasant surprise.

Chapter 26- Sagar and Rey

Actually, I was thinking about showing Taani trying to patch Rey up with Kriya, but I don't know how to do it. It doesn't fit with how I am developing this ff. So not that. Sagar was still in Mumbai. Taani forgot everything about him, but he had not. He wanted revenge. Revenge of that punch Swayam gave him and Taani's insults. He had noticed that she was hanging a lot with that other boy (meaning Rey). Sagar was filled with poison. He had a plan.

Next day, when Taani was going to college alone in the morning, Sagar came from behind. He wanted to throw acid at her face. So that her beautiful face will be destroyed.

He came from behind her. It was perfect. She had no idea. She was walking today. Kismet hi Sagar ka sath de rahi thi. Everything was calm. She was alone and he started to throw acid at her, when (Of course Taani is saved. She is too precious)

Rey saw this and he recognized Sagar even though he was wearing a handkerchief, he ghastly drove his car and hit him on the head by his hand from the car window. Sagar's aim was lost and the acid dropped on his own leg. He cried in pain.

Taani was shocked. She was barely saved. Usaka accident hote hote reh gaya. She saw behind and immediately understood what happened. Sagar was going to throw acid at her? Thank goodness for Rey who saved her. She was in shock.

Rey stopped the car and came out. He went where Sagar was and started hitting him. He started to bit him so angrily. He was going to hurt Taani again? He bit him. There Sagar was in pain and couldn't even defend himself. After that Rey came to Taani and hugged her fiercely who was still shocked.

Rey: Are you okay?

Taani was in shock but recovered and hugged him back: I am fine Rey. Thank you.

Rey was relieved, he was so sure that he was going to be late, but thankfully Taani was saved. She was still hugging him and he realized that for the first time Taani was frightened. He started saying soothing things to her.

Rey: It's okay (patting her head). You are okay. Taani relax. It's okay.

Taani: (takes deep breaths trying to calm herself.)

After a while, Taani recovers and they both feel uncomfortable and they both recovers. Rey tells Taani that they should tell the police. Taani agrees and Rey and Taani take Sagar to the police Station. Rey tells Swayam about this. Swayam comes to the police station. Sagar is in the jail. Swayam comes and immediately hugs Taani so hard that she can't breathe.

Taani: Bhai me thik hu. Rey ne bachaya muje bhai.

Swayam: (Still not letting her go) Thank god Rey tum waha pe the. Thanks yar.

Rey: Are dude, isame thanks kesa? We are friends, of course I did that. Ease up.

Okay. Done that part. Ab me dhire dhire Tarey ko track pe laugi.

Chapter 27- Shivam gifts Taani and Rey is angry

Somehow this incident got leaked. Everyone in St. Louis got to know about this. Taani was already in front light, and by this incident, she started getting more and more front light. Rey and Swayam too. Everyone in St. Louis had heard about this incident.

Shivam gets to know about this. He and Taani are friends so he again started to get closer to her. His ultimate plan was to make Taani fall for him, but till now he was unsuccessful. So, he grabbed this opportunity and he gave her a gift. A bracelet. A really expensive bracelet. Taani was touched by his gesture. She thought that he is so worried about her like a good friend. She thanked him.

Next day, she wore it for rehearsals and surprisingly Rey noticed.

Rey: That's a new one, alien. You are wearing accessories today.

Taani: (surprised) Oh ya, Shivam gave it to me. I guess I forgot to take it off.

Rey: (in a total shock stopped rehearsing) Shivam gave you a bracelet?

Taani: Yeah, because he heard of that incident.

Rey: (angry again, he switched off the music and came close to her) he came close to her and took her hand and took off that bracelet and threw it away.

Taani: (she was so shocked) Rey? (then angry) Why? Why did you do that? What is your problem Rey?

Rey: (equally angry) Not mine, what is your problem? Why did you take that bracelet? Are you crazy?

Taani: Not me, you are crazy. It was just a gift and you broke it.

Rey: Taani, for the last time I am telling you, don't start with Shivam.

Taani: I started it? You started it. What is your problem Rey? It was just a bracelet, it was harmless.

Rey: No, it was not. You don't understand him Taani. He is having a go on you and just like every other girl, you are stupid enough not to realize this.

Taani: (shocked) You called me stupid?

Rey: You are stupid.

Taani: Then you are an idiot. (They started fighting again and Swayam and Vicky enters)

Swayam: What the…? Rey? Taani? STOP!

Vicky is looking at them both surprised.

Swayam: Kya guys? Ab kyun lad rahe ho?

Taani storms out. Rey tells Swayam what happened. Swayam is also worried about Taani. Though he tells Rey to take it calmly. Rey is also very confused. Why was he getting so hyper? Whenever it came to Taani, why was he getting so over protective?

Taani and Rey are not talking to each other at all.
