As an actor & as an individual,he has the right to decide what he wants to do.

I don't mind him leaving for his professional growth.

But the kind of drama ,it's creating is not good for the show.

Look,I like him offscreen.

As SI fan I will watch the show as long as princess stays as Khushi.

So BS leaving the show won't affect me that much.

He has been a great ASR...

The new actor will have his work cut out for him.

Buy if BS really wants to leave...share the news with your fans...

Don't play double game...

People who make drooling posts,get into arguments with other post makers...

Fans who think you can do wrong on & off the screen...

As an actor aren't you bound by that responsibility to your fan base??

I am not a fan girl...

I am not BS fan ...

But I like him...

Just because zee news shared the news first...BS fans called her names...

Fans were making posts a sober,honest guy will never cheat on his fans...

He would never lie...

I feel bad for those fans...

Somehow we ,the fans get so carried away by onscreen persona & offscreen charm of public figures...

We forget these are " stars"...

Everything they say is scripted...even if it's offscreen...

They give interviews which are recorded...

So fans see what stars want them to see...

When BS was absent SI covered up for it...

The whole story was changed so that BS's film schedule can be accommodated...

SI or other crew members never said a thing about it publicly at least...

So if BS negotiates again...same thing will happen...

Whole storyline,whole track will be changed for his film schedule...

It will affect trps...as some illogical track will be introduced...

Once again for sake of BS & his movie...hardwork of other members including SI will not be that fruitful...in terms of trps...

So as an actor it might be his choice,his life,his professional goals...

But rather than trying to tell half truth & confuse fans...

He should come up clean...

Release a statement ...by keeping mum fans are getting mixed signals...

It might not be that great a thing for ipkknd & specially for BS's professional image.

I could not even start watching today's episode feeling so low..

You can't tell now the same thing with ASR or Barun because you have not seen the replacement yet. Let's all relax and first see if Barun has indeed left the show (if the PH and the movie tram work around the schedule, he will have to be a fool to leave)... If he indeed leaves, then let's see who is the replacement and if he does a good job. Then we will talk about it. Now getting our brains mixed up will only put stress on ourselves.

@shwetachauhan Well said ! Barun's decision was wise at that time and is always wise...We never know why he quited that show and now people are constantly assuming and judging and digging out other articles to prove their point..Funny it is !😆

DKS, good points. It is indeed unprofessional to jump ship when you know the captain of the ship that is sinking needs you... esp, when that same captain stood by you when you wanted to "try" other things (movie).

For those that are questioning DKS's reference to all this BS mess (pun intended😉), as unprofessional, just think of it as a product or a service. Yes, what Barun is providing is service... To entertain us for a few minutes a day by playing the character of ASR to its T.

Now, let's say, you have a small infraction of sorts, for which you hired a lawyer. The case is due in court soon... In the meanwhile, the lawyer gets a better case which will entail publicity and more money, of course. Would you call the lawyer a professional if he/she ditches you (I know that contractually, lawyers cannot ditch you, but may be the case is palmed off to one of his assistants) for a more lucrative case? What should the lawyer do then?

Sure, Barun can look out for his own interests, but when you do it selfishly, without a second thought to the very medium that has given you fame/popularity, without thought towards your co-stars, most importantly, without any thought towards your audience, I am sorry, but there is only one word for it - unprofessional!

First let me make it clear I'm not talking just about one single profession here ... In general even if it's a MD or VP or even a president and if they get a better job offer do you think they'll refuse it just because they know that their decision would sink the company or affect it badly. NO I don't think so and that's human nature... everyone wants success in life and there's nothing wrong in that.

I agree with your post to a certain extent. But I don't agree with the word UNPROFESSIONAL. because we don't and will NEVER know the real scenario. What made him make that decision , how did he talk to the PH about it , how did they take it , even if he's gonna leave for sure , is the show gonna end because of him or it was gonna end anyways. We will NEVER get the right answers for that from anyone. So calling him UNPROFESSIONAL is wrong.

Everyone is entitled to express their POV so no offense ... but I think you should remove the word unprofessional.
