So true!! Growing up and facing situations is the ultimate test of character and integrity. For

Mayank and others growing up in a joint family = the pressure to conform is humongous and I suspect that is playing a major role in his character development and ability to summon the courage to face family elders.

Regarding his relation with his mother - I suspect this fall in relationship was bound to happen. She is least concerned about marriage compatibility or her son's happiness. His mother is greedy and is using him as a means to obtain abundant wealth and comfort in the form of dowry.

I think he will gather the courage this time and tell the family that he don't want to marry Charu.But if he don't then i don't mind Gunjun falling for someone else and he can go to hell and marry Charu Then there will be no one to blame but him self

i think this drama will goon till a long time atleast till gunjan decides to leave or till the d day ...because what else they r going to show us now ...

It will be too embarassing for the family and an for insult for Charu and her family if they drag this till D day,

Meanwhile they could explore Rachna's in laws or to be husband, and Rajiv. Or maybe Gunjan's dad could take Gunjan and Rachna on a Mumbai trip. Or Mayank could apply for training while waiting for college to reopen. The CVs c diould come something totally different!

Agree - he should not confess his love openly. If he wishes he need not confess his love for Gunjan at all right now - but he has to get off the wedding committment. Charu's people and soon his own family will begin the preparations - particularly sending out invitations.
