fashion - who decides what a woman wears? men. how so? because we wear what is fashionable. what is 'in'. what makes us look sexy. guess who decided those standards and norms? men did. why do women have to shave every friggin last piece of hair off their bodies? because men like it so. so that women look like prepubescent little girls which is sadly their underlying fantasy. i am not saying all men do this. there are good men. but those who control the big wheels in this world are not necessarily so.

movies - do you know that while making the move The Hunger Games the studios actually wanted a male lead in the movie as they did not want to risk their millions of $ on a female protagonist.

religion - how many religions have females running the show? its almost always males and they are often inserting their own sordid views and ulterior motives and corrupting the essence of the religion. again not all of them. but a heck of a lot of them do so.

politics - i swear most wars are a result of 'my pe*** is bigger than yours'. the machismo..the grand standing behavior..the my way or the high way..the power struggle to get the oil, money, land, or in the olden days, the hot women, ..it sickens me. this may read off as a joke but if all the countries had female leaders, there would be no wars. just a lot of 'I am not talking to you today' and huffed silences. :P

anyways, that is why it is so refreshing and amazing to see a man give a woman her due. he is not doing her any favors. he is just displaying his own intelligence :) and the reason why so many of us wish so ardently for arnav to do the same.

Chapter 1 - I really wish it would happen like this. But we all know, it will not.

Chapter 2 : What a sensible close to Dadi chapter. Just like they made La bow out with grace and her head held high, I wish when the time comes, the CVs go this route and redeem Dadi a bit and give her the chance to be called a respected elder instead of a reviled elder.
