I liked the episode - it felt like an actual wedding is about to happen with all the comfortable banter between two families who know each other well, the teasing by NK and Akash of their bhai, ASR keeping his gaze on his dulhan and his obvious happiness at the sheer joy on her face throughout (this is the wedding she'd always wanted with plenty of laughter and her loved ones and family around to witness it - plus she's crazy about the dulha and he's more than made it clear that he reciprocates) and, of course, ASR's patented move of getting himself some privacy with his Khushi at the earliest opportunity. Everyone had a part to play - Shashi, Mami, Nani, Akash, Payal, Anjali, Buaji and even Amma, Dadi and Shyam.
Loved Nani and NK's open snubbing of Shyam though it looked like Shyam had orchestrated the events to play up to Anjali. And of course, the moments between dulha and dulhan were absolutely precious and so cute.
I notice a lot of SGs are really angry at Shyam's blatant staring at Khushi. My perception on this is that this was done intentionally by the story tellers and not just a gratuitous indication of the pervert that Shyam is. They know the audience is aware of his true colours, so why show this? Shyam has come back colder, less buffonish (shall we say) and more focused and thus infinitely more dangerous for phase 2. Add to that the success of his first stated goal - getting back into RM. He is now focused on his second stated goal of making sure Arnav and Khushi never become one. He knows the family does not trust him and he is only being tolerated for Anjali and so needs to lie low. So, what does he do? He observes everyone from the edges of the crowd in GH and catches Garima's obvious palpitations at the mention of Dadi's name. However, he cannot help but stare at Khushi despite a room full of people that are aware of him, distrust him and know of his history with Khushi. It is because he cannot help himself - Khushi is his one weakness, his one obsession that we have been allowed to see so far - the rest of his past is still shrouded in secrecy. He also glanced at her the day of the mehendi when he came in disguised as a dhol wala to see Anjali during the godgbharai - again, it was almost like he was helpless until he caught himself and managed to focus himself back to the plan on hand. I took his actions today to mean he is in the process of getting distracted by his weakness again (one that I think by now he is aware of) and it means he will lose focus and make mistakes and not be successful in his goals. That is a good sign considering that ASR is distracted by his wedding to Khushi and is ostensibly making the mistake of shoving the issue of Shyam to the backburner until he is married. Plus, NK noticing Shyam's action and his reaction to it is a very good sign - he will be on the lookout for his friend. Hope that calms down some of the SGs and helps them to enjoy the episode just a tad bit more. 😊

Anjali has to see his villainy up front and hear it from his mouth to snap out of her bubble... no second hand will do for her ...see what happened last time ...

Somehow , I feel that Shashi is going to play an important part in the unveiling of Shyam this time!

1. How come RM padosi's are shown to gossip quite openly about RM waasis..but LN padosis don't wonder aloud about Shyam showing up from Ladkon waala side ?
2. How come Ladki and Ladka waalas are applying menhdi to ladka and ladki resp.. thats no rasam..
3. How come Aakash is now reduced to being a dupatta holder .. Chindi-chor PH couldn't afford any other way to keep him in a scene ?
   
4. How many steps from where Dadi, Nani and Bua were standing ..to where Garima was hyperventilating ? Dang !!.. I want to win doc's sharth
   
5. Where do I sign up up to send donations to send Garima for some acting classes ?
6. Since when did mami become so chummy with Garima that she wanted to play haldi-holi ?

Also.. on similar note.. maybe it's just me...I am really over the track of Nanku running away from Buaji ...

It was funny the first time ..when they showed "humho bhi do".. and maybe couple of times after that..but now it is really not anymore.. . and I love buaji and Nanku... but seeing him running away from her.. for the stupidest reason..and today even ASR using it to get rid of Nanku.. .. me no likey 👎🏼 I hope they cut down these kinda jokes. Buaji may be overly affectionate and I love her.. I want to see Nanku and her interact more.. I am over the joke !!.. show some more interesting interactions between these two..CVs..you have a gold mine here.. explore the options !
