Chapter 26: Rebuilding Lives after the Huge Turmoil

Viraat and Maanvi go to their room.

Viraat: Maanvi, start packing.

Maanvi: Viraat, can I suggest something

Viraat: yes of course

Maanvi: Let's bring Ma and Shlok along so that they get a change of atmosphere and feel better

Viraat: That's a good Idea

They go downstairs.

Viraat: Mom, We are leaving for the overseas trip in two days. Please come with us

Vanshika: No Son. I don't feel like it

Maanvi: Please Ma

Vanshika: Pls Don't Force me

Maanvi: In that case Shlok will come along with us.

Viraat: Yes That's right Shlok is coming with us

Shlok: But Bhai Its your Honeymoon trip.

Viraat: Its finalized. Now no excuses

Maanvi: Chalo lets go shopping now.

The three of them go out to the mall and start shopping. Meanwhile Viraat calls Nani and informs her about their trip and requests her to take care of Vanshika. She Gladly agrees. When they reach home they start packing.

Two Days Later,

Viraat: Maanvi, Shlok come on. We have a flight to catch.

Maanvi: Coming… Ma, Please bless me.

Vanshika: God Bless you. Have a safe trip.

Viraat: So you are here. Mom, Nani will come over shortly. Take care of yourself. Call me if there is anything.

Vanshika: Ok Viraat now go on.

Viraat: Shlok…..

Shlok: Bhai I was just taking pictures

Maanvi: But what is there to take?

Shlok: Our Luggages and things Bhabi. Just Look at them…

The three of them leave the house and go to the airport. Soon they are on the flight.

Maanvi: Viraat you have not told us where we are going.

Viraat: You will see when we land.

After many hours,

Welcome to Greece Mr Viraat. I am Paul your tour guide.

Viraat: Thanks Paul.

Paul: We will be going to your hotel now.

Chapter 27: Day 1 - GREECE

The three of them reach the hotel and enter the suite allocated to them. It was a spacious one which could accomadate all three of them since it had two rooms in it. They settle down and Maanvi begins to unpack taking out clothes for the next morning. They were just too tired to eatand all fell asleep the moment they could.

At about 3 am,

Viraat: Maanvi wake up

Maanvi: Viraat why are you not sleeping

Viraat: I am Hungry

Maanvi: What? At this time there isn't even a slightest possibility of food

Viraat: Oh God

Maanvi: Relax I was kidding. I will be back.

Maanvi goes to her luggage and takes out the instant milo packs and made three cups. She then asks Viraat to come to the dining table while she makes her way to Shlok's room. She peeps in to see Shlok pacing the room

Maanvi: Shlok come to the dining table

Shlok: Bhabi you are awake? Why?

Maanvi: Yes I am. Now Chalo

At the dining table, Maanvi passes the glasses and the biscuits she had. All three of them eat their biscuits and drink the milo.

Shlok: Bhabi how did you know I was awake

Maanvi: Come on Shlok Everyone here is hungry.

After the food, Maanvi switches on the TV and everyone watches the movie Anastasia a Disney cartoon. Soon it was morning and everyone goes to get ready.

After another round of breakfast, the three of them meet Paul at the lobby.

Paul: Today, we will be visiting the places of Attraction here in Greece and by Lunch we should be ready for shopping. After shopping, you will be off to your next destination where my colleague Sam will be waiting for you. Firstly we will be visiting The Acropolis and the Parthenon which dominate Athens.Even if there were no Parthenon, the Acropolis is worth the visit just for the magnificent view of Athens and the surrounding temples below. And now the New Acropolis Museum nearby is an attraction worth seeing all by itself. Then we will go to the Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon.This is one of those spots that is as much a favorite with the locals as it is with the tourists. The view of the monument against the sea is breathtaking.

They explore the places and click many pictures of the place.

Later on they go shopping and in the late afternoon reach back. They begin packing and soon it was time for their next flight.

Chapter 28: Day 2 : United States of America and Cruise

They landed at New York Airport and were greeted by Sam. They checked into their rooms and left for sightseeing. They visited the Statue of Liberty and Shlok was awed by the structure. They took many pictures and at that point, Shlok realized how much is brother was missing out.

After that, in the evening it was time for their cruise. They boarded the ship and went to the reception. There Shlok took the responsibility of checking in. He then returned back with the keys.

Shlok: Bhabi here are the keys. We can move into the room in five minutes.

Maanvi: Wait a minute. 205 and 305. That's like different floors.

Viraat: Let me take a look.

Maanvi: See Viraat.

Shlok: Bhai, Bhabi its okay. Its just a floor apart

Just then the room boy comes.

Room Boy: Sir the rooms are ready.

Shlok parts and tells them that they will meet at the breakfast table the next day. Maanvi enters the room first. As she explores the room, she is pulled onto the bed by a naughty looking Viraat. She nudges him to let go but he refuses. He turns her over such that she is now below him. He slowly plants kisses on her. Maanvi suddenly says Shlok. Viraat quickly moves away and Maanvi starts laughing. She then tells him to take a shower before sleeping. She goes to unpack the bags and Viraat goes to the bathroom.

A while later,

Viraat: Maanvi I need help. I left my towel outside

Maanvi: Stop Lying Viraat

Viraat: Seriously its on the bed

Maanvi: I see it. Give me a minute.

Maanvi takes the towel and moves towards the bathroom.

Maanvi: Here's your towel

Viraat extends his hand out and instead of grabbing the towel, he grabs Maanvi into the shower. She loses her balance and steadies herself by supporting herself using Viraat's chest.

Maanvi: Viraat what have you done. Look I am all wet.

Viraat: And Sexy

Maanvi: Very funny

Viraat seals her lips with his before she could say another word. After a long time, they break apart to catch their breath. Maanvi blushes and Viraat continues what he left outside. He plants more kisses and notices Maanvi shivering. He closes the water pipe and reaches for the nearest towel. He wipes Maanvi and feels bad at the same time.

Viraat: Maanvi I'm Sorry

Maanvi: Viraat relax okay

Viraat had by then lost his mood. He tells Maanvi he will be back and goes out of the bathroom. He then comes back in with the clothes Maanvi had kept on the bed. He passes it to Maanvi and goes out of the bathroom to give her space to change.

Maanvi feels bad for upsetting Viraat and makes up her mind to cheer him up. She quickly changes and goes out quietly to see Viraat looking out of the window at the pitch dark ocean. She silently picks up her phone and goes near him playing the song.

Chapter 29: Day 3 – Adventures in the Cruise

Maanvi woke up to her phone ringing. She picks it up and it was a call from Jeevika.

Maanvi: Di. How are you. How is everyone. How is Ma especially.

Jeevika: Maanvi everyone are fine here. Vanshika Chachi…

Maanvi: Di any problem.

Jeevika: Nothing Don't Panick. Please call Chotte

Maanvi wakes Viraat up and passes him the phone.

Viraat: Yes Di.

Jeevika: Chotte, hope you are having a nice time there.

Viraat: Yeah Di. Its Awesome. Wish you were here as well

Jeevika: Chotte, Chachi wants Shlok to come home soon.

Viraat: Why Di.

Jeevika: The University he had applied for had called up a while ago and he has an interview for his Law seat in 4 days time

Viraat: That's such a good news. Okay Di. I will send him back. Take Care Di. Bye

Maanvi: What was it about Viraat. Any Problem.

Viraat: Maanvi, Ma

Maanvi: What about Ma. Is she okay. We shouldn't have left her alone.

Viraat: Maanvi calm down. Ma wants Shlok back cause his interview is in 4 days

Maanvi: The Law Faculty One

Viraat: Yes

Maanvi: Yippee

They get ready and meet Shlok at the breakfast table.

Viraat: Akash there is a good news for you

Maanvi: And a not so good one

Viraat: Which would you like to hear first

Shlok: Bhai just say it. What is it?

Viraat : You got through to the interview for your Law seat

Shlok: Really When is it

Maanvi i: In four days

Shlok: That means I have to leave soon

Viraat: You will be boarding a flight home with us today

Shlok: Bhai its your honeymoon

Viraat: Your Law seat is more important

Shlok: Bhai please continue your trip.

Maanvi: No Akash. Your Brother is right

Shlok: Bhai Bhabi, if you are coming back with me I would rather not go for the interview

After much persuation, Viraat and Maanvi agree to stay back. In the afternoon, the cruise reaches its destination, Canada. The three of them spend the afternoon shopping and in the evening, Shlok boards the flight home with all the purchases made.

In the flight,

Shlok thinks to himself : I was trying so hard to give their privacy back to them that I had to request for keys to rooms at different floors even though side by side rooms were available. Now Thank God, I get the opportunity to stay away. Hope Bhai and Bhabi enjoy themselves.

Back at the Hotel,

Maanvi is hugging Viraat.

Maanvi:I am missing Shlok already

Viraat: He will be fine. Don't worry

Maanvi: I hope he gets it

They both fall asleep cuddling.

Little did they know, it was going to be the start for new relationships and the end of old bonds.

Chapter 30: Home Sweet Home

3 weeks Later, At the Airport

Shlok was waiting for Viraat and Maanvi. He had missed them a lot while they were on their honeymoon trip exploring many different places. Their flight had landed and they were expected to come out soon.

Viraat: Shlok, How are you

Shlok: I am Good Bhai

Maanvi: How is everyone at home

Shlok: They are fine Bhabi. Come Let's go home

The three of them leave for home. When they enter the house, they see Vanshika together with Nani sitting in the living room. After seeking their blessings, the three of them go up to the room.

Viraat: Di We're back

Jeevika: Chotte I missed you so much.

Viraat: Me too Di

Maanvi: Di where's the latest addition

Jeevika: With Mum in her room. By the way, Karan is angry with you and Chotte

Maanvi: Di, I am really sorry. In fact the two of us were so upset that we couldn't be with you. We came back as soon as there were seats in the flight back just to see him and you.

Jeevika: I was joking. Go and see him

Viraat and Maanvi went to Kadhambari Mami's room and saw Viren with his baby sitting down speaking to Mami. Maanvi approaches Viren and he passes her the baby. She carries him and cuddles him together with Viraat.

Maanvi: Viraat here carry him

Viraat: Maanvi me…

Maanvi: Yes, come I'll help you

Karan is given to Viraat and Viraat holds him carefully when Karan yawns before giving a smile. Both of them compliment his looks and pass him back to Viren. They then go out where Nani was seated. They seek blessings from Nani and search for Vanshika. She appears with a solemn look on her face.

Khushi: Ma, are you okay. Is anything wrong.

Vanshika just shakes her head and goes to sit beside Nani. Just then Shlok arrives.

Shlok: Bhai Bhabi you are back from seeing Di

Viraat: Shlok why weren't you picking up the calls. So what happened.

A small smile crept out of Shlok's face and Maanvi realized what it meant. She started jumping around in joy and hugged both Shlok and Viraat at the same time. Viraat then congratulated Shlok for getting into the Law course he wanted.

After some time, they went to freshen up and they distributed the gifts they had gotten. Over the next few days, Viraat and Maanvi had to adapt back to the timings and soon it was a week after their holiday.

Viraat had woke up only to realize Maanvi was still sleeping. He touched her forehead but she was not running a fever. Thinking it was so weird of her to still sleep, he gently woke her up. When she knew she was late in waking up, Maanvi panicked. She hurriedly went to take her bath. As she brushed her teeth, she stared at herself in the full length mirror. She felt different and there was a strange glow on her face. Just then…..
