Wonderful Post. If someone is in the acting or for that matter any PUBLIC profession, they fully are prepared for Highs and Lows, Praises and Put Downs, Boquets and Brickbats. If they are not prepared for that and want to act sensitive, then they are in the wrong profession.

As to the posts which make the rounds as if they are authorized and authored by the star itself, here is my opinion about that.

I sincerely believe the type of Posts which are more of "putting words in an actors mouth and projecting their feelings of hurt as actors hurt" does more damage to the actor than any sort of negative criticism can.

Barun has in many interviews mentioned he is jarred and looks quite uneasy at all the feamle attention he gets and their incessant push and shove to touch him. He mentioned as much in bouth magazine and video interviews.

Has his uneasiness ever stopped any of the feamles on this forum writing absoultely and explicitly about what they want to do to him. They are considered positive posts? After he expresses his unease, do these fans think he gets happy seeing how teenagers and mature ladies are describing his ass, his muscles and writing in as sexual manner as possible what they want to do to him?

Don't get me wrong. I see nothing wrong in talking about how sexy he is. I am just mentioning, that he finds talk about his sexy image a bit uneasy. That did not bring out the moral police, has it?

Many a stars including the great Amitabh have been panned mercilessly by fans and critics for acting in some of his recent movies. Do you think he is sitting and crying and sad. Tomorrow when Baruns movie comes out, people including critics, some will pan him and lot of them may praise him. Do you think he will stop acting, because he sees negative reviews about his acting and his movie debut.

Actors are fully aware of the fact that their profession is a public profession and will be under the microscope once fame is attaines. they are very aware of the fact that they are putting themselves out there to be objectified, written about, praised and skewered.

Fans telling others he is feeling sad reading negative things about him, makes him look like someone who cannot handle all the benefits and brick bats that come with stardom.

So if one is a true fan, they should stop making posts saying things which he never said out loud to any media or never mentioned any of his feelings out to the media.

Even if he did say it to someone on the sets, he told that in confidence, not to get it published on forums and make him look like someone who cannot handle negative things and only want positive things.

I just wish, so called fans, stop and think and see how these type of moral policing and juxtaposition of their interprations as the said actors interpetations are what causes immense harm to the actor. Not the criticism of his acting talents, hari cuts or tired looks !!!!

You know what I don't think actors expect to be adored 24/7 they know that they will be critcized every actor is and will be! They are all sensible enough to take in honest criticism and will use it to their benefit and improve.

The point is there is a difference between constructive criticism and balant attacking, posting nasty comments about their personal life.I don't want to dwell into what has been said cause the topic is closed and done with.It is a fact though he is the only one that has been bashed the most in this forum since the beginning people on twitter have named it the Barun Bashing Zone. If he has visited the forum and seen this well I wouldn't blame him the topics weren't even constructive criticism they were personal remarks about him.But that being said I highly doubt he has time to visit this place I don't know how reliable the person is, but he seems to be someone who wouldn't give two hoots about what people say, I mean the guy is still pretty clueless that he has a big fan following LOL!


About Daljeet I have no idea why she is being blamed for this story line YES I do not like this track at all and maybe Daljeet may/may not have a hand in it. Yes I agree she did sit down and demand for a more meaty role but I don't think she can influence them this much. Maybe it's just me but for sure she doesn't write the story, the writers do and if they don't realize what the true USP of the show is AKA Arnav and Khushi then it's their fault not DB. With that being said I am tired of hearing her justifying Anjali's character cause I never saw other actors justify their characters even Barun said in an interview who would like such a khatarnak character like his.

Oh oh I don;t think a guy who laughed at a post made on the forum about him

I think people should be allowed to give their honest opinions about the show. If I feel the show or something in the show isn't upto the mark, I can't really be saying false positive things to please others. And if the channel/PH/actors do visit the forum, I think they have a right to receive both positive and negative stuff so that they can have a balanced view. And I don't know whether some opinions in the internet can close the show down. I thought the channel cared only about TRPs and profits. And if the channel still feels they have to shut a show because people are expressing their honest opinions, then I say so be it. Coming to the fans, they are the best critics an actor (movie/tv/artist/politician etc) can posses. Criticism is costructive and abusing is destructive, they both overlap at one point. When crticism overboards abusing starts. Amateur critics sometimes trend towards abusing an actor (movie/tv/artist/politician etc) which creates -ve effect on an actor.

I don't know if IPKKND cast happened to see amateur criticisms or non IPKKND fan abuses, but both of them would definitely click wrong buttons in them, unless they (IPPKND Cast) take constructive criticisms for betterment and discard the amateur criticisms/ abusive verbs.

I don't believe it for a second. Barun is busy as hell, he doesn't even attend any events or award shows and he's going to come here and get "upset" over what fans think of him? He is WAY too cool for that.

And as Akshay said, he doesn't even know if Sanaya owns a computer. I doubt these actors spend ANY time on IF, they are working 20 hours per day. The rest are spent with their family, Barun himself said that. I'll take his word over anyone else's.

Even if they do see, I feel any honest person in the creative field will be more satisfied reading criticism on points where he/she is going wrong rather that praises. Yes probably he/she should decide which might be true criticism or just over the board rude remarks.

Most of the posts nowadays are simply on the quality of the show / current track and not on BS / SI. Personally I don't care much about the track as long as they take care of not leaving any unexplained loose ends... many exist in ipkknd land like the recent glass pieces, blood marks, di feet. These are really silly scenes which could have been simply closed by the story tellers rather than leave the audience wonder as to where, how and why???? I also feel frustated at some characters chosing to keep truth to themselves, at the female leads shocking statement in the 5th aug episode and at the potrayal of the male lead as a naive young man who has no idea what happens in his own house considering he is actually a harvard educated leading businessman.

Anyways, there are plenty of blogs and facebook pages dedicated to the actors and one visit to them will give any actor a morale boost if they need !!!!!

Yes criticism can be destructive too but very rarely does it reach the level of destruction...currently the fans are frustrated to say the least...

DB is a different issue altoghter, she came up begging for mercy on RM, she negotiated for no body knows for what but a meatier role for sure. So the track is an outcome of her bargain no one can ever deny it. Blaming her for the entire fiasco is upto the individuals to decide..
