Wow annie I can actually picturise you doing all that😆
I... Am... Totally... Speechless!!😲 😳
I would like to applaud you for having the courage to put forth the truth about your thoughts running through your mind, about the proposal and the meeting! Your dad was immensely supportive about it and I really, really love it!
Your mother and aunt's bewilderment is understood since she was rejecting a good proposal for one (not a proposal, but a meeting only) that had no future, regarding the reality of those messages the two exchanged and the utter confession of making it clear that this was not an alliance, but just a meeting! Though the two didn't know about it, yet the shock and fear was vivid on their faces and speech.
Allah has made us in pairs. For every good man, there is a good woman and vice versa. [23:26]
This is what I believe too! Not because of you putting it in in this chapter or not because I like the movie Dil Toh Pagal Hain [which states the same thing] and not at all to be kind.
I believe it, because I want to. I have faith in it too, so I let Time decide it.
Oh I did not know Dil To Pagal Hai had it..so thanks for letting me know, although shahrukh khan movies usually have liners that catch people's attention. I love the way he says in Omshantiom "I have loved you with such depth/desperation that the whole universe was forced to work towards bringing us together" but yeah nothing in Islam that supports that line so I don't believe that one. Rather I believe when you ask for something with sincererity to God (Allah) He will either give it to you when the right time comes or He will give you what is better for you (if what you are asking for is not) or He will remove a calamity 0r misfortune coming your way equivalent to the good you asked for but did not get. And if you get none then it will be saved for you in the hereafter. (This is in our hadith book).
If I'm destined to remain unmarried, no one can change that regardless of whether I receive proposals or not. & If I'm destined to marry Arshad, trust me, even if I reject it, something or the other will happen on both our sides that will lead to our marriage eventually. But if I'm not destined to marry him, then even if I accept it, something or the other will happen such that it will not go ahead.
I strongly believe that what we do, leads to our future shaping in that way. Our present actions decide on what will happen later. Because every single thing, our actions, words, ranging from small to big, is entwined with the way our future will come and take shape. That creates our Destiny. Yes, I'm not totally into God making our own Destiny, but there are times, when you blame God for it, and then you realise that what you did once, is the reason this is all happening. Something, somewhere is indirectly linked to what is happening now. Yes, it was your decision. Your choice. It is up to you to choose what is right and what is wrong for your life. Your marriage too, is your decision, since it is about YOUR life's future.
Marriage definitely needs to happen only with the approval of both people getting married because they will be facing eachother every day for life. And the other thing is, (I know this from experience that) you can face things when you know you are to blame but if it were somebody else's mistake that you suffer for, it hurts more and you will not take initiative to fix things the way you would when the decision is yours. Not because you don't want to but because that is the way it is. When you lead you have to take responsibilty of your decision and when anyone else leads, they take that responsibility.
I agree with Ghausia [Mistiix3] on the matter of the Heart trying to tell you if it is right or wrong. An Intuition of a woman is what is right. Yes, you do need proof in this Big World to prove something is wrong, yet the intuition is never wrong. So you should trust your instincts and follow it. Not all the time, should you just listen to your Heart, like IPKKND's Khushi does, but you should listen to your head too. In matters of feelings, most of the time or all the time, Heart is right, while in matters of logic, intellectuality, your Head helps you all the time. But yes, there are times, when even in feelings you need to listen to your Head, because there are situations that arise, because of your previous actions [which you of course can't remember if they were done eons ago], and have a huge impact on your Life. IPKKND's Arnav handled matters of his heart, of Feelings with his head too, and that's why it was hard for him to comprehend many things happening to him, would be in a very foul mood, almost everyday, with his mind battling the heart.
Agree😊
Back to the update,
Khushi's happiness was very sweet, and it still had a ray of hope of Arnav Saleem Riyaasat... *sigh* Haaye!!! Kya naam hain Jeeju ka!! *sigh*
Mike testing! 1, 2, 3!!! *ah ahem* *straightening my shirt and skirt* *settling my spectacles back on my nose*
Yup, her soul still hung onto the ray of hope of ASR thinking about an alliance with her... But am glad that she didn't let it hover on her mind and heart after reading his third message, which fortunately she opened on time. Yes, she was disappointed with her hopes shattering, but her courage is commendable. YOUR Courage is commendable, Love! 👏 Expectations then would have shattered her totally and would have left her with nothing, if ASR had rejected her. So her not expecting anything in return from him, shone her in a different light with her personality coming to the fore, that she definitely is not clingy. But the connection that she realised the two had, was still strong and became stronger the second time he came home at their get-together party!
First of all, I had no idea about him coming again!
But about the first meeting, it was Ah ahem... and straight face and less talk! Sheesh!! You guys didn't even talk much! :P That disheartened me, since I was expecting at least more of that conversation, except the 'Hi' and 'Bye'!😛
One thing I wanted to ask is, Khushi said, 'Thanks and Good Bye', meaning that since he hadn't even spoken to her and since she was not having any expectations from this visit of his either, she was ready to let go and had already left the rope. But his 'Thanks...Bye' amused me a lot. Was this something, a hint of yours to tell us about ASR's already active mind, with an invisible smoke coming out of the chimney, indicating that there was some khichdi cooking in his head? 😉 Because it definitely caught my attention well enough, and so I read it again and again. He somehow didn't want it to be a 'Good Bye' now at least, after he had come face to face with Khushi K.G.!
That night amazed me for a long time whenever I thought of it..how can someone come all the way after chatting for 6 months and not want to talk? 😕 But anyway as I know now..you will have to wait to read about it in the upcoming chapters😉
Yes, Khushi is so right about the fact of Arnav trying to mask his feelings again. He had let some of it slip through his messages, but he had put it back on realising how desperate he sounded in his first two messages, though it was written in simple, elegant choice of words, and with formality edging it. His second message had made him sound desperate to know about her, since the fact of him sending a message regarding their meeting a second time did so!
How can someone you have never met, take over your life, like you have no control over it and how can everything around you, remind you of him? Even more so, how can someone think of the same thing, you think of, at the same time?
I would definitely like to see this person at least once in life and put a nice ending to it. So when I look back in life, I will not remember him with tears but with joy that I had met someone in the world, who had the same frame of mind as me.
These were lovely words, and I agree with you! 👏Even I would love to meet such a person, not for any alliance or something big like that for a reason, but just to meet them in person and give it a nice and happy ending, if after meeting it didn't lead to any further meeting(s) or conversations.
And is Khushi working in Dubai? Meaning did she apply for it after coming home?
Heheheeheh...Oooh!!😆 This happens a lot of times!! When you are nervous/excited/impatient about something or someone, you at times want to break the second person's head or something, or in this case, want to bang the phone down!! :P
Khushi was always working in an MNC hun. Right at the intro I had mentioned it and doing MBA classes at night. You have probably forgotten the intro and first chapter...but that happens when you are into reading too many FFs. nothing worry when I'm here to remind 😉
Khushi had a break after her MBA exams and hence applied for leave from work as well during then, to be able to go to Canada, since her dad had planned it all.
I loved the fact that you didn't want to cake yourself up and cleaned the make-up all before entering the house, with the presumption that ASR and his family was already here! *Sheldon-Cooper-smile* That was Jhakaas!!! ⭐️
In the VM too, Ghausia did a great job of putting that Khushi running in on time scene where Arnav was seated inside waiting for her!! Khushi running in, indicated the scene in this chapter of her rushing in, while him waiting inside was her thought!! :D
And a WOW!!!! For putting that Curtain scene of Khushi peeping out to have a look at him and getting mesmerised by his ever-so-gorgeous looks!! Even the tray clattering scene, indicating that her hands were trembling while holding the tray full of 9 glasses!
Their movements were well described in the chappy as well as the VM!! I wonder if Arnav was moving parallely just to keep up with Khushi and keep her in his vision while he spoke to his little cousin?
I don't know and you know he won't admit it if we told him that he did it intentionally.😆
Back to second meeting, WHAT THE?!

A positive one though!! 😆 That was heart stopping!! 😆 Seriously!! I hadn't expected it anyway! Reading that Arnav was back again, I thought he may have come to visit them again on her parent's insistence! Mind you am saying, '
her'!! And then may have decided to talk to her, since it wasn't possible on their first meeting! :P You made me your official spectator here!! With Ghausia, I was watching it literally!! You have described every single thing Fabulously!! AMAZING, Love!!
Oh! So you don't have an engagement ceremony! It's not that i had presumed or anything, but I did have a doubt if you people exchanged rings or not! As soon as I read Rado, I was like swooning on the name itself! Even ASR faded away from the scene! But I tried hard and brought him back into focus and was drooling over him, wearing that fashionable classic watch [though I don't know which model, but am allowed to imagine right?] and standing smartly amidst the crowd in his two piece suit, with a thin tie adorning the length of his upper body, from the neck to his narrow waist! Or does he have a narrow waist? Koi paunch hain kya unko?🤣 Kidding Love!! :P
Lol He was really slim and yes the suit fit his slim structure well😉 Paunch is something men get after marriage when they eat too much of their wife's cooking. When he came from Australia, he was by himself there so either ate out or cooked maggie for himself (his childhood fav)
😆
Hahahah...Her decision to not show her green dress to him, but to wear it for the get-together party was shattered!! :P Hahahah... ☺️That was so cute to see her astonishment and her bewilderment on hearing her dad say, How else would you get Engaged!! And that too so nonchalantly!! :P I pray that you had held a priceless expression, leading Arnav to smirk like that!! Hmm...toh yeh khichdi pak rahi thhi, sahib zaade ke dimaage mein!! :P
I think that is a very integral part of his personality - to shock people be it in a good way or bad
Among all this, I was waiting to see Payal's reaction too! I had mixed emotions about it, since I couldn't really come up with any final reaction and left it on the update and kept on reading it! I was a bit astonished to see her reaction like that, but I tried to see it from her POV too! And I realised that her feelings are genuine, of course, along with her intuition tingling about something! Now her mind won't be at rest of course, with the thought nagging at her, and she will say it to Khushi like in the next update! I just hope that it's not heart-breaking or anything, since I have a feeling of Khushi getting broken again. But I just pray that it steels her courage even more and helps her brace for the next ups and downs of what Destiny has held up for her! What Allah has written up for her! Ok feel quite naughtily content that I must have surprised you and Abeer with my ch 8 as both of you were expecting something to go really wrong. Well I have to let you feel the way I felt at every point so yeah I had that feeling too that something bad will be revealed but nothing that bad came up then. Its like the hindi proverb, 'Khoda Pahaad, nikli chuhiya!''(dug the mountain to find the mighty source of the problem but came to know it was just a mouse!)
Even I was so happy for Khushi/You!!! I really felt like dancing around my whole society! Wished to dance with you, and Abeera!! Wished to just break this house down in happiness and just fly away!! I am really happy to see you engaged now, but there is still a feeling that you will be coming across something huge now, since Arnav has to reveal something now. Payal's words will definitely haunt her thoughts and if Arnav isn't making any move to tell her anything, Khushi will definitely make some move to bring it all out, but will have to brace herself for some real heartbreaking reaction or something like that! I know it doesn't make sense? Does it? :P
It does and you will know later why
👏 And Ghausia, you put the in the scene of Payal and Khushi praying to Devi Mayya, to indicate the scene of Payal and Khushi thanking Allah for their respective actions!!! It was wonderfully put!! You did a Great and Fantastic job here!! Would love to see some more videos from you, and of course it would be lovely to see you and Abeera [Abeer - ACTywm] work together on a few videos too!! It would definitely be a treat for all us readers and a wonderful gift for Shariqa Dee!! Yes I would love that😃 Perhaps at the end of this whole thing we should get them both to do a Vm together😆.
During the updates, time is so short that it is hardly enough for me to coordinate with just one of them as we go back and forth with edits. I'm sure they will agreee with me😊
Thank you to both of you for giving us a Beautiful Chapter and VM!!!👏 And the song was just perfect, I tell you! Just Perfect! 🤗
Ramadan Kareem to both of you and also to Abeera!!
Thank you!
Annie😳
P.S.: Thank you for the PM, Deedee!! Hope to you see you guys soon, after Ramadan is over!!! Take care and be in touch!!
