priya paced to n fro in her room thinking about ram... she wanted to call him but something held her back, she kept looking at the phone n finally gathered a lil courage n pressed ram's number

ram who had just done dressing his wound all by himself saw his phone flashing an ISD number...

R: uuufff yeh rajat bhi na... he answered in an irritating tone... haan rajat bol..!!

priya clutched on to the receiver of her phone tightly... she held her breath for a while n let her breath out uttering RAAMM

he felt his heart bit pacing... his breath turning fast n shallow... haan bolo.. he managed to say under his breath

P: ap... ap thik toh hai na??

ram looked at his wound n smiled sarcastically... haan mujhe kya ho sakta hai??

there was an eerie silence between da 2... n finally ram broke in.. peehu kaisi hain ab??

P: haan woh ab thik hai... woh main ap se..

ram didn't let her finish.. priya main zara ek important meeting main hu, i'll call u later..?!

she let out a scornful smile n said.. subah ke 6 baje?? thikse jhoot bolna toh sikhlijiye ram

R: huh...! kya pharak padta hain... jhut bolu ya sach..

P: apna khayal rakhiyega

2-3 days passed to that beautiful incident of Rajat's life... he would still hv goosebumps thinking about it... he was planning one last meeting with pooja before finalizing their big day, their engagement...

he dialed her number cheerfully.. hello pooja

P: haan rajat kahiye..

RJ: woh main tumse milna chahta tha, akele.. is that possible??

priya was surprised at his proffer... he had never asked her to meet alone.. ummm see rajat woh kya hai na main peehu ko akele ghar pe toh chod nehi sakti aur cady bhi apni studies aur kaam ko leke kafi busy hai, so i dont think its a good idea

RJ: areh tum uski fikar maat karo... hum usse daija ke paas chod denge na.. see pooja i understand ki tum kabhi bhi peehu ko akele nehi chodna chahti. she's your priority n so is mine... he assures her
hum apne zindegi ka bohot bada kadam utha ne ja rahe hai so there r stuffs i need to discuss with

priya took a while to think n replied back... ok, thik hai

RJ: ok gr8 so i will pick u up at 7 in the evening

P: yeah its fine

RJ: thnx pooja

P: its fine rajat i knw there are thing we need to discuss

hanging up priya thought to herself... rajat is right... aj sahi mauka hai priya usse bata de apne ateet ke bare mein.. ram ke bare mein.. he needs to knw.. usse pata hona chahiye mere beete huye kal ke bare mein aur aj ke bare mein.. main aj bhi sirf aur sirf ram se pyar karti hu.. yeh rajat ko pata hona chahiye.. main yeh sab sirf apne bacchi ke liye kar rahi hu, she needs a father per hum ram ke zindegi mein wapas nehi ja sakte... aur main rajat ko jhuti ummeed bhi nehi de sakti, main ram ke elava aur kisi ki nehi ho sakti.. agar isse rajat ka faisla badal bhi jaye toh bhi mujhe koi gham nehi ... thinking all that priya's lips curls up into a smile of satisfaction

Rajat's car squealed in front of the main gate of Priya's place, he was right on time, priya waved from the balcony indicating that she'll b right down..

P: peehu... chalo baby...

Pe: offfooo mamma.. ap phir se apni ghadi bhul gayi.. came running her chota packet out of the room... ab jaldise pehenlo we r getting late

P: haan haan meri maa chalo...

Pe: meri maa nehi meri angle..

P: haiye meri angle ab chalo...

peehu came running towards Rajat who was standing leaning to his car

Pe: hi rajat uncle

RJ: hi my princess... kaisi hain ap

Pe: main toh thik hu but ap se bohot naraz hu??

RJ: kyun?? pouting lyk a kid

Pe: ap aj mujhe chodke mamma ko kyun ghumane le ja rahe ho??

RJ: accha toh iss wajah se naraz hain meri princess... he picked peehu up from the ground n gently placed her on the bonnet of the car.. woh kya hain na beta mujhe apki mamma se kuch zazuri baat karni hai... meri princess toh bohot smart hai na.. woh sab kuch samajhti hain

Pe: haan haan, woh toh main hu hi.. accha phir yeh batao mere liye kya laogey??

RJ: ap ke liye... mmm... apki favorite nuts wali chocolate...??

Pe: haan... peehu exclaimed excitedly... woh golu uncle wali

there was always a strange spark in peehu's eyes whenever she spoke about ram n priya never failed to notice it

Priya: bas bas bohot baatein hogayi.. ab chalein peehu??

Pe: haan mamma lets go

they dropped peehu to daija n left

RJ: so where r we going??

P: apne mujhe bulaya hai.. apko nehi pata

RJ: nehi toh maine tumhe kab bulaya.. saying that he winked

P: peehu k favorite restaurant chaley??

rajat smile... your life is all about peehu na??

priya replied in a serious tone... haan rajat

they both remained quiet till they reached da venue

the place was surprisingly calm n esthetically decorated.. priya was gazing around when rajat popped up... pasand aiya??

P: oh toh yeh sab apka kiya dhara hai??

RJ: uummm not really... baithe??

priya gave a doubtful look n took her chair

RJ: see priya main a...

P: ek minute.. i knw yeh plan ap ka hai.. ap mujhe apne ateet ke bare mein batana chahte hai but before u say main apse kuch kehna chahti hu... may i??

RJ: haan sure

P: see rajat ap jante hai main ek single mother hu.. peehu is all i hv got.. but mera ek past bhi tha jiske bare mein apko pata hona chahiye.. she took a pause.. made her heart n soul more determined and continued.. mera naam pooja nehi hai rajat...

RJ: Priya hain... rajat broke in

she was surprised to hear that from him.. it was totally unexpected.. ap.. apko pata tha??

RJ: tumhe kya lagta hai.. jis ladki se main shadi karna chahta hu uska naam bhi main nehi janunga.. come on pooja

P: hmmm... priya nodded... but there r more rajat..

RJ: ji jahapana plz continue.. he wanted to add a lil humour to cheer her up but pria looked really serious

P: maine humesha sirf ek hi insaan se pya kiya hai aur aj bhi karti hu.. rajat i knw maine ap ko instantly shaadi ke liye haan kardiya hai but main ap se pyar nehi karti hu.. ap mere sabse acche dost hai but i dont hv any other feeings for u.. u might call me selfish lekin main yeh sab sirf peehu ke liye kar rahi hu.. she needs a father rajat.. n woh ap se bohot attatched hain, peehu ke papa ke zindegi mein hum wapas nehi ja sakte.. unki ek apni zindegi bas gayi hain

rajat heard her attentively with a very calm smile on his face.. he stretched his smile a little more and said.. pooja, abhi abhi tumne jo bate kahi yeh sab main janta hu.. i knw ki tum mujhse pyar nehi karti ho.. tumhare aur peehu ke papa ke bich mein kya hua main nehi janta aur janna bhi nehi chahta but m sure he must hv been a really lucky man jisse tum itna pyar karti ho

priya smiled back him... unse alag hone ki wajah shayad main hi hu... she sighed... any way.. ek aur baat hain jo main apse kehna chahti hu... peehu ke papa aur koi...

RJ: wait wait pooja.. i think i hv heard more than enough.. tumhara past kya tha kaisa tha mujhe nehi janna... all i know is tha i love you n i want to spent da rest of my life with you

P: lekin meri baat toh suniye..

RJ: bohot hogaya yaar ab meri baat toh suno.. mera bhi toh koi ateet tha na... sabka hota hai.. n its fyn.. ab main bolu.. main bhi kisise pyar karta tha pooja n i knw how u feel.. so yeh past ki baate rehne dete hai... aur khana order kare badi bhook lagi hai.. uske baad mein kabhi continue karenge

priya nodded a yes smiling

rajat who was busy reading some important business papers peaked out from the side of his file n retorted... kuch manners hain ki nehi.. knock karke nehi aa sakti thi... n what do you mean by wht am i doing??

C: aap pooja se shaadi kar rahi ho??

RJ: haan toh??

C: do u even know woh kaun hain??

RJ: haan i knw... still concentrating in his file... she is priya sharma and would be Mrs. Priya Rajat Kapur

C: yeh your r right she is Priya but neither Priya Sharma nor would be Mrs. Priya Rajat Kapur... she is Mrs. Priya Ram Kapoor..!!

da file slipped through his hands n landed on da floor... his widened eyes gunned at her in utter astonishment...!!
