But friends and family sounds good...yes plenty of that for me too as mom is visiting..and hence all the reletives clamouring to see her...besides its a long weekend here...labour day...and the last long w'kend for the summer and the kids return to school on Tuesday...All in all a full on W'kend

Hey Annie (think that's ur name 😳) i was rendered speechless aft friday's episode & THAT IS NOT A COMPLIMENT cvs. I was speechless frm anger & disgust.

And u know wat was the worst thing. When WW was dancing on those glass pieces & showing that weepy face i dint feel an iota of sympathy for her. When they just dragged the scene for mindlessly long minutes i just wanted 2 get behind her & push her myself. I was appalled at how the Cvs ve turned me a sadist & why the F*** am i obsessed with this stupid show. Friday was the limit. Not sure if i ll continue 2 watch it. Hope the TRPs fall below 1 & the CVs axe the show. At least SARUN ll b able 2 get other shows where they can show case their talent!

Shock, horror, shock horror is all that comes to mind about Friday's episode

Its not WW' s tears that has me unsympathetic and aghast after today's episode ASR's tears had me wanting to throw something at the laptop

What was all that about?

This sibling relationship is beyond the realms of my understanding and concept

I am left with my jaw hanging down to the ground and my eyes wide open with absolute horror and disgust

Usually i find the sibling rona-dhona a little OTT but yesterday i actually sympathized with ASR. Coz he actually explained/backed up his emotions & tears by telling Kushi what happened on the day of WW's wedding. His stmt "Everytime Di is happy her happiness is snatched away like mom, dad, hubby, child" actually brought a lump to my throat coz there i c'd actually feel his pain & understand it. As a mother i know how it feels wen a mother has lost a child & how her near & dear ones feel. When i was desperately trying 2 conceive & it dint work out i remember how my sister actually used 2 cry. So i dint find it unreal or OTT nor did WW's reaction.

The prob is while i c'd empathize with ASR, i couldn't feel even an iota of sympathy 4 WW. Believe me i tried. I really tried but i couldn't feel for her. Not sure if that makes me cruel & heartless 😕

My main grouse over the way things are unfolding is that all but one of the characters have been purposely stripped of any moral fiber or reasoning just so that a sole portrayal will stand out as exemplary and just.

There is no point in oohing and aahing over the said portrayal as it is like a race between a fully able bodied person and a paraplegic no great honor in victory and a matter of shame

Absolutely no glory when you ensure integrity for a sole character to get all the praises and hosannas at the cost of diminishing decimating denigrating all the others around it

Think of a race between Usain Bolt and an Insane Dolt- makes you wince doesn't it?

The Late Michael Clarke Duncan starred in a movie adaptation of a novel by Stephen King called the The Green Mile It also starred Oscar winner Tom Hanks Academy nominee James Cromwell multi Emmy nominee David Morse etc

Only one performance was nominated as stellar among the distinguished cast for the Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars for playing the role of John Coffey- yes Michael Clarke Duncan

That is what constitutes to me at least as fair play and a level playing field where the talent of all comes into play for fair appraisal and scrutiny and it is up to each actor to perform to potential and allow us to judge fairly without having custom made tracks dialogues scenes and degrading the intrinsic nature of the other characters to make them shine

Stand out performances will then have true meaning

But then silly me it's a soap and the androgynous Bahu has to shine
