when i was kid... "I Dream of Jeannie" was my favourite sitcom... I really love that Girl who play that role... Exactuly as some Giaa look... Cute!!😛

But I don't understand the casting of Ali Asghar
especially as the channel say they want to keep the show as true to the original.The character of the Major is a handsome man with a great career as an astronaut if I'm not wrong. Jeannie falls in love with him at first sight not because he rescues her from the bottle but because of the physical attraction...

He should be a dashing type who is
baffled by Jeannie and always getting into situations due to her magic. Giaa's casting is good but Ali Asghar more gags then it feels like Giaa's character mat well just be an attractive foil.

sherry well said. i also agree, physical attraction and realistic storyline is important.
not sure if ali is in Giaas age group. in his fp pic he seemed thirty plus na.
