Kopal loved your rambling again...😛...I always were the ring my hubby gave me first...its not even the engagement ring...I don't wear MS...and Sindoor...I don't remember the number of pheras we took...and infact our wedding took place in 45 mins (usualy our weddings are for 1 hr 15 mins if we follow everything and we had our wedding & reception in a Hotel)...So fire hazard😆...the agni was only burning when we did the pheras...and the actual tying of the MG...(they had to disalarm the smoke signal for that 30 mins...)..

We loved every bit of it...Today I am still a happily married woman...

Sometimes I feel the rituals should be followed to the extent it defines the relationship...and to the extent that is acceptable by both the families...Over doing it spoils the real purpose of the wedding which is bringing two souls together...the union of hearts...the importance should be given to the couple...😃
