Shama had called all her friends and told about Chandni's knee injury... one by one they all surrounded her in the hospital room making her more furious...she kept giving fake smiles and looked daggers at Shama who couldn't understand her reason of staring at her "what happened Chandni...?? is it painful??"
"no no Grandma...i think I would surely die of people surrounding me and kissing me on my forehead...please can you not send anyone else now" Chandni seemed irritated...
Shama smiled "well Chandni...these people are called well wishers...so don't think you are suffocated..."
Chandni rolled her eyes and looked at the other side making it very clear that she doesn't want to meet anyone...
the moment Shama and gang left she relaxed...the only thought that flicked her mind again and again was Veer... she wasn't ready to accept that she can't live without him...he was becoming her part...her anger occupied all other emotions that were running for him...how could he every time kiss her so harshly and forcefully...
her chain of thought broke at Maneka's voice "Chandni..."
Chandni looked at her '.. "i was about to call you...i may not attend college for next four weeks so please help me with the assignments..."
Maneka looked at her knee "you don't have to say that...i know what I have to do...you must rest...but tell me how did you fall...??"
Chandni looked at her knee... "well Maneka...can I tell you something...i know its really hard to believe but..."
"what is it Chandni??" Maneka placed her hand on hers...
Chandni couldn't understand from where she should start...

Meenakshi was on her way to the hospital when she received a call from one of her clients...She seemed happy and quickly reached the hospital...
"Chandni...beta how are you?? she kept a big box of food on the table...
Chandni smiled "very well mom" her smile turned into a big frown "why have you got this food here??"
Meenakshi knew Chandni hates when her Grandmother cooks the whole food in ghee... "you know your Grandmother...she insisted me, what can I do...believe me its not that bad"
"no way Mom...i won't eat that food..." Chandni made a weird face... as if she would puke any moment...
Maneka laughed "well don't worry, I will accompany you..."
Meenakshi smiled "alright...i have to leave now...you know Chandni we have got a big offer from a client, and its all because of Veer...i must tell him this..."
Chandni wanted to tell her mother that Veer was in hospital, but something stopped her...she ignored as if he hasn't done anything extraordinary...
Maneka looked at Chandni "something's cooking here...i mean you were making such faces when Meenakshi aunty spoke about Veer..."
"why the hell will I?? and it doesn't matter to me at all..." Chandni answered back while picking up the water bottle on the table...
Maneka smiled mischievously... "alright...so it means you are not interested in that handsome man???"
"handsome!!! you must be mad...and I am certainly not interested in him" Chandni replied coldly...
Maneka knew very well Chandni was lying... "well then my way is clear...if you are not interested, then I will go ahead with him..."
Chandni was getting angry at her words...how dare she thinks of Veer, she would kill her, in fact she would kill any girl who tries to come close to him... "no you will not"
"why not??? I mean you are not at all interested In him, then let me allow to '." Maneka looked at her hand that Chandni hold tightly...
"i will kill you, even if you look at my Veer" Chandni said angrily...
Maneka laughed and Chandni couldn't understand her reason of this reaction... with knitted forehead she glowered at Maneka "why the hell are you laughing??"
"because I was teasing you, you know I love Rohan...how can I even think about any other man..." Maneka smirked making Chandni embarrassed...
Maneka smiled in a teasing way "well well...now tell me why are you punishing your Veer??"
"i don't have to tell you everything...now let me rest..." she lay straight on the bed...
"Chandni you were supposed to tell me something, before Aunty had come" Maneka looked at her phone...talking casually...
Chandni now remembered that she was talking about the previous night... "oh yes... but I will talk later...i need some peace now..."

Manohar gave another thought after looking at Veer's sulking face... when they heard Veer's phone...
"hello Veer" Veer picked up the phone...Meenakshi called him to give the good news...
Veer smiled casually as he already knew that would happen "that's a good news"
"it happened only because of you...i am so happy Veer...but we can't celebrate until Chandni comes back home" Meenakshi said quickly while signing some papers...
Veer wasn't really interested in the entire conversation...but he wanted to hear about Chandni "what...what happened??
"well she hurt her knee and is admitted at the hospital...anyways when are you coming ???"
"i...i can't come today...some important work..." Veer replied not telling her exactly the reason of his absence from work...
"alright...i will see you tomorrow...bye"
Veer wanted to see Chandni...he knew he won't be satisfied unless he sees her condition with his own eyes, though he would not prefer anyone to know about this...
Manohar looked at him while reading the newspaper... "Veer...i was thinking something..."
Veer didn't answer but looked at him '...
"i think I must go and see Chandni..."
Veer immediately replied "for what??"
"well If you don't want to talk about her, then there is no point in discussing that with you" he responded with a grin unnoticed by Veer...
Veer was thinking how to beat Manohar...how dare he even thought of visiting her...he would kill anyone who would come closer to his Chandni... "well...i...i am just asking casually because you are going to meet someone...and you are my dear friend so I should know what you are up to" Veer didn't look at him...
Manohar by now was clear that the tough fight between both of them was very small in front of their love...
"i will tell you after I have a coffee break..." Manohar walked outside the room and sneaked through the small hole to see Veer's reactions...
Veer looked angry...as if he would beat Manohar, he looked at his phone...then angrily kept it down...why would he call her when she was the one who asked him to get out of her life... frustrated at everything around him he covered his face with the sheet...

Maneka was still sitting next to Chandni...when she saw her watch on the table... she smiled and silently picked up the watch and walked outside the room making sure she wasn't making any noise... "this watch will help these love birds to reunite..."
Maneka remembered last time when she had pressed this button Chandni was yelling at her , it means it will have some effect...Maneka pressed the button... "Mr Veer wake up and give a call to your darling Chandni" she laughed...
Veer heard the beep '...the frown on his forehead disappeared... but he still seemed angry...
one after another he heard several beeps... he finally picked up his phone and dialed her no...
Chandni wasn't sleeping , she turned around to pick up her phone, her eyes opened wide "how dare he..."
"you are so shameless...i can't believe"
This time Veer was super annoyed at her behavior... "if I am shameless, you are biggest drama queen in the whole world..."
"just...just shut up Veer...i am not ready to listen anything from you"
"even I am not dying to talk to you...stop giving me signals and let me rest you stupid girl"
Chandni was shocked to see her watch missing... "listen you..."
before she could say anything he had disconnected the phone...
