Sanka Devi in full mode. Her 'pagal premi pati" not far behind. And when these two are together how can smirk, tug and pin be missing? A non-sick Buaji with her 'nandkishore", a true matriarch Nani, an apparently "normal" Anjali, "responsible bahuriya" Payal, cool ManoBond's evil alter ego and her "aww you like Khushi more" pouting son Akash all are there. What you get is a wholesome IPK breather episode. Stepping stones laid leading to something big. A remarriage, as Priya predicted?... With Teej in near future and Rakshabandhan not too far off, trials and tribulations of ASR is heading to its pinnacle I guess.
Khushi has come back to GH, "ghar chhodke" to make life easy for Anjali as she picked up on Anjali's uneasiness around her. She felt that will make it easy for Arnavji. And the contract clause of their marriage(thrown by Arnav the other day as last resort to hold her)is also influencing her decision making.
Arnav on the other hand is in full blown hubby mode. The smile on his face on realization that Khushi has left her cell phone in the car, as it meant he has an excuse to go see Khushi, is so heartwarming. He rushes back much to the chagrin of his lying wife, who rushes to protect her cover. What follows is the cutest scene of the episode.
A typical Arnav-Khushi push, tug and pin with a twist...roles reversed. And husband doesn't mind at all. Infact prevents wife from pulling away by saying 'It's ok..biwi ho tum meri...haq hai tumhara..mujhpe!" and is a bit disappointed when Khushi chides him for ringing the bell.
Other funny scene was the phone call between Arnav's "pagal hai yeh ladki"wife pretending to be Buaji with Naanji and Payal...but not with Arnav as she was sure that her few months old husband will catch up on her act. A catch me if you can between a wife wanting to give "peace" to husband by moving away from him and smitten husband who's looking for any excuse to be near wife.
Here we thought only last episode that "aal is well" in Payash world but the nagging cloud of MU regarding Khushi is looming over there too. Payal, a typical girl, is trying desperately to make both Hubby and MIL happy and is fighting a losing battle. Two subtle pointers given today: Akash is going to Mumbai, Arnav asking Akaash about their Married life. Co-incidence? Not... if you know your IPK CVs well 😉
Sanaya was perfect as the Jhalli Singh Raizada as well as a woman very much in love with her husband. Her longing eyes when Arnav was leaving touches your heart. Barun was Barun-perfect playing every aspect of Arnav to dot: the hubby happy with a sudden chance to see his wife, the flirting one reminding his wife about her haq , the little disappointment look when she didn't play along, the quizzical nephew watching Maami's 'stationary warning' nautanki. Abha Parmar, deepali and Jayshree-ji matched up the leads' performances.
Overall a cute little episode.
