Thanks Punjiniji for starting the topic.
Who is to be blamed for this?..the producers and directors of such musical shows,or the filmmakers for introducing steamy scenes in their films or the MDs for making the songs befitting to the scenes,or the parents of the kids for allowing their kids to undergo these things?
Whom can we single out for the degradation of entertainment 😔 ?
What I find is that Society as a whole has undergone a change and inhibition about the concepts of love, sex, passion etc are very less in a certain section of the people.I have seen Indian parents dressing their 4 year old daughters in strappy skimpy dresses in parties.I don't want to insinuate that all the parents are like this.

Those who have some kind of inhibitions are also being conditioned to get used to all these things by watching the seductive scenes in the movie or the shows. The parents of the kids participating in the talent hunts can't oppose these things and they give in because they want to see their child somewhere.
If the participants fail to abide by these sickening norms, they are called incompetent.I still remember when Nihira and Swananda refused to wear any revealing dresses in Challenge 2005,They both were said to be lacking the X factor.
All those who participated in EMET contest had to put up a shameless show of chemistry even if they were reluctant. The norms of the show compelled them to do these nonsencical stuff 😡 😡 😡 .
Who is to be blamed for this sorry state of affairs ?

Very well put. 👏👏 However, I wouldn't call the chemistry show shameless...I would say tasteless and meaningless. There wasn't indecency as such except when one fellow recited some toilet shair.

wow completely agreed 😊 its all about what sells and what falls... apparently, the more discomfort it causes, the more it raises on the charts 😕
and if young teenage-20 hopefuls are willing to completely kick it off in remix music vidoes and what not, who's going to be bothered by watching kids sing love songs... they're just singing anyhow. 😕
i wonder which side of the public affects the X-factor this way

i agree wid punjini, but now days i guess noone feels ashamed abt these kinds of things. and its not the kids fault becuz they have to sing watever song is given to them. i feel that theres just not enuff of decent songs left and the best option is for the kids to sing more older songs which r more decent compared to the ones that come out so shamelessly today..

I agree, but [my opinion, dun start yelling at me] L'il Champs is the name. These are the future of India. If they start singing these kinda songs now [and all others] then they'll get use to it much quicker. If they get used to it now, they would know what kind of feeling to put in the song when they actually become Playback singers. It's not that they SHOULD learn it now, but it would be helpful if they did. And their parent's too are there, so if anyone objects, it would be the fault of the parent's first of approving there child's selection.

I agree completely with Vanajakshi ji.. When Gurpreet sang Kahin Aag Lage, it sounded really good.

Thing is, I dont think all songs are bad and not suited for kids to sing as what Sonayee said.

Some good new love songs which wont sound odd on kids are probably:
- Jiya Dhadak Dhadak
- all songs from Chalte Chalte
- Suraj hua Madham
- Tu bin bataye
- Jaane Kyun Log
- Piyu bole
- Dheere Jalna
- Kehna hi Kya

and some sad love songs like Juda Hoke Bhi, KANK, Tanhayee, they sound great..

Sing songs like 'I wanna make love to you' or 'Ishq hai Jhoota' like songs, its a BIG problem !!

Madhavi, "tauba tumhaare yeh ishaare" from a kid would make me squirm

Tauba tumhaare yeh ishaare
Jism damakta, jaadu jaadu
Zulf ghaneri, khushboo khushboo
Saansein hamaari maheki maheki
Nazrein tumhaari baheki baheki
Tumhaara badan hai jaise chaman
Hosh uda de yeh nazaarein
